That promotion was so funny. 😅 Go you unpacking one box at a time! I am so glad that you have a car so that you can transport stuff that you need and don't need. You are getting there woman! 💪
I'm glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun filming it 😂
Ugh yes! It helps that it's bigger too so it holds a lot. ♥️ thank you for the support
When my husband was murdered and I had to move from a 3 bedroom house into a 1 bedroom apartment I just did one box every day after work. It took awhile but I saw progress every day. Now 10 years later I'm happily married again and back in a nice home. You are doing great.
🤩
I've lived in my bungalow for 12 years and I'm still decluttering! 😂😂😂❤
Stop looking at the whole room. Literally take one box at a time and build zones for things. Winter/memory stuff/ clothes, etc.. remember you are doing great!!! ❤
Use one of the larger boxes and put thebroken down boxes in it. They won’t fall out as easily as a basket. Also pick up a box cutter. It will go so much faster! Move boxes you won’t need to upack right away (like memories or more winter gear) over against a wall and stack upwards to gain more useable floor space. Keep moving. Things in motion stay in motion! ❤❤❤❤❤
All great suggestions!🙌🏻
intro was so funny 🤣🤣 your doing well libby 🤗 enjoy your new home with your son and fur babie 🤗😘
I am so happy you started with tearing those boxes down, great first step! Mindless and shows productivity quickly, which is turn helps with your motivation!
Love love loved the creativity in promoting the product you are using to help stay focused! So fun!
Keep at it girl, you are doing great!
Someone else mentioned an IKEA wall unit to save up for. Excellent suggestion to go vertical and hidden storage with doors. UNTIL THEN, here is my suggestion: go through all of the totes with lids next.Really organize long term storage, like with like, then label the lids with masking tape or keep a master list: winter clothes, sentimental, etc. Then line them up against the wall,(double stacked if possible)put a blanket on top and then put your sofa or chairs in front. Stack two on either side of the sofa, cover with a blanket and call them end tables.🙌🏻
I still use one of our "end table" boxes 4years later 😂 ... The other 3 storage boxes are on top of my wardrobe nowadays though. Tiny house style "double-duty" hacks are a life saver!
When we moved- i had a friend who said she would help me (immediately) start unpacking boxes. I started to protest- bcuz i had a baby & husband- but she said to let hubby take care of the baby. She said stuff would sit in boxes for weeks if we didn't get it done immediately! ...& for the next 3 days she helped me put away & organize everything!!!❤... Sometimes we just need to ask for or accept help from other people bcuz moving is A LOT!! It's a huge stressor. (My friend is also a family therapist- so i trusted her w/my boundaries bcuz i am that person that wants to control everything & has trouble asking for help)!❤
I would have hated that at the start because of my anxiety/control issues, but as the process continued I would have loved it.
Keep 1 box for donating,as you go threw your boxes its there for, keep by your door when fill take it out of your house.
Also put ex's dishes in a box to take out of when you take your boxes to the car.
Glad to your happiness❤
I think ur idea to get rid of empty boxes to start is grt. Next is ur bathroom fully unpacked/declutteres? How about the kitchen? Once a few rooms are in order then u can take one box at a time! As u know well if u don’t use or need it then consider donating/trashing or storing at ur moms? Good luck Libby! We are all here for u!❤
a thing to keep in your mind that helps is " if you don't use, wear it or see it " in a year get rid of it, less always makes me feel better.
I do every 6months.
If i havent seen it thought about it worn it or used it...off it goes to Vinnies or the Salvo's.
I do that to
So proud of you Libby. I have had a HELL of a time....abuse, neglect, etc....and just this year, 2024, things are looking up, I have hope. And I have grown as a human being and woman, and I see these things in you too. Makes me feel like there are women out there kicking ass, and makes me continue my own fight with courage!
You are a great mom, a great cleaner, A GREAT HUMAN!
I am so glad things are looking up for you ♥️ thank you so much for your kind words!! You are doing amazing things!!
And so are you, we've got this!!!!@@SimplyLibbyt
@deliciousfailure: So sorry you’ve had a hard time. Remember you are amazing and you can do this! There are good people and joy in your future. Sending you a huge hug. 🧡🧡🧡
@BlueBird-nf2gp thank you so much 🐦 it gives me hope when I see there is still kindness out in the world
😂Totally thought you were talking to “Anxiety” at the beginning when you asked if wanted the instructions!! I didn’t know Kelly was there!!!
I thought she was talking to us, and my answer was a firm, “Heck no! They’re probably online. Find the pdf. Unless it’s kind of a random cheap electronic. Those can be kind of weird.”
One box at a time! You can do it!😊
I would attack the non boxed stuff first as thats making it look worse than it is. Always go for what is the bulk of a job first: then you feel you've made huge progress!
That's honestly a really good idea! The boxes are at least "neat" the bags are a nightmare lol
@@SimplyLibbyt Exactly! 💜
I had an idea for the cowgirl boots that hurt your feet. What about putting in fake leaves or flowers and display them in your home? This way you can enjoy looking at them! I am loving seeing you get unpacked and settled in. You are doing a great job!!!
