Do you think that the 80 ohm version will sound too quiet on a laptop? The velour pads on the 80 ohm version seem more comfortable than the ones on the 32 ohm one and I wanna use the headphones for long periods of time.
Yes, the 80 ohm is too quiet if you put them directly into your laptop/phone trust me I've tried :/ And yes, I have both, and can confirm that the pads on the 80 ohm are more comfortable ! So your best bet, if you really want that comfort and studio quality, would be to have at least a soundcard where you could plug in the 80 ohm.
Bro im so conflicted between the 32 ohm and 80 ohm of these headphones. My goal is to get some quality headphones to plug directly into my macbook, no amp, to produce phonk and trap beats. What is best for that out of the 2 🙏? Edit ok now 2:45 in and you answered that directly. 32ohm it is! But im also still seeing reviews of people saying the 80ohm sound quality is better. But i guess if im just using these for a smart phone and macbook then i should get 32ohm for sure?
I personaly use the 32 ohm and if you want to use it on a mac or directly into your phone then yes, you have to go for the 32 ohm. But if you want to make more of a studio setup and buy an audio interface, then you should definitly go for the 80 ohm.
@@SvenDesigns okay thank u. 1 more question please, what would be the main downsides of producing with the 32 as opposed to 80? Is producing with the 32 directly into my mac worth it?
Honestly the difference is not that huge. I've had both, and in terms of the 80 ohm it is more comfortable for hours on end on your head, and the quality, if you put it in an audio interface ofcourse, is slightly better. But if you want to mix and master your project with the 32 ohm directly into your mac, that definitly gets the job done aswell !@@ghostfrieza2904
If you directly plug in the 32ohm headset into your pc it is definitly possible. But if you use a soundcart, mixer, ... You should definitly get a 80ohm or 250ohm !
Beyerdynamic put the money where it matters in a very utilitarian way. They don't focus so much to look high-end per se, it just has to sound great and be very durable. There are great reasons why the DT770 Pro headphones are a staple in recording studios. They sound fantastic, are well isolated and they just don't break. I had a musician in my studio that got frustrated laying down his bass guitar track, because he couldn't get it right. At one point he just threw a DT770 Pro against the wall as hard as he could. 10 minutes later he picked up the headphones and tried again with no problems. These things just last and last and keep sounding really great. (That musician was totally not me 🙃, but headphones are typically things that break often in a music recording studio)

You can buy velour pads.
@@kevingarywilkes Exactly, that too !

Are these the best sounding headphones at the price cause I’m in the market and want good sound for around this price
They're probably other ones at that price/quality
But most importantly you need to know what you are going to use it for
Hi are these good for large ears ?
They are yes :)
Is 32 ohm good for music production?
If you directly plug in the 32ohm headset into your pc it is definitly possible.

@@SvenDesignsim planing to buy dt770 pro for music production so do you prefer buying 80ohms with an amp or only just 32ohms???
Depends, are you going to use a mixer or soundcart ?
@@SvenDesigns Would the 32 ohm sound "worse" compared to the higher ohm versions when used with a proper amp or audio interface?
Those headphones don't really look high-end, but I guess that they are better than they look judging from your feedback! 👌
Yeah I've had them for a while, so they look a bit worn
But it's a good brand and quality headphones :)
@@SvenDesigns That is good to know! :D
