Here's a funny story about that ending cut-scene. It was 2am for me, and I had been playing this game for several hours. I had some friends at the time who are night-owls that like to stay up late, so I got an message from one of them during that cut-scene, and I wasn't looking at the TV. Then the Nicole jumpscare happened as I was raising my head up to look back at the TV and boy did it scare the crap out of me as obviously I was not expecting it for first time playthrough. You can imagine that my ability sleep was pretty much gone for the night.
This is the first game to give me nightmares! I love it. Also thanks for having all the chapters split up nicely and named, makes remembering where you left the video off a lot easier!
Thank you for making such a long and great review. I always chose the line gun and pulse rifle. Also the inclusion of game audio and scenes really makes this so much fun to watch’
I remember playing this game when I was 15, to say I sh_t myself is an understament. Even when I replay it 2 years ago. Lets hope the Remake does not get ruin by EA whenever the sequel get remake One thing I do think, is that the reason necromorphs get more damage by shooting the limbs, its because you don't kill them, you can only immobilize it.
Crazy but my first time taking X I ended up playing this by a friend's house, horror movies I love games, not so much but I played this got halfway through ended up going home and downloading it and played for like 14 hours straight until I finished it. Looking forward to the remake
Damn, your only 11k subs!? With how professionally edited the video is, I find it hard to see why this channel isn't getting the love and attention it deserves. Not sure if your open to suggestions but you should try Twitch and post your gameplay in here.
there are a few horror games out there that I just can't play....dead space is one of them....most of the multiplayer horror games I'm ok with but ALOT of the singleplayer ones....yeah nah I can't....did a stream years ago now of alien isolation and basically had my chat back then tell me I needed to get off the game because my heart rate thingy was WAY to high...(I was pretty much mid panic attack and alt-f4ed and uninstalled almost the same thing happened with this game) the practically constant presence of fear got to me quiiiick in this game....
@@morkgin2459 Here, lemme point it out: - Unconventional arsenal with few redundant options - Enemy types that are visually distinct and have predictable behavior - Level design that revolves around leveraging those enemy types against the player to create a difficulty curve
Bringing Hammond's body with you to the level end is just comically grim and I am glad I got to witness you do that.
As a spaceship nerd, I also enjoyed this game the most because you get to go through all the ship's system. I fell in love with the Ishimura.

Please do a Dead Space 2 review. I love all your videos I've watched, even the ones I haven't played. Keep doing what you do man.
I have recently found and fallen in love with this channel. Keep making videos!

Fun fact, Gunner Wright provided the voice clips for Isaac grunting in the first game. Been the voice since the very first game.
Apparently it was just stock grunts and such taken from various sources, even one of his death screams was a random stock scream.
Every time you used comedy during a horrific situation like on 20:18 was just me when I actually played through the game so I wouldn’t crap my pants 😅

How do you know that Issac has no taste in music?
Because he liked Nicole-back.
I found it funny that you holdet on on that nicole joke the whole video
Never believed it that she would be alive
This game is simply one of the best ever made! I've played it last year, and I can't wait for the remake to be launched
Finding Kendra's bra size? I must of missed that in my playthrough.
The plasma cutter is a medical tool. In Dead space 2, Isaac gets one off a rig hoisted above an operating table
Halloween in January?
How fiendishly droll!
Playing this on 360 on a sony trinitron with component cables and surround sound is awesome
This is gonna be epic. Let's watch 'Event Horizon - the game' :p
As someone who played Dead Space on hard then did it again on impossible, these fights your calling 'easy' are only easy on medium
Finally, someone that isn't jaded and dunks on the remake for no reason
Big hype love your videos
God imagine going from Re4 to dead space? I’d a had a heart attack if I wasn’t already used to horror when I played it.
Another banger by fuzzyslippers!
And shayne Topp from iCarly?
17:24 I know what you mean I will always remember the man headbutting a wall until he dies
and then we see that 3 minutes after this comment.... thanks fuzzy
I think Hammond's mission he was referring to was to try to save the ship I guess.
43:30. You can put them whatever You like, as long as working anthenas close the same circle.
Would love to see you cover Metro 2033/Metro Last Light/Metro Exodus
Same. S.t.a.l.k.e.r also if he hasn't done that.

38:40 the Weezer LOL. I was thinking that as soon as he said it and then the song 😆 Wonderful

Funny enough I just replayed it see if still held up and you should do dead space 2
heck yess!!!!
So you bring up Fallout...maybe youll cover it soon? ;)
Those fucking screams man
NICOLE IS DEAD
Also you can read marker symbols, there is an alphabet put somewhere on the wall

Mira Calix.
This game always felt like a third-person Boomer Shooter to me. I guess that's most of why I love it.
Boomer shooter? That would be RE4
@@morkgin2459 Nah, the combat of Dead Space takes way more cues from the likes of Doom and Quake than RE, even though it has RE4's camera perspective.

The Last of Us 2 was a masterpiece and Ellie is a boss.
Almost at 10k subs?
