I'm so sorry to hear this Eric. Here in my area there is a CRAZY boom going on, and it's put a lot of small shops out on the streets (unfortunately that's how I got a smoking hot deal on my 2 post lift). Companies are coming in and dropping 4-5year pre-paid leases down on commercial shop space and landlords are actually getting more than asking prices. The guy I got that lift from was hit with a Rent increase, but bellied up with a a 2 year (pre-pay), but 2 other companies wanted it and started a bidding war over it. It's CRAZY what is going on here right now. Good luck in all this man. I really hope it doesn't get you down.
I really don't want to sound like the "dirty local" Idahoan but it's the mega corporations moving/being pushed out of CA. Amazon & FedEx are putting in 2 mega warehouses in s.e. ID and all the smaller sub-contractor businesses that go along with that are sprouting up all around them. That shop my friend lost, its in an industrial park in Rigby that has 10 separate 4 bay shops and a string of storage units on the other side. The company that got the lease on it kicked everyone out (including the storage units) and are going to use the whole complex for cardboard boxes & packaging to sale to Amazon. 2 years ago we where number 3 in the nation for most affordable housing, now we are number 1 in the nation for most overpriced housing. It's beyond crazy.

I had a landlord for a house I was living at for years say out of the blue, just like how you described, "when can you leave, when can you be gone". Years of being a helpful, clean tenant meant nothing in the end.
Like he said. It's business. Imagine you're renting out a house and you either need money and need to liquidate to get out of a big bind (say losing your current house or medical bills) or you have family that's losing their place and you're offering your other home. You gotta take care of YOUR problems and YOUR family. If you don't want to be in a situation like that whether it's your house or business, you gotta own the building. Obviously that's never easy. I had an escape clause on a lease with a 90 day notice . The landlord decided to sit on his hands and just hand me his lawyers letter telling me to be out in 90 days . I ended up in a storage warehouse with multiple units . Lucky it works for me . I don't know if you can comb the area to find a place , possibly not advertised . Good luck with your move. See you when it is all back to normal.
Thank You for all you do , We will wait, Good Luck & God Bless!
Thank you!
Eric, I hope you find a better place soon. I watched your video on renting or buying and was convinced that renting is the way to go, at least starting out. I have been thinking about starting an auto repair business and I find your input very valuable. Stay strong and and take care of business. We will be here when you come back.
ERIC OUR THOUGHTS AND BLESSINGS ARE OF YOU, STAY AWESOME, YOUR A SMART FELLA .
Sending you positive vibes Dude! I shall maintain my loyalty to both channels.
Sometimes someone may be thinking of downsizing and just asking makes them decide . A free wanted ad on Craigslist is a possibility . But moving SUCKS . I've done it 3X . Good Luck .
I need to move too it’s a blessing in disguise.will be here when you come back.
No problem, take care of yourself and we will catch up with you when you are back online.
Very sorry man! Please keep going in some capacity no matter what!
Sorry to hear your situation sounds like a bummer. I hope all works out. ☺
Good luck Eric, sorry for the frustrating position you are in. I don't live any where near you but sure you could find local fans if you extra lifting power, once you find the destination of course. Fingers crossed!
Do you have land? If so get it going from there. Best of luck to you hope you find your new path and adventure.
Thanks for the update Eric and yes hang in there better things are coming your way.And yes we will be here when you return we ain't going anywhere.
Do what you gotta to do man. I’ll be here when your back up and running. Can’t wait to see what you got coming up!
You’re right that it’s just business, sucks man I hope you get a place squared away swiftly. Till your next video!
I am sorry the real estate system led to this situation. Dealing with the same thing with purchasing a home. I know you stated it is just business, but it doesn’t make it less stressful
Exactly. When I'm told "don't take it personally" I've noticed it's never when someone does something kind and thoughtful.
Eric,
I’m so sorry about your situation. Even though I am from NY, I have connections with people in the transportation industry(coach buses, shuttle buses, etc.) I know it may not help but if anything is needed like that don’t hesitate to reach out. Also, since you probably know this as well, I would check out loop net. They have a wide variety of places that I’ve seen on their.
Very sorry to hear of your plight. Shit happens with increasing regularity.
Good Luck.
In a previous reply, you said you didn't need to charge family. Well, in this reality, money apparently does make a difference. Make and save as best you can, so you can have better control of your destiny. This current situation does suck big time and I hope you come out of it with a better deal than before.
I've been saving for more than a year for this. As I mentioned in the video, I also planned for this eventuality, if I haded't, the new place would not even be a possibility. Money isn't the issue here, it's available space. Thanks for the comment.
@@ETCG1 I wish I could help you find, or build your own shop. You deserve it as an honest and articulate guy. Best always!
Do what you gotta do Eric! We can wait for videos! You focus on securing you a shop with what you need! You focus on you right now eric! We need you in a shop that you love with plenty of room to work and you're happy with, we can wait on the videos until then! Stay dirty Eric!
Good luck with the hunt, Eric. We’ll still be here when you post!
Eric you're my favorite TH-cam mechanic. Hang in there, you'll figure it out like you've always done in your videos! God bless! ❤
Thank you!
Sorry to hear about your problems, that really sucks, but, it’ll probably work out good for you in the long run

I'm sorry your plans were up-ended, Eric. I can only imagine how aggravating the situation is rn. **sending good vibes** It's a scramble but you'll make it work!
😑 Oh Eric, what a situation that has been thrown at you. So very sorry for the disappointment over the timing and switcharoo... Hope you have enough people you can call on to help you relocate. We are all pulling for you Eric!
You got this bro! Great words of wisdom on business ! Nothing personal right. I have been watching your vids when you were in that little dark shop. Your an inspiration!!!
Hang in there Eric! You're going to be fine. Just focus on the problem. There's always a solution. Look forward to seeing some more of your videos in the new place
Eric, sorry about the situation, I wish you well !
Life can be unpredictable at best; take care of yourself first and I'll be waiting for the new videos patiently.
Eric, packing up your work space and moving into your new place is definitely an interesting video. I don’t know if you’ve seen the rest of TH-cam but cleaning automotive garages is sort of popular. I’m sure that there will be enough interest to validate your time spent to make the video
hey man hoping smoother days for you soon, came across ur channel and enjoyed the help for my 04 civic a while ago.
Good luck with the place. I will be here when you return to producing videos again.
