A new MMBN would make me absolutely bonkers
I'm new to the series.. MMBN that is. Played the heck out of X, OG MM, Zero, and the short-lived Xtreme GBC X releases. But I've enjoyed what time I've spent with the MMBN collection for sure! I imagine if that does come out, it would probably release everywhere.
@@LateToGame When you’ve familiarized yourself a bit more, you also have Mega Man Network Transmission; an off-shoot of the original MMBN on Gamecube, mix of the old school 2D platform infused with changeable chip attacks.

As for the Direct, I don’t have any real wishes atm since I’m currently working on my backlog but I will forever hope for a new Mario & Luigi especially after SMRPG & PM got revisits.
I would love that. AlphaDream, the dev team behind that series, sadly went bankrupt in 2019. But that doesn't mean Nintendo can't bring it back with another team!

literally none of this is going to happen except maybe something prime related. nintendo isnt going to re-release windwaker and twilight princess for switch because they already did for wiiu. they've already updated the games (though exceedingly little) which is the only reason they did that in the first place aside from filling the gaps between releases. there are no release gaps for switch, there is zero chance nintendo will release the same game again and again on every system they release.
lol not sure if serious with this comment. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD will absolutely be released on either the Switch or Switch 2.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse getting ported instead of Star Fox Zero when there's already a million Kirby games on Switch would be the ultimate slap in the face
I was talking to a friend the other day about star fox zero. I do think there's a chance they bring that to the switch as well, with some updates control schemes. It would be a nice one!
I really wish Nintendo with do a game like Mario 3D All Stars with games from N64, GameCube, and Wii for Zelda. They could do Ocarina of Time for N64, Wind Waker for GameCube, and Twilight Princess for Wii.
That would a nice one! I'd imagine they'd have to add some additional features - like, 4K uprez, etc, to make it a worthwhile buy vs just playing the current N64 games on NSO. That being said... Zelda is my favorite franchise, so, I'd pre-order day 1 haha.
The only similar thing I could think of was the Collector's Edition promo desk they gave out on the GameCube. It had The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, Ocarina Master Quest, and Majora's Mask. That was a great one!
@@LateToGame honestly same, the second I heard that any of those Zelda games are coming to the Switch im instantly pre-ordering. Also if they had to make features like that to make it worth while it honestly just sounds like the perfect game to come out along side the Switch 2

I think they announced they were done adding new content, but that doesn't mean the Mario Kart bundle won't sell gang busters this coming holiday season haha. I still need to play all of that content. We should do some Mario Kart nights in the discord!

Agreed. I'm still not sure about 4. The video I posted before this one on Switch 2 Launch Lineup suggests if we don't see Prime 4 at this E3 window, it's probably launching on the next hardware.

I am huge Metroid fan so hoping for some Metroid news. One game i would love to see but will probably never Mario's NFL football. That would be allot of fun.
Mario NFL would be cool! I wonder if it would ever happen given the limited appearance of the sport outside of the US!
I just want the new switch to have better performance. The latest DBZ budokai looks really good and unfortunately it won't be on the switch, prolly because it lacks power. To be able to play games that only the other console can enjoy is a really significant step up for nintendo, no more cloud BS.
100% agree - based on the recent specs (I did a video on it about a week ago) it seems like we're going to get a device that, from raw power standards sits between the PS4 Pro, and Xbox Series S... but with a good bit more ram.. and... the magic of DLSS Machine Acceleration. Basically, it will be punching way above it's weight class. And we should expect to see all the games that skipped to switch, to hit it natively.
I really want that Kirby game. I never got to finish it. I want all the ports. Metroid and Zelda would be great. I'm excited.

2024 could possibly be the year of Mario, so far we have gotten Mario Vs Donkey Kong Remake and Princess Peach Showtime, we have two upcoming games being Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door Remake and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Remaster. A new Mario Party game is rumored to release due to some codes getting leaked. I have a good feeling that we might get Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 sense there has been a game every four years in the series since the series began back when Beijing 2008 released, we might also get some more remakes. Its just so much that could happen, what do you think?
You're right - as much as we can read the leaves and see which ways the wind is blowing, there's also just a ton that Nintendo might just surprise us with.
I do think another Olympics Game port is a no brainer for sure. A new Mario Party would be neat as well! I would personally love to see a new Star Fox or something like that, out of the blue.

