You're a 100% correct on savings of gravel, l haven't bought a load for my driveway in over 20 years. Some guys can do a fantastic job with just a scraper blade but l found the landplane simple and foolproof to use once it's set up for the tractor. I do have weights on mine though just a couple of 25 gal water tanks, slices through hard pack like butter.

Thanks for sharing. I've got a first year model 770 that runs great but it spent most of it's life just spreading manure and there's no green paint left on it.

Find someone who has a skidsteer with a rock grouter. (Not sure what they're really called) One pass with it will bring up rock you put down 10 years ago. Guys around here charge about 80 or 90 per hr. Cheaper than a load of rock.

I had a 1650 gas in the early 90's. Squared hay with it for two years. I don't know why but that was the hottest tractor to operate I have ever had. It just cooked you. We had a gas price spike and I traded it for a AC XT190.

I'll have to look into one of those I also have a long drive and my Bobcat skid steer does not do as good of a job. Question I have 2 Oliver 60 that were my Dads on rubber, I have cultivators for them but I was thinking of finding a corn planter that fit in the front. I think it would be neat to have one with a cultivator and one with the corn planter have you seen any around your area?
