Forgotten Land was such a surprise, game is the most ambitious Kirby yet and the missions add a ton of replay value.
I bought that for my kids and wound up playing a ton of co-op with them. Such a fun game.
Better be windwaker remaster there
Kid Icarus Uprising needs a second chance. It's an amazing experience that would shine with updated visuals and controls.
@m.m.m.6151 Why would Nintendo sink a ton of money into a NEW KIU if the first one sold mediocre at best? At least the original being remade would save them on production in order to get a sequel green lit. I'd love a sequel too, but let's think pragmatically about how the company would approach the KI franchise at this point.

I’d look forward to a remake of my favorite Nintendo game ever, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. My favorite Nintendo character made her debut in that game.
It'd be so stupid if they didn't do an HD remaster of Prime 2 and 3 at this point. Otherwise what was even the point of doing it with Prime 1?
The Direct will start off with Shunturo announcing "We Lied!" And they show nothing but Switch 2 info.
Thankfully Nintendo is run by professionals who know how to make a company successful, so this won't happen.
@andrewshatalin9666 they do keep the goods to their chest. Not all of their decisions are the best though.
@@joeb2588 under current management they have a bestselling console in history with a record breaking number of software sales. Frankly they are doing things extremely right as far as management goes.

I think we need a 2d Zelda compilation and a 3d Zelda compilation and Metroid prime 4. Those would be big heavy hitters yet to come for the switch. Kid Icarus uprising remaster would be a nice bonus too
I think the big remakes are going to actually release on Switch 2, if the successor is infact an iteration of the switch I think they will remake way more bc one of the huge things about the switch is how it’s the biggest Nintendo library ever, Smash Ultimate was about every single old character being on there, Mario Kart 8 dlc has been like 90% old tracks, NSO expansion is entirely about old games added to the switch easily, and there have been so many more huge remakes and remasters and everything, all the Pikmin games, all the Zelda games etc
They didn't say there'll be a BIG Nintendo Direct in June, only that there will be one (as per usual).
June Directs are big ones....

@@vgnvideogameninja2930 They never do? It's not a big one as in like it being 40 minutes long....it's big as in it's the first general direct since last September. 3/4 of a year has past since the last one lol.
My June predictions:
- A crossover game featuring lots of original Jetix characters (probably Kingdom Hearts IV or something else)
- New version of Tomodachi Life, with a wild Mii maker (much like in Miitopia)
- New Mario Party with the addition of Geno, Vivian and Pauline
- Duelverse, the first fighting game featuring various duelists from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe
- An enhanced port of Mario Sports Mix, now with the addition of Geno, Mallow and a few others who didn't make it in the original
- An action-oriented game centered on Geno (same treatment as Snufkin, but with combat)
- Mario and Sonic in Paris
Luigis Mansion 2 is going to be so sweet! I hope that we'll see something with gameplay on MP4. I'd put money down on Metroid Zero Mission being announced for NSO for the direct and we might get a Shadow Drop of Metroid Prime 2 and 3 but without the same treatment as the remaster.

I think the first two years of Switch 2 are going to see 3DS/Wii U/Wii/GameCube remakes/remasters released on "The Switch Family," with Switch 2 running 60fps and Switch/OLED/Literally running 30fps.

I think it's perfectly possible for a Metroid Prime double pack is possible if they're only basic remasters.

OJ I love all of your predictions for games we can see at the June Direct. I hope many of them are true! The Switch games I would say that we can possibly see announced in the Direct are a StarFox game, a Rhythm Heaven game, a 2D Zelda remake, and some other 3DS games like Ever Oasis and Pushmo.
My dream games would be a Chrono Trigger remake either HD2D or 3D like trials of mana, a total 3D remake of Zeldaminish cap in a windwaker style, ports of planet robobot and kid icarus would be amazing.
Where tf are the two upcoming dragon quest games. It’s been like 3 years
A new Mario & Sonic game seems likely. I heard something about a new "Warriors" title game (Which Xenoblade Warriors would be awesome, but the Imprisoning War seems most likely). I really hope for a Geneology of the Holy War remake, what I'd like to see on standard Switch before the next gen console more than anything. Metroid Prime 4, while it could happen, I sort of pretty much expect them to wait for next gen and that it would likely be a cross platform thing. But Metroid Prime 2+3 package in the style of Pikmin 1+2 also sounds likely. There's a new Wii U port rumored that is a cult classic (Though I'd also like to see Xenoblade Chronicles X ported over with a DLC expansion similar to Torna the Golden Country or Future Connected).
Don't think Gamecube would be added to expansion anytime soon or at best it could be on next gen. But more 3DS and Wii U ports all do sound like great ideas. As well as more remakes of older titles from NES, SNES, GB/GBC eras.
I would be ok if we didn't see any Prime 4 news, but give us Prime 2 and maybe 3 remastered!
Also we need Kirby Superstar Ultra brought to switch, and a remastered version of Kirby Air ride

