If I don’t get Wind Waker or Twilight Princess HD this year, we’re going to have problems.
Hey I'm new to switch and Zelda games as a whole. What do these HD versions of the game mean? Is it a remaster or remake?
@@PhoenixKeebs Wind Waker HD has completely redone graphics, while Twilight Princess HD has more of just an upgrade in resolution.
@@diegozcastro1061ok thanks so will Twilight Princess look more modern. I've seen what the game looks like and have been wanting to try it out but the graphics don't look that good to me. I have really sensitive eyes so games that have low graphics make me feel nauseous.

@@LeonSKennedy7777A few small issues, the wii u isn't easily accessible, isn't currently being sold by Nintendo and is region locked. Heck even the gamepad is region locked and wii u's are pretty much unusable without gamepads cuz they're required for setting up the wii u. What I'm trying to say is finding a used wii u with the correct region gamepad and adapter, along with a physical copy of the game will not be a pleasant experience. So yeah, we truly need a switch port

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is the best of the Prime trilogy and I want it to be remastered in the same vein as the first. If I wanted a mere HD upscale I'd just play Primehack.
Yeah i agree Prime 2 is my favorite from the trilogy and i really want the same treatment from Prime 1 for a remaster.
Well the Prime 1 remaster was apparently done in 2019, so it's possible Prime 2 could've gotten the same treatment with Prime 3 being an enhanced port.
@@GentleJellicent There was a rumor that we were only getting straight ports of Prime 2 and 3; but considering Prime Remastered did pretty well in sales, maybe they're re-considering it and we're getting Remasters of each.

My wish for this last Switch-specific direct would be any of the three:
1. Metroid Prime 4
2. Ocarina of Time remake
3. F Zero GX remake
One of these for Switch. I know I’m in the minority, as many people want these for Switch 2. I’m not getting my hopes up on any of these, but one can dream

You are acting as if Nintendo is not going to support the current switch when it’s successor comes out they will obviously it won’t be their primary focus anymore but Nintendo is not going to just throw 141 million users under the bus.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 You’re right, and I hope so. I just worry all the “hyped” titles will be reserved for Switch 2. A lot of the Nintendo/gaming TH-camrs seem to be talking in a way that all the good stuff will be reserved for the next console, and that all we have to look forward to is weak ports (such as Luigi’s Mansion 2 for $60 🤦♂️)
We better we getting Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Nintendo Switch, and it should've been in Super Mario 3D All-Stars in 2020.

I need _MP2_ and _MP3,_ _WW,_ _TP,_ possibly _OOT_ and _MM,_ and maybe even some other stuff I haven’t even thought on (like _DKCR_ ?) on NS OIAGTD.

💯 percent the 3ds ports of Ocarina and Majoras mask brought to the switch remasters. Also Samus returns in hd!

I also think it's time for the Link's Awakening team to make a new 2D Zelda.
If Metroid Prime 4 is announced for release in 2025 then it's going to be a cross-gen title for sure.
I would be more than happy to cast off into the sea onboard the King of Red Lions sailboat with Windwaker if remastered, with a side of Ganondorf we can emphaize with which is rare in the most recent Zelda games.
The Great King of Evil/King of Thieves saw a green land of Hyrule as an opportunity for the Gerudo to thrive from the the desert that carries death.
An open water exploration is what Nintendo needs to be brought back for the future of the LoZ franchise. Maybe in the sequel to TOTK since there are neighboring countries outside of Hyrule.
As a Metroid fan I'm just hoping for either a new trailer and release date for Metroid Prime 4 or a HD Remaster of Metroid Prime 2 Echoes announced for it, either one would satisfy me.

Hopefully, your selfish hopes will fail Nintendo promised Metroid prime 4 for think more people would be angry that it doesn’t come to the current switch because it was promised to be on that system they can do what they did with breath of the wild and release it for both the current switch and switch 2.
I got fire emblem path of radiance and radiant dawn, doing a bundle with those 2 games on switch, would be great. They are rare, expensif and they are retro fire emblems that deserve more praise.

I think a reboot of DK64 would be a crazy, out of left field Nintendo thing to do. Zelda tp and ww.... I NEED THESE on switch lol.
I don’t think they’d do a Rare-like 3D collectathon, but I think a semi-open 3D platformer, in a similar vein to _Sonic Frontiers_ would be a great direction for DK… or just a third _Donkey Kong Country Returns_ game 🤙

I hope this June Nintendo Direct is huge because I hope we do finally get a sequel or port of Tomodachi Life and add the Miitopia Mii Maker to it and also get the Miis that people created online. And then we could finally get two games in one for full-on remakes of both Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot and also add new side-story modes for both Taranza and Susie just like how they did with Magolor in Magolor Epilogue. I know that we're getting a remake of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse but I hope they can add new playable characters to go along with Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee like King Dedede and Meta Knight. Hopefully, we could get a new Mario Party Game since we already have Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars so hopefully, we do get a new Mario Party game with new boards, new minigames, and maybe a new roster. For the new Kirby Game maybe we could get a spin-off of either Kirby Battle Royale or a sequel for Kirby's Dream Buffet or Epic Yarn or Kirby Air Ride but if it's a new one then hopefully we could see a sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land and have new playable characters in it like King Dedede, Meta Knight, Elfilin, and Clawroline. And when it comes to the new Kirby Games I hope that they don't use the Club King Dedede design because it doesn't even look like Dedede it looks like a club penguin so I hope they use the Star Allies design of Dedede and that one in new Kirby Games and I hope that design is not permanent either. I hope we do get new information and a release date for Epic Mickey Rebrushed because I played it on the Wii back then as a kid and I really want to play it again on Switch. Also maybe we could see Super Mario Land, Super Smash Bros 64, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and Maybe Wario Land 4 coming to NSO. And for the final announcement maybe they could announce a new 3D Mario Game or the new Mario Kart Game Mario Kart 10.
And yeah that's all my predictions and I hope this last General Nintendo Direct in June will be a really good one instead of a very bad or short one.
I hope it is true that there is a Fire Emblem coming. I wish they would bring even more of the Fire Emblem games to Switch. Like Fates(both as a pack plus revelations), Echoes Shadows of Valentia, and Awakening. I know there's more, but I haven't played the ones older than these.
Do you think we will get a September direct? Some people think this June direct will be the final one for switch?
It could be half Switch half Switch 2 stuff. Pokemon Z-A for example for the Switch, but they would reveal the launch games for Switch 2.
@@ItApproaches I kinda doubt it would be for both systems they have to announce the first trailer first but we don't know for sure if the trailer is coming out this year for sure they didn't even announce the codename of the system?

