  • In this video I show the process behind the scenes of what goes into mounting up a pair of 195/45R16 tires onto a pair of 16x10J BBS RS wheels. The wheels and tires were brought to me already mounted but not seated, I show why it's not as simple as just blasting them with the bead blaster.

Really great work!👌I might have missed, but what tires are those?
Besides that, I'm all for the stretch life, but this doesn't look/feel safe. But hey customer needs..

Much appreciated! Don't remember the tires, but they were some no name brand most likely.
As for the amount of stretch, we totally agree. Way to aggressive, and we let the customer know it should only be used for show purposes really and shouldn't be driven on.

Why did you not use the fire for light explosion to stretch the tire

On smaller tires using flame is not good because the tire doesn’t have much space inside and will cause it to explode lol, in my shop we use the cheetah

The most effective way to get The best stretch" is too put Two" ADJUSTIBAL STRAPS ON THE CORNERS JUST OUTSIDE THE MIDDLE OF THE TIRE" THE TIGHTEN DOWN..THE QUICK BURST OF AIR WILL PUSH THE CORNERS OUT TO THE ENDS/ OR BEADS OF THE RIM" THEN TO FINISH THE STRETCH" DROP THE RIM ON THE GROUND AS IF YOU ARE BUNCHING A BALL" THE ONLY OTHER WAY TO HAVE GOTTEN A BETTER STRETCH" IS TO GO WITH A 205 - 50.... INSTEAD OF A 195 - 45....THAT WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU A MUCH BETTER RESULTS" WE HAVE A CHART" AND EXAMPLES" AFTER AWHILE...IT NARROW IT DOWN TO A SCIENCE...AND NOT GUESS WORK" IN THE END ADJUST YOUR SHOCKS UP A TURN OR TWO" NOW THE TIRE WANT RUB..AND IT STILL GIVES YOU A TIGHT LOOK FROM BODY TO TIRE"

How much pressure do you recomend to use on this.. cuz most tires have max 40-51

I work with tires.. and putting more than 60 could be leathal..
100+ you should use tire cage..
      Anything else is wreckless

Dont sound like it.. putting 110psi without using cage is very dangerous..

So 195 on 8.5j will be way more safe than this.

Over 100 psi to seat a bead... thats just downright dangerous! You need better lube.

110 PSI.. YIKES!!....Better inflate those tires in a safety cage. I'd hate to see one explode and injure someone, or worse.
