taiwan is my favorite country coz it designs/makes all my favorite things. bicycles and components, rockshox, fox, DNM, etc. computers, i'm typing this on an AMD fabbed by tsmc on a taiwanese motherboard (MSI). my phone is running on a taiwanese mediatek chip fabbed by tsmc. greetings from PH

我愛菲律賓！ 曾經有位非常和善的菲律賓女孩來幫助我照顧我的母親。
Taiwanese were very nice to us Filipinos. There are many Filipino workers in Taiwan and they said that most Taiwanese were nice and friendly . Long time ago our government has diplomatic ties with Taiwan but after a few decades the good or diplomatic relationship was over but still we love Taiwan.
Philippines governments are weird to be honest, but I find it interesting that Taiwanese usually like Filipinos for their friendly and positive attitude of life, despite not being a fan of the country as a whole 🤔 It's like we usually think PH government couldn't be trusted, but Filipinos are really sweet people.
上一份工作在晶圓廠跟菲律賓同事們共事了五年七個月，都相處得很好，常常看她們休息時間拍跳舞抖音，她們也很愛推廣菲律賓美食給台灣人😂
以前從來不知道菲律賓的重要性。如今美國要重建亞洲地區的民主大聯盟，那麼菲律賓的參與，對台灣來說，也是相當重要的一環。我們也應該在能力範圍之內，好好對待我們的這一位鄰居，盡量幫助菲律賓人，而無後顧之憂。
我每年接觸幾千個外國船員我每年所接觸的菲律賓船員幾佰上千菲律賓人大部分對台灣是很友善的尤其是在台灣待過工作過的朋友我也曾幫忙菲律賓不認識的陌生朋友購買台灣名產我不收費幫忙我還倒貼(自願)泰國同事我也幫忙過也是倒貼(自願)我所接觸過的這兩國人都很好相處
菲律賓的海灘超美，食物口味很重超好吃…但不能常吃
有一個受訪者觀察的很好，台灣人偏好食物的原始味道
然後我們都有同為南島語系的原住民。
My wife is from Cebu Philippines but lived in Taiwan for many year's. I have been to both countries and agree that both countries have very friendly people and even though the foods are very different both are delicious. Great video by the way.
以前上班認識很多菲律賓人，大部份都很熱情好聊天，英文、中文、肢體語言也可以聊很久😂，真心對待別人，會有一樣的反饋，不限國籍😁

I'm Taiwanese, and I have to admit that when it comes to beaches, the Philippines can easily outrank Taiwan.They have the BEST beaches, especially on remote islands, in Asia, and probably also among the tops in the whole world.
I also find it odd that in general, Taiwanese don't know much about this neighbor of ours, and the Philippines definitely deserve better. It's really nice to have videos like this one to shift our eyesight from Japan to the neighbor on the other side. Nice work, Prozzie!
And to other Taiwanese viewers, the Philippines are definitely worth at least a visit! It's a beautiful country and people are nice and fun and easy-going, and it's so close to us!
Philippine people are beautiful and happy. They don’t discriminate other people and get along with others well. We used to have a beautiful Philippine lady helping my grandma in Kaohsiung Taiwan. She could get along with everyone and taught us about their catholic religion culture.

菲律賓與台灣原住民有非常相近的基因，也都是南島語族群，台灣到馬尼拉的距離比到東京還近，蘭嶼的達悟族及台灣東部及南部部落就是菲律賓北方群島因為冰河時期結束，海平面上升，島嶼資源匱乏被迫往外漂流到台灣的。
菲律賓是好鄰居，人民也很熱情！
我第一次出國的地方就是長灘島，一個很美的地方，熱情的態度讓我好像回到台東的感覺，跟同樣南島民族的朋友相處很舒服放鬆。

I lived in Philippines before they are quite friendly to Taiwanese as opposed to the neighbor. People who has gone to Taiwan like to ask me if I've gone to top of 101, and they are really surprised that I've never gone up there. But it happens, locals never got places that travelers go

Hong Kong people are speaking Cantonese.
Many old Hong Kong TV series, movies, and songs are actually speaking Cantonese, not Mandarin...... It's when imports to Taiwan (or China), are re-dubbed into Mandarin.
Actually, Taiwan is not speaking Mandarin in the past......

我年輕的時候，高中剛畢業，英文比現在差很多很多。和菲律賓人說英文，感覺比較沒有壓力。
不知道為什麼和美國人，說英文比，怕說錯的壓力比教大，和英國人說英文壓力更大。和菲律賓人說英文，不怕被笑，也沒被笑過。可能也只是我個人的問題。
口音問題 ，我也住菲律賓 。有時候會怕跟歐美人說英文 。
在台灣大家把語言當考試，當作溝通的語言，會覺得對方不在乎你說的好不好。而是敢不敢說。
when you are East asian and South East asian people and try to speak English to Filipinos they will not laugh at you and will not judge you, because that's understandable. as a Filipinos we are willing more to help foreigners, basic English is fine. Most Filipinos want to try or practice their English to asian people too. it gave them more confident to speak English. but most Filipinos we judge each other when it comes to English. Filipinos bully or laugh each when the grammar and accent is wrong or bad. thats why Filipinos feel more confident to speak to foreigner. English proficiency exam is more difficult in the Philippines too, and in a job interview most Filipinos prefer a foreigner interviewer. Don't try to take IELTS in the Philippines it is more harder. but if you are preparing for IELTS i recommend IELTS review center in the Philippines.

就個人跟移工相處的經驗而言，菲律賓人是我覺得比較好相處的，比較有趣的是菲籍移工大部分都覺得越南移工不好XDD(印象不太好)

The two biggest differences between Taiwan and The Philipines are English, and attitudes towards money. Unlike Taiwan, the vast majority of Filipinos speak English, and it is one of the nation's two official languages. Second, Filipinos and the residents of Taiwan occupy the different extremes when it comes to saving versus spending money. Chinese people are typically big savers, that spend only a fraction of their salaries. Filipinos tend to spend most of what they earn, but in fairness typically have less disposable income.

I think there is a long way to go in Taiwan to achieving the equality between locals and foreign employees, but I have seen some small but real improvements. Good for you, Taiwan!

菲律賓的米粉和扁食的發音跟台灣一模一樣 (用台語唸)
這是因為早期的潮汕、閩南華人移民到菲律賓的影響，印尼也是，米粉，麵，茶，豆腐，肉包的發音，是潮州話（和閩南語很像）
台灣人熱情 、有美食好好吃、愛台灣、標題這樣下就有流量了

One thing you may not know is that native Cebuano/Bisaya speakers have much less accent when speaking English, than the native Tagalog speakers you find around Manila. Cebuano/Bisaya is the language of Visaya/The Middle Islands (and much of Northern Mindanao), and most Filipinos in those areas are also fluent in Tagalog/Filipino and English. Many Filipinos, no matter their native dialect, will claim speaking English "makes their nose bleed".
