It was probably the best time the bears ever had and when the babies grow up they'll have a sweet memory of Mommy and siblings.

She's a housewife; she is not the one who will be begging her boss for overtime, so that she can pay to have the pool drained, hauled to the junkyard, the electrical fixed, the bear poop picked up, the toys replaced, and forget about a new pool, as the fence around the property will need to be patched, and probably replaced with higher, stronger fencing.

Since COVID, a ton of animals have made what seems to be a “comeback” around this area! I live in southern CT. Soooo many more bobcats, fox, deer, and even bears! Tons of bears, constantly see posts on my ring neighbors app, community forums, and not dangerous or threatening either. It’s nice. There’s very heavily wooded areas all throughout CT, Mass, NY, and NJ. A lot of people only hear about the busy cities though!

The most unusual aspect of this whole encounter- 5 cubs from one mom- the most cubs I ever seen from one mom. To even have them all survive, and be so healthy-rambunctious like this, is quite an accomplishment- great momma bear. I think the human mother really appreciates that

They literally look like kids at a water park. One of my favorite parts is when mama bear said it was time to go, the cubs didn't even hesitate to follow, definitely a good mama.
Side note: "i wish the bears were in someone else's yard" might want to teach the little one not to wish whatever difficulties onto someone else but rather have the strength and wisdom to be able to deal with what you're going through head on. 💪🏽

Yeah, but one should never let bears get comfortable lurking near their house. I would've scared that bear off. We had a brown bear shot a while ago after it broke into a hunter's home at night. Bears will war with human villages if they want a home. I do feel sympathetic that they run out of places to walk, but they're still extremely dangerous and should learn to never mess with humans like the bears here

I’ve seen rabbits, foxes, deer, raccoons, skunks, and they’re all having fun here. Think my neighbors cat killed a rabbit once, but otherwise the place is just a haven for animals and humans alike.

@@_.jawaii._ it’s not that common for a mama bear to decide to raise all of her new borns. Most of the time she chooses 1-3 to keep and leave the rest to die. (It’s a struggle just to care for themself as it is)

If I could give this 100 likes I would. I understand the little girl expecting the bears to buy her a new one. It's adorable. How often have we, as adults seen this sign for us? That You break it, you buy it! I know a fantastic set up like thid is expensive so if I were the parents I skipp Starbucks for a couple of weeks and secretly replace the pool( if necessary. There may not be any damage or maybe just replace the liner) Add a note that says thank you___her name___to make it special. I just love these bears. They're not just taking a dip. They're actually swimming and having fun fun. Worth every penny of the cost of the pool. You'll never see that again. Thanks so much for sharing this fun loving video