If they remake a Fire Emblem game, I think it will have three stories which are Sigurd's story, Seliph's story, and Leif's story.

@@kurtg5405 Yoshi's Crafted World ran out of stock and hasn't been re-printed; there's a chance Nintendo is preparing a port of Woolly World and not bothering making any more physical copies of Crafted World.

I think there will only be 2-3 remakes at most. Prime 2 is my only lock. I think some smaller new games will be shown. Also I wouldn't be surprised if we see Pokemon Z-A again.

this likely would be the direct with the rumored mp games and zelda games. Nintendo loves remakes and remasters to end console gens. at least that is what i noticed since i started watching gaming in general.
I really want wind waker, twilight princess, ocarina of time and Majora's mask on switch, I'd be happy with even just one of those 😭

If they want to seal the switch off as the best selling console of all time and obliterate the PlayStation 2 they will release some great remakes/remasters as a seal to their greatest system ever. If they have any steez what so ever this will be their move. I think it’s the only proper move

I'm definitely thinking that there's not really anymore 'new' titles for Switch from Nintendo themselves, and that they'll be relying on remasters and heavy 3rd-party support. Just hoping we still get Xenoblade Chronicles X and Wind Waker/Twilight Princess double pack announced!

Personally I think they only announced the direct to dampen expectations about it covering the next console.
Imagine if Sakurai appeared to announce both Kid Icarus Uprising and Kirby Air Ride Remastered
Sakurai has teased that "he would love to play Kid Icarus: Uprising on a big screen", this man is very used to how the internet takes his words, yet he decided to leave that tease in one of his videos. There are also 2 new studios in Bandai Namco dedicated to Nintendo games, and one of them is apparentley a remaster.
And speaking of Kirby Air Ride, I would prefer a new one; I love the old one, but I think the Switch could do so much more with that concept. New tracks, new rides, a way bigger online City Trial!

I think MP2 and 3 have been overhauled, explaining the long ass delay since MP1 remastered. Same for TP and WW. They’ve been sitting on these games far too long to justify just releasing ports. I think Xenoblade Chronicles X as a remaster is also likely since that would be the last major Wii U title besides TP and WW to not get brought to the Switch.

I'm not planning on buying Switch 2. Life doesn't allow for as much gaming anymore, so if I get these last few games before the console cycle ends, I will be a content man.

The only the only leaker we should take seriously is Pyroro an MP4 needs to come out for the current switch. It was promised for the current switch and the Nintendo should honour that and even if they move it to 2025 it should be for both the current switch and it’s successor like they did with breath of the wildwhy didn’t nobody considering this?
I’m keeping my expectations super low at this point. I’d be happy if they did more remasters but at this point I highly doubt it

I think what our problem is as gamers, is we want it all now. Nintendo will likely release most of these desired remakes/remasters, it will just take them a decade across the current and upcoming consoles. It’s better for them to do it that way, so that they have games to release between new titles, they’ve always taken their time and protected their Brand above all else, rarely do they do a quick cash grab ala super Mario 3d all stars, and that was a limited run. We can expect all of this, but only a little bit at a time.
I’d love some more remakes 😊. I never had a Wii or a Wii U and didn’t play all the good games on GameCube either bc we didn’t have internet so I didn’t know what was good 🙈😆

I would not count on a port or yet another remaster of Luigi's Mansion. Your analysis and prediction is relying heavily upon precedent, which Nintendo is known to buck all the time.
I don't mind GameCube ports as long as i'm interested in them like F-Zero GX. Never played that game so that would be a good opportunity .With 140+ million Switchers out there. It should be able to sell more than 2 million. I'm actually surprised that Pikimin 4 only managed to sell 3+ million copies with an install base of 140+ million.Clearly people are not interested in that series..Later
I think temper expectations. IMHO the reason Nintendo would tell everyone so early about these two events is because there isn't going to be much to talk about in the next direct. Clearly it's meant to fill space between then and the Switch successor, thus i highly doubt any big game will be released within that time and not be saved for the new console. Best case scenario I would say something like Silksong gets a release, but even then I think it would make little to no sense for Team Cherry to release that before the Switch successor releases at this point. Personally If I'm being honest I just want the new console to release. As great as the Switch is, it's time to move on, and I really don't care about any more remakes at this point.

I think that’s pretty likely eventually, Nintendo knows they can cash in on old games, they are just taking there time, because then they constantly have games to release between new games, we will be getting re releases of these older games for the whole Life of the next console. It’s just good business, those games are already made, they are a lower investment for Nintendo, and they can count on sales.
