    Dude, this is brilliant. I have tried for hours trying to get bearing out of my BLX motor, causing damage to it whilst trying. I then saw this vi5, never believed for a minute that it would work, but had no option but to try because i was stuck, and dam, it worked amazingly brilliant. Within less than 2 minutes the bearing was out. Absolutely amazing and thank you

    Did this to remove pilot bearings from crankshafts and it works great! Never thought about it for removing a bearing that's stuck in my castle motor. Gonna try it so I can replace the bad bearing. Hope it works.

    About to find out very shortly how well this trick works. I put a few drops of penetrating oil on the bearing and hole, concerned about dissimilar metal corrosion as the end bell is made out of aluminum and the bearing race is made of steel. I might see if I can use the hydraulic pressure from pressing on the oil to see if that works first... if not then the bread.

    I have Typhon 3s I pulled motor and armature. The one bearing is broken up, I noticed on one side is a metal ring flopping I can’t get off. And under is a half blue ring of what looks like silicone on armature. Any idea what that is. I know I have to put bearing inside housing and bang it in before putting armature back in. I post a video on my channel if you could take a look. Thanks in advance. I’m new to this. Never had a motor apart before

      The blue "silicone " could have been used to balance the armature? From the factory? Without seeing the piece, I couldn't tell you for sure?

      @@IRONCLADRC I have a video on my TH-cam showing it. I had to hammer out the armature. Is that normal or was that from bearing being exploded? Do you know how to clean the motor out and the armature? Thank you in advance

      @@IRONCLADRC do you have any tricks to get old inner bearing off shaft. Mine is stuck like hell. I tried prying everything. I know people have tricks for these issues. I’m sitting here with new besrings screwed. Also, I have another armature but the thread is down to metal in some spots. Is it bad or can it be used. It was running f8ne before bearing exploded

    Hi. Any tips on how to remove a blown bearing from the back of the motor? Only the outer ring is left in there and it’s stuck pretty good…

    • @IRONCLADRC

      O ring pliers that expand when you close them

    what's A good way to put the bearings back in that are very tight without damaging them??

    • @IRONCLADRC
      @IRONCLADRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Find a socket that fits the outside race Perfect tap ot in. Don't tap the inside race it will ruin the bearing

    Yeah, but how did you get the front bearing out?

    • @IRONCLADRC
      @IRONCLADRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Front bearing is simple, just use a medium size punch through the bearing till it bottoms out and tap with a hammer

    • @OlExtraRegularBass
      @OlExtraRegularBass ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IRONCLADRC Nah, mine exploded. It's just the outer race. I didn't know if a blind puller existed for a bearing so small. They don't. I'll just make one tomorrow.