Nintendo couldn't care less if they surpass the PS2 or not, they only compare themselves with themselves, this is a known fact for decades and confirmed by Kit and Krysta who worked there for years on their channel just yesterday. But hey, you do you and create your own reality if it makes you happy lol

I think it's the same on Sony's side. They don't really care if Nintendo breaks past their decade plus record. Yeah I know people will bring up the Jim Ryan quote, but keep in mind he was speaking off the cuff in a podcast and probably rounded up from somewhere around 157 million. He's an old man, ready for retirement, I can bet he literally doesn't care about the Switch outselling PS2 like all the fanboys do. More important things he has to think about.

@@JCSA79V Sony definitely cares. They came back at the end of the PS3 generation and updated their PS2 numbers after the Nintendo DS beat their previous numbers... and now they've done it again with the Switch set to beat them soon.
@bethanyh1637 They updated their PS2 figures at the end of the PS3 generation because they were still producing and selling them at that time. There's a year gap between when they last updated them officially and when they ceased production also, so it's possible that they gained another million or two past 155.

Hey, if it's not just Nintendo Switch games that they're going to reveal, maybe they'll reveal more information about that Legend of Zelda movie, or that Mario movie sequel. Or they could reveal an expansion of Super Nintendo World, or Zelda and Pokémon themed areas in other Universal theme parks. Or perhaps they might even set an opening date for the Nintendo Museum. I don't know, could they show us a preview for a television series that takes place after "The Super Mario Bros. Movie? I would like that. Heck, I could even go for a preview of Mario being set to make his debut in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as an all-new giant character balloon. He would definitely be sponsored by Nintendo and most likely be the lead balloon. One thing's for certain, they're not going to reveal the next Nintendo console anytime soon.
Xenoblade Chronicles X could get a port, or Monolith's new mystery game, as it's been years since we saw that concept art....
Could end up being a really strong year for the tired old boy (Switch). 💪

How is Mario & Luigi not a rumor?
They could add Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear, Turbografx-16, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Sega Saturn or Sega Dreamcast to the Switch online expansion pack very easily. Gamecube will never be on NSO. That library is too amazing, people will still pay top dollar for those games.
They will never add all those.

I just hope Prime 4 will atleast sell as much as Kirby and The Forgotten Land though considering how well Dread and the Prime 1 Remaster sold, will be lucky it reaches 4 million.

I want to see Prime 4 as much as any Metroid fan, but Prime 4 wont be in the Direct. At best we might have Tanabe show up and give an update, saying "Hey it's been quite a while since I last spoke to you all about Metroid Prime 4. Well I can't show it to you today, but I do want to say it's going to be shown by the end of the year. But in the mean time, to help with the wait, take a look at this." And then we see Prime 2 remastered.

I'm buying Luigi's Mansion 2 day 1 I'm actually surprised I never got around to playing it.
I still remember back when the Switch came out people scoffed at the idea of it outselling the PS4. Now look where we are.

I'm looking forward to this Nintendo direct in mid June I'm excited. I'm hoping that we will finally get the release date for wind waker HD and twilight princess HD as a duo pack we've been waiting for these games to come for a long time. So please Nintendo give us these games this year hopefully this upcoming direct will give us good news for these games. Then next year hopefully we'll get Ocarina of time and majoras mask for the switch as well. Now for the switch 2 I might get it all depends on how much storage and battery life of course that's me. But mostly for me is the price. Anyway come on June direct give us good news for wind waker HD and twilight princess HD to come out this year.

I mean if you look the games Mihoyo released recently it's safe to say Sony paid Mihoyo to keep their games as Playstation console exclusives. Heck Honkai starrail and Zeneless zone zero have been featured on state of play before.