Room store under bed? There is shoe organizer that hang on doors has pockets. They work for every door. Awesome for small spaces.
I like seeing the process of finding homes for everything & emptying boxes. Well if you run out of space where the shoes are you get a taller shelf shoes on bottom & more space on top but it takes time so rush to figure it all out. That is a long power outage wow!
I wanted to hand you a box cutter or scissors when you were breaking all the boxes down. You were tiring me out! lol. Keep it going! One box at a time! ❤❤❤
😂😂 the scissors were literally 10 ft away 😂 why am I like this lol
@@SimplyLibbyt 🤣♥️
@@SimplyLibbyt we all are
One box at a time!!!
Great job! I’m still decluttering also. Trying to be ruthless! Keep going!!!!!! Don’t need that. Don’t need this. Don’t want to take care of this. Not using that. Don’t like that. The more we declutter the more peace we will find. Hugs to you and your sweet boy. 😊🧡🧡🧡🧡
You are one resilient lady!! You go girl!!!❤❤😊😊
Cute ad segment!
To is "if in doubt put it out" so charity, dump or pass it on and you get through so much quicker
Great work. You are a warrior ❤
My saying is just do it and live your life, everything is going to be ok.
You're doing a great job. You will get it done one box at a time. I've heard of a method called reverse decluttering. Instead of deciding what to throw away to begin with, you decide what you truly love and want to keep. Whatever is left is either donated or trashed. I don't know if that will work in your situation but it wouldn't hurt to try something different if you are struggling.
Libby, you crack me up with the 3 gals with you❤ you are a good actress.
Keep the mirror and curling iron so u can doll up at your desk.
Love your attitude! It will get done if you just keep going. Sometimes that may be faster or slower, but you will get there. Sometimes you need a break and the key is to ensure that you get going again when you can.
Well done, Libby. One box at a time is brilliant. Take your time, and you will get there. Plus, you will have a lot less stuff as you will declutter so much more naturally.
One bit of advice you could do with a wall of Billy bookcases with cupboard doors at the bottom from IKEA. They are so affordable.
As in a small space, you need to utilise the wall height/space and have some hidden storage for items you don't want to look at all the time, but you still use.
I'm looking forward to seeing you progress "One box at a time" 💕💕💕
So nice to see you again. I was hoping you were alright. I know the work an emotional move entails.
I am so proud of you ❤❤❤ You can do it and make yourself a lovely and cozy home
One box at a time works for me. If your food was in freezer and still cold , you could cook some of it and refreeze it.
I live in Omaha and yes that storm was horrible. I lost power for 26 hours and lost all my food. So that was awful. My family lost power for 5 days… Take care glad you’re getting things done. You sound so positive and happy 😊
Ugh it was sooo bad wasn't it! I watched the tree fall on the power line 😭 I'm glad it's all restored though ♥️
@@SimplyLibbyt yes it was bad. . Still have roads full of trees to be picked up.
i was thinking keep one big box , to break them down in . genius it’s the laundry basket . one box at a time
It has worked tremendously well! A little more challenging for the bigger boxes though 😂
You're doing great!
I stuff a medium flattened box with the others- no container needed. 😋
Ok, you are doing well! 😁👍
It's been looking up lately ♥️
Amazing advert!
Well done Libby you can do this one box at a time !😁🇬🇧❤️
You could put stuff in tubs with lids and drape some nice material over it and use it for another surface to put stuff on.
Great job Libby! You are doing great something each day makes progress❤
Great work with the ad!
Thank you!!♥️
Hiieee... One thing that always helps me when unpacking, where ever I put an item, doesn't have to be its permanent home. Just a thought. The placement may work for a week or 6 months, but it can be moved. Also any progress is awesome... Keep up The great work.. TFS
Thanks
Thank you!!! ♥️♥️
New subscriber from England, sending love and prayers.❤
Excellent editing job, especially the intro
3 libbieeees! Yaaay! 😂❤🎉
I loved the ad, it was a fun way to keep it fresh. Also, it may have taken a while to unpack but you have started and that's the main thing.
Always keep the largest box intact to put all of the other flattened boxes in. So much easier to transport and then dump the whole thing. Then you can use the laundry basket for something else.
Love your sense of humor! 😂
You got this, Libby. Keep on pushing yourself to let go. And remember that full house decluttering takes a long damn time. You can declutter, but then sit with what you have and see that you can and need to let go of more. It happens in layers. Your place is going to be beautiful once you're done. ❤
Love to see you smiling and laughing! You will get there at your own pace.
Funny 😁 ❤! Progress is happening one day at a time!
