Something I neglected to tell your viewers that I bought that car off the showroom floor,... It's a one-owner car with 250,000 miles on it and the motor and tranny has never been taken apart but I did have to rebuild the differential at 98,000 miles. The factory shimmed the differential carrier bearings too tight and the rear end howled from day one. They claimed it was tire noise on a high gain suspension,..."BS", until that fateful day the third member went sideways. I rebuilt it in the driveway and it has been quiet ever since.
Had one of those I bought for my in the 80’s. Every drive would mean more work. Nothing was original on it but the body. Last Chevy for me, you don’t make money fixing your own stuff.
Gregg , I definitely Hear you buddy took at least a week of cleaning that Camaro it's not fun but when you're done it is definitely satisfying!! Thanks again for watching my channel!!
Mike I'm pretty excited for the next Will It Run?? I'm definitely going to try to make a much better video. Going to be a 54 Ford milk truck has not been started in 50 years. And if that goes well a 1956 international r220 and It has not been started in 30 year!! Thanks again Mike.
It's the real deal ! Kind of hard to stage something like that! So the floor boards are completely rusted out and need to be replaced the original owner is going to do that just got it up and drivable for them to keeps them motivated working on it. Thanks for watching!
I must say . I was happy the way you tuck your time to just blow out and off everything . And do i so other people that might want to do something like that could see how it's done are way . And the reason I say are way . Is because I've always done it like that to try to not only to make sure everything is blown out from every little spot that my even ketch in fire. And to preserve everything that so it doesn't break. Even the sticks.
You can't tell but it was a mud hole where we were and my Yukon was spinning the whole time just to get there. Also my buddy Ted like playing with his tractor. 😆
wow thats a very very OLD looking tractor at 3:32 ( i have a Massey Fergusson 202 industrial and a Mahindra 4550 i uuse them to mow at my rural home that sits on 30.5 acres
So my buddy Ted likes finding old abandoned tractors and getting them running! So the tractor that's pulling the 78 Camaro out is a 1958 Minneapolis Moline 5 star. Thanks for the comment & Thanks for watching!!
I cant understand why people always take the air cleaners off. I've seen so many cars at the wreckers over the years, where the motors are completely trashed because of it.
So that's what the old timers taught me over the years. The theory is the oil that's mixed with the gas will help lubricate the top end of your motor. Especially when it's a motor that has not ran in years and it will not hurt the motor it will just smoke for a little bit. Thanks again for watching.
@@cheapandeasymods that's what I thought. I have seen ol timers pour transmission fluid down the carb. Or pour a quart of water to clean the carbon off
Hey hey fucknnn hey LOL it's ya goofy m8te from Australia 😆 love ya show [ HOLDEN COMMODORE VE UTE HSV Maloo R8 E series LS3 turbo start up accelerate sound ] - mate type that in on utube watch n enjoy...it only goes for 1.56 sec but wait till you see it..on a big screen..[ let me know what you think about the car in a reply ] ya goofy m8te from Australia
Hey, Just watch the Maloo R8 E series LS3 turbo. All the motors I've built and messed with over the years the LS is probably one of the strongest motors out there for the money! Thank for watching my channel!
That was one of the worst iv ever seen when it comes to the leaves and sticks etc etc , I don’t think I would have tried to start it with thirty year old gas etc etc in it !!!
I got very lucky lines to the carburetor from fuel pump the rubber lines chewed in half so the carburetor was completely dry no gas. So then I started cleaning out the gas lines the rubber hose gas to tank have rotted away so the gas in tank was also empty. I was able to clean gas tank and blow out the carburetor. One of those things I thought my phone was filming all that turned out I forgot to push record. Lol..
I agree with Richard, I would never just pull it out of the ground like that and I would have checked to see if the motor was locked up and checked to see if it had any oil in it! You can break the rings and starter by trying it like that.
I bought that car for my wife as a wedding gift two weeks before we married,... Thank you Josh for waking it up for her.🙂
No problem David, I can't wait to see her reaction! And I had a blast getting it up and running again.
