Wow! I watched 4 videos of how to spruce up canned collard greens and this is the only instructional video that included step by step instructions w/ ingredient measurements albeit with fresh greens. Simple, succinct, and detailed! Would love to see a video on canned collard greens as a short cut!
Stacey, I followed your recipe and the greens were delicious! I have been eating them every day. I can't wait to go to Walmart this weekend to buy more. Thank you sooo much!
I really appreciate seeing the measurements of the ingredients that you use. That is extremely important when you are teaching others how to prepare a dish. Thank you so much for doing that.
I made this yesterday and it was so good. I will use a small hammock instead of bacon next time. What about adding a type of nut, i.e. walnuts, pine nuts, etc.? In other words, if you were to add nuts what kind would you add? Thanks for the videos.😋
I've been growing collards for years and cooking them in boiling water with ham or bacon. But this looks fabulous and I am going to try this out soon. So thanks for this video.
I made this yesterday thank you for posting it because my husband brought it collard greens home and I never made it before, I didn't grow up eating it so I didn't know how to cook it. Thank you for posting it. I'm going to make it just like this every time!💗💗

Thank you Stacy, I have never tried collard greens before, as I write I am following your recipe but minus the sugar because I am diabetic, it looks good and I'm sure it will be.
Great!! I'm happy they came out bomb, the sugar is always optional not everyone will put it in there😊..but thank you so much for your comment. Stay healthy and stay safe.

I like this easy way to make collard greens .
Leave out the sugar add 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream ,almost like Zuppa Toscana with out the Italian sausage.

Putting the recipe to use on Friday night with my catfish Nuggets
Do I cook it on high?
No med to low heat
@@staceystyles4048 thank you very much
@@staceystyles4048all the way through it's medium to low heat?
I would cook it on med to low heat so that it will not dry out too fast without cooking
What is the song in the background?
I gotta say I tried this and it came out really bomb I didn't like the sugar n the greens tho
Great!! I'm happy they came out bomb, the sugar is always optional not everyone will put it in there😊..but thank you so much for your comment. Stay healthy and stay safe.
Hour and a half???
Yes...I cooked mine on low heat but if cooked on med-low it can reduce the time...it is all up to you.😊