Hi Libby! You're doing good:) this reminds me of when I had a small apartment with my kids, just a thought for you, in our apartment i gave the bedrooms to my kids and turned my front room into a bedroom for me, half the room had a love seat and two chairs that made a nice sitting area for everyone and the other half i made a nice bedroom area and my daughter's crib, my two boys each had their own bedroom. It worked out so nice, I actually miss those days:). Ive only just came across your videos and have seen your new move. You are doing an amazing job, and you are a good mother to your cute little son. Thanks for sharing ❤️
Were those stars in the night sky outside your window? Thats so lovely ..can not recall last time i saw stars in the sky..
Libby! Just keep a large box bybe ruthless Libby straighten out the place and donate what doesnt make you happy to own😂Lizzie 🏴 your side and pop the cut down boxes straight in and ready to take to your car🤪
You will feel amazing when it’s done. Keep going girl You’ve got this. love from 🇬🇧
So happy to see you unpacking and smiling while you’re doing it❣️
Glad you had somewhere safe to go when storm hit ,sorry you lost food but as long as you ,your son ,fur baby is ok thats the main thing❤
So proud of you ❤
Great job!! Keep up the good work.
No power! Yikes. Still, now it's full steam ahead for getting sorted out. One box at a time is a very good way to do it. And if you need to store some things in view, invest in matching, stacking clear boxes so that you can easily see what is in them and you can have 1 neat stack somewhere. You are going to make this little flat your home very soon now. The day you bake and decorate your first cake will be the day you realise you have relaxed into it and you feel safe.
❤ go girl 🎉
Doing good you,ve got this❤
Great way to unpack and keep yourself from feeling overwhelmed!! Also allows you to continue to declutter as you go!
Keep biggest box and fill it up too. ❤
😂 awesome job!!!!🎉
Good girl! Yay!
♥️
Sending you much love❤ i find a lot of comfort in your videos.
That is so sweet! Thank you ♥️♥️
Try using saddle soap on your Cowgirl boots to soften the leather. I used to use it to soften my Doc Martens before I tried to break them in. :)
Love your videos can you make more or make them longer? Thanks 😊
Something similar happened to me and the neighbors got together had a bbq and ate everything we all shared and we got to know our neighbors
I love your commercial 🙂
Kitties "oh no!" when you were breaking down boxes... I always apologize to my 2 kitties when I break down boxes.
😂 I put them there to cover my address but though they were SO funny 😂
@@SimplyLibbyt lolollll I would have never noticed it was to cover an address ☺ have a great weekend!!
Oh listening to you makes me question if I have adhd .
Cute advertisement! Good job 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it! ♥️
I would organize the boxes in categories and then unpack the category you need most to work on first
❤ "Anxiety" and "ADHD"!!! It seems counter-productive, but take the time to sort through your boxes and put like things together. As you do that you can declutter things you don't want and get them out!❤
The promotional thing was funny, but please invest in a utility knife (box cutter). It is a time saver and it doesn't have to be expensive.
I'm in a similar situation. Moved in on 2nd of August, but stayed at my dad for 2 weeks (no power outage, but it was to give me time to get settle like build the bed, instal the washer dryer, and idk how it became 2 weeks 🙈😅) and now I'm here and I empty boxes, with a lot of contemplating and freezes and just standing doing nothing cuz I'm overwhelmed 😂. For exemple I have storage in that apartment but the previous owner left the apartment filthy and it's like my brain just block. Like I'm set on emptying boxes, not cleaning, so I'm opening a box and think where I'm going to put that and my brain is like "in that cabinet. Oh but we need to clean it. Urgh" 🫠🫠🫠 I know I should probably start by cleaning everything 🙈. I'll get it all done little by little 🥲 I got over the kitchen, that was a big accomplishment haha. (How many kitchen accessories can one own?? That's crazy 🙉!)

Please use a knife, scissors or a key to break down the boxes. It will save time and energy plus easier on your hands.
❤
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your Cowboy boots, put them on while your doing stuff at home wear then just walking around house will stretch them out to fit your feet after a while lol
"Treat" yourself to box cutters & sliders. You will thank your future self.
The goverment was helping people who lost food, and it's not just for those who are already on food stamps. You should check into it.
I want to see a updated progress on the kitchen, looks like you did some furniture and got a new thing, I want to see in your drawers, cupboards and fridge plz 😂❤😅
You're too funny! I will get on it 👌
@@SimplyLibbyt hahahaha
Does the power company give you any compensation for the interruption in supply?
Funny intro 😅 as for your cowbow boots, the investment has already been spent, you're nit getting that back. Maybe try selling them and get something at least for them. But if not then just donate if you aren't going to wear them. I know it's not easy. I've done something similar a few years back. But no regrets. 😊 One box at a time girl. 😊
Same here boots are expensive but what's the price of comfort, my comfortable boots I wore to death, the not so comfortable ones got donated so I wasn't reminded every time I looked in the closet that I made a mistake.
Box cutter. Chop chop your cardboard into smaller pieces and you will gain domination over boxes of any size. ❤ glad to see you got past the storm and its fallout and onward with the unpacking.
Will your shoe rack fit in on of your closets? Just a suggestion.
Why doesn’t your partner help you or a friend