I for one am not planning on getting a Switch 2. As I've gotten older my time for games has gone down. So unlike many of the other people in the comments, I'm very excited at the possibility of getting a few more Remakes/remasters as a swan song to the Switch. I'd love Metroid Prime 2+3, Pokémon B&W, Wind Waker, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. I grew up on these titles and would love to touch on them one more time before stepping away from Nintendo for awhile. 😊
I greatly respect this and understand. As I've gotten older, and now have a wife, kid, and own a few companies on top of other work... haha.. I love the good and joy and games can bring, but it's best to keep a healthy balance with what they can ultimately be for you in the end.
In practical terms, this results in me having less consoles, and making sure I maximize the time with my wife and baby boy as much as possible.
But what I do appreciate about the Switch, and Nintendo in general, is that I see what I'm enjoying, and know I can enjoy with my family as well.

Pretty sure they’ve done it before though. Maybe they wouldn’t do it now though.
Grubb said that 'marketing assets' for Prime 4 would be sent in by May. That doesn't sound like a marketing campaign is close. If Prime 4 is coming in the next year or so, Prime 2/3 aren't happening, or at the very least, will be very disappointing from what we got with 1, and typical for how Nintendo treats Metroid.
I would disagree. I used to be a brand manager. If assets are being sent out by May, that would indicate that some type of activation would be seen soon after.
Especially given the secretive nature around the industry, the less time between assets being received, and the announcement, the better.
I still think prime 2/3 could easily act as a buffer to generate some more excitement as well. But we will see! Thanks for watching!

Yeah! Assets would be any type of material designed and made specifically for a marketing plan. We're talking flyers, digital e-commerce copy and images, anything that all the stores will and could incorporate.
But it's all based on whats being suggested.

Still think their announcement will be like the successor will be avail 2027 giving Switch 10yr run. The tweet didnt say they will reveal the successor just an announcement regarding it. We'll wait and see
Fair enough. I think I read some reports that they've been aiming for a short turn around time between announcement to market for devices of late. Which is what happened with the Switch.
But we both know they'll be pushing the OG switch for as long as it keeps printing money 😂

I'm definitely not against that at all. I'm just curious about Nintendo's desire to do that series since Capcom had a big hand in them... But that's not reason enough for it not to happen.
And we know Capcom and Nintendo are pretty close. Either way, it would be great to see another game in the style of that Link's Awakening remake!

@LateToGame oh yes loved Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2. Definitely picking up Monster Hunter Stories HD this summer. Think currently MH is Capcoms bread and butter currently

I personally have never played either Xenoblade or fire emblem and have very little interest in either but maybe Zelda game and any new games might be saved for a new system
If you like RPGs or Tactics game they're definitely worth checking out! Otherwise, probably not your speed. But yeah, give me Zelda, and I'm a happy guy.
@@LateToGame Thanks for the advice the other discouraging part is how long are these games? Sometimes I don't want to start a very long game or sometimes I just want to play the action part not wander around needlessly or a long story, just get to the action and fun!
This is all true-I enjoy games I can easily jump into and out of. While I objectively appreciate the complexity of some of the brilliant open-world games, folks like you and me... while... it's hard for those games to respect our times. I often play one of those games, finish it, and then can't start another one for quite a long time.
I do think AAA publishing is seeing a shift. These giant, expensive games aren't sustainable in terms of how many there are-quite frankly, many are too long. As things shift, smaller, more innovative games will most likely rise to the top.
Less is often more.
I'll add, I do think a game like Xenoblade, that is quite big, does priortizie the action part a lot. Which I think leads to a great flow of systems and designs. If the story is good alongside the ride, I'm a happy guy haha

Definitely not excited for anything switch my announce for this year. They will definitely go for titles like Zelda remaster, Metroid prime 2, and Kirby.
If Zelda wind waker will be sold separately then I might get it.
Also if Nintendo releases f zero gx remaster.
A game I would buy on day one super underrated would be a custom robo GameCube port on switch.

And while I used a twin pack box set for the potential Zelda ports on the thumbnail, I do think they'll be sold separately. Wind Waker is still a GOAT in my eyes.
And overall, it's def the swan song for the Switch. So they'll be trying to generate as much excitement as they can, while still ensuring the Switch 2 launches with some truly exciting new games!
@@LateToGame I hope so honestly last year felt like a swan song for the switch after tears of the kingdom and Mario wonder. But yes this year will be officially the swan song.

I do think we'll see some new IPs soon, or at least at the launch of the next piece of hardware. Did you try out Arms? Was disappointed in that one. But they might innovate on it more.
@@LateToGame arms was too simplistic of a game I really didnt like it. But yeah Nintendo is in a bad spot till switch 2. If they only show the normal junk (remasters of old games) and indies it's not gonna go well. If they bring out more things like Mario kart dlc or animal crossing dlc or surprise us with something good then maybe. Otherwise yeah switch is dead for now
