kind man probably just got this bear killed. leaving the door open on purpose to allow the bear to re enter at approximately 1:20 in the video - would be a crime in some places, to encourage wild animals to interact with human civilization. This bear will be hunted and either relocated or most likely killed in an effort by wildlife authorities to prevent this from happening again, or the bear teaching other bears the necessities of entering a 7-11.

A projectile would make him run away fast. Throwing a can of soda - this works with dogs too. 1) they feel the sting of the impact 2) and they do not know where it came from 3) that spooks them and invokes their "Flight" instinct (you know, 'fight or flight' instincts) I was walking up a small hill in an upscale neighborhood in the hills in California. One of my neighbors was cowering behind the bushes - in her own front yard! "What are you doing?" I asked her. "There's a big dog!" I was still walking up the hill. As soon as I crested the top of hill, sure enough, there was a pretty large what appeared to be a Pitbull-Rottweiler mix. i understood immediately why my neighbor was hiding behind her hedges - the dog, upon seeing me, started advancing and it was obvious the dang thing was not a friendly dog. Not a Golden Retriever. I was exposed, nowhere to run, I did not fancy trying to outrun it. "What am I going to do here?" I thought. Picked up some of the small rocks on the road. I nailed that freaking dog right in the head with one. It got out of there fast. Gone in seconds. Attacking me would not have solved its problem, I was still too far away for the dog to think I was a physical threat. It could not associate that pain it received with me, I was not close enough to it. That spooked it. Unless the animal is injured or has rabies, it you hurl projectiles from a distance, it will retreat. Projectiles that inflict pain, it's too hard for an animal to figure out and make the connection where the projectile came from. Same is true with projectiles from a rifle. A can of Pepsi on the forehead would have made that bear retreat out of the store.

Best part is the clerk laughing every time he takes one. This is Quiet Quitting taken to new depths. Schadenfreude in having to tell his boss that a bear took it, nothing can be done.
He's looking around as he eats the donuts like "this place is pretty cool, I should come more often." 😂 Then later when the guy's yelling at him he was looking at him and thinking "ya know, I haven't even started to work on my Yelp review yet, but I think you just lost yourself a star ⭐"
That bear knew that he could sit in front of the door to keep it open while he ate his snacks. 🐻🐾 They are smart. That was funny to watch, but also scary at the Sametime.
This bear is obviously a regular customer. The guy is way too calm. Side note: the guy saying I’m an alpha man but then saying you could kill me in 10 seconds.😂😂😂😂😂😂
In Key Largo, FL, I worked at a large dive shop that had a retail store with clothes, gear and snacks. Every morning we'd come in to find toothmarks on the candy bar and cracker wrappers, and some partially eaten.... overnight RATS...so, we of course would throw them away. I didn't want the owner to think the missing snacks were from us workers eating them, so on the customer list I created an account with the name "Mr. Rat." I'd charge him for the goods he ate. One day the owner was looking through the accounts and yelled out "Who's this Mr. Rat?" and I explained. He was really mad (since it made him admit we had a rat problem), and he made me delete the account.
That was incredible. I know animals are intelligent but these bears really can handle themselves like a human in many ways, especially the sense it has of being cornered. Amazing how it can switch from a wild animal to a quiet one & at the end even prevent the shelf from falling over.
I've noticed the same thing in many bear videoes, they have a great understanding of the physical world, how doors works, how things balance etc. There's one where the bear busts a cabin door in and he casually puts his paw up to stop it bouncing back at him.
Bears that associate places that people inhabit with food, usually get killed. This one that knows that food comes in sealed bags is sadly on borrowed time.
This is a dangerous animal now and needs to be either relocated very far from humans or put down. I say this as someone who gave up meat at age 6 when I found out what meat was made out of, who rescues cats, who picks up dying animals on the side of the road and brings them to the emergency vet or at least gives them a quiet place in my home to pass on... This isn't safe or cute.

Well cherry bombs and M 80s are illegal in California and the other 49. If humans can come in help themselves and leave. So can bears. In case your are wondering what a M80 is. It is a firecracker made with 80 grains of black powder. Cherry bomb is around 40 grains. BUT the US government in it's immense wisdom as classified them as an explosive device. Comes in kinda handy when you don't want to shoot a animal. Make about the same noise as a 12 gauge or a 44.

kind man probably just got this bear killed. leaving the door open on purpose to allow the bear to re enter at approximately 1:20 in the video - would be a crime in some places, to encourage wild animals to interact with human civilization. This bear will be hunted and either relocated or most likely killed in an effort by wildlife authorities to prevent this from happening again, or the bear teaching other bears the necessities of entering a 7-11.
Its so cool how selective the bear is- going for a box of milk duds, bags of chips , and how he took everything outside to eat it 😂

A projectile would make him run away fast. Throwing a can of soda - this works with dogs too.
1) they feel the sting of the impact
2) and they do not know where it came from
3) that spooks them and invokes their "Flight" instinct (you know, 'fight or flight' instincts)
I was walking up a small hill in an upscale neighborhood in the hills in California.

Next time, he's showing up with a shotgun and a buddy...it's California, after all.
when opening the snacks, the bear doesn't just chew through the wrappers either. look how it opens the chips at 1:10
