You don't need a lot of water to cook the greens. I use a forth of a boiler and allow the water inside the greens to finish with the moisture needed to cook the greens quicker.
@@dawnmatthew7933 I hae given it some thought and watching the other shows has given me a good frame work for doing it in a manner that is less annoying. I'm thinking about it. Why do you ask that question?
Another thing I think about when cooking greens, is to learn to not necessarily use meat, because I would like to enjoy the natural taste of the greens, by using jalapeno pepper, vinegar, one or two chicken bullion cubes, two tablespoons of sugar to take the bitterness away from the greens, and butter. It magnifies the natural and wonderful taste of the greens themselves.
We love collards and cook them at least once a month. I’m going to give your recipe a try, we don’t use ham hocks but I’ll use your exact recipe. Those greens look delicious. Thank you

Never liked collards, but love mustard and turnip greens!
I put noodles in it to. With the bacon and little grease. I enjoyed your recipe. Thank you.
@@ToniJordan-z8m you put noodles in greens??
I would like to see how you clean your greens. You do the best job of cutting them.
Looks delicious and cooked perfectly the recipe is spot on.❤
Thank You so so much 🥰
You don't need a lot of water to cook the greens. I use a forth of a boiler and allow the water inside the greens to finish with the moisture needed to cook the greens quicker.
My mama did too, but then there isn’t enough broth for all to enjoy😢
There is enough broth is you put some of the stalks in the greens, which holds most of the water.
Welĺ y don't U consider having your own cooking show??
Thank you
