Pioneer isn’t good quality, it’s packed with good features, but that’s it and that’s why I would never take my hard earned cash to spend on any pioneer products, it’s over priced plastic.
the smell of the mixer is normal when they are brand new, after couple of months goes away, the only issue I have on mine is the paint start fading away quick, I put on skin from 12inch skinz

same exact issues here with s11 SE, the user setting can't be saved on the mixer most of the time, especially for the FX user preference ..

I bought one with a bad brain, now it is being held hostage by a authorized refurbisher because they dont have replacement parts

I had that strange smell for the first couple of months owning the mixer. My S11 mixer is 12 months old now and still working.
Yesterday, march the 7th they send me a replacement unit, I will also make a video with the new one. I m glad that your mixer is working.

Same issue still works after 14 months
Take it back - the retailer will exchange it for you.
They have only one in stock, I hope that one will be free of quality issues. Thank you for your comment.

Same think for me. But my S11 work fine.
It 's a shame for Price but i use it in 12/15hours sessions and all good.
Get that up to around 500 hours and run it hard. The main logic board has QC issues that can be intermittent

...man, that is horrible quality. I almost bought an S11 today but I guess I will stay with my Rane 72 and still keep the S9 as a backup...
