    When are you going to show mixars quattro and duo mixer review with the reloop 8000 mk2 complimenting each other, I might buy the reloop elite mixer, Rane 70,72 mk2 and Pioneer s11 mixer.

      Hi! We have a long list of items lined up for review and we’ve been playing some catch up on certain items as well. We cannot guarantee we’ll review every piece of gear that hits the market but we carry each of those you mentioned in our shop so let us know when you’re ready to purchase. We offer financing via PayPal Credit and Affirm as well. We’ll keep those Mixars suggestions in mind as well. Thanks!

      Thanks! I really feel like they appeal to two different DJing mindsets. Obviously they both get the job done beautifully but if I were trying to consider which to purchase, I would be mostly considering how to adapt my playing style in order to most effectively use the mixer. I think there are strong reasons to be in either camp! Perhaps this could be an upcoming video...

    hi, please tell me how good and durable the channel faders are in s11, I heard that for example in s7 they are not reliable and can fail, I wonder if in s 11 they are the same as in s 7 or a class higher and is it difficult to change them if they break ? Thank you

    • @Deckademics
      @Deckademics  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The faders in the s11 are of higher quality than the S7, as well as being easier to swap in the event you should need to

    hey are there djs with a djm S11 that have some latency for beat matching or mixing 2 songs. I have the djm S 11 now a year. actually I want to use my turntables with phase and this mixer to play music. ( I'm not a scratching dj) just allround dj. But I try to find some latency our still has to pitch bend all the time... on my turntables... When I take out my old controller ( denon mcx 8000) I played on this it has a different way of mixing ... fine en smooth beat matching without a constant pitch bend .... I played some gigs with the S11 and I found me as a dj not comfortable with those set up... you hear a delay 's. SO I think to look for an another controller.

    There are 16 pads. Are you able to turn them all into sample pads at the same time to functionally recreate Vestaxs Controller 1 turntable notation controls with 12 different notes of the same sample complete with an octave switch and vibrato (with the pitch bend, up fader, or whatever else to mimic a vibrato-like control)? I need to see if there's a way to recreate Vestaxs C-1, a keyboard, or full sampler pad on this or any similar battle mixer like the Rane 70 or 72.
    Reloop tried to recreate the C1s but I heard the torque isn't there so the notation response time is sluggish making the note changes sound slurred. Rather play notes on the mixer or Ranes controller turntable if possible.

    • @coolhandlex
      @coolhandlex 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The closest thing I can think of is the Pioneer XP2 that has a pitch play mode with all 16 pads. I'm sure you could create some vibrato with the touch strips as well. As far as I can tell, the Controller 1 is still in a class of its own but definitely give the Reloop RP8000mk2 decks a chance before you write them off. Your comment right here is the first and only time I've heard of a possible issue.

    • @boomieboo
      @boomieboo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@coolhandlex Thanks for the tip about the xp2s. Have you heard of highlight features, pros, or cons when it comes to the XP2 vs the DJS-1000 sampler?
      As far as the issue with the Reloops, that came directly from Dj Woody who helped create the C1s, other DJs who have used both, as well as on the demo of the Reloops themselves with Dj Angelo and others on Reloops YT channel. You can hear the slurry sluggish sound at the beginning of the sample of almost every note change in their videos.
      Also not sure if Elites Reloop turns have octave control, vibrato, and note key changes as do the C1s.

    • @coolhandlex
      @coolhandlex 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@boomieboo Yeah, well I'd trust Woody for sure! The Elite doesn't have any pitch control outside of the pitch play pad mode AFAIK

    • @coolhandlex
      @coolhandlex 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@boomieboo Looks like Woody just released a platter play sample pack for the RP8000mk2

    • @boomieboo
      @boomieboo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@coolhandlexCool man. Woodys on another level and still doing it. If you mean samples to play with reloops notation controls, they're most likely to be played with any setup you have though.
      Also some other things I've been looking into to recreate the C1s are the fretless fader by John Beez which is a specialized crossfader that allows you to play notes with ur turns. But it has yet to be released to the public even after over a decade of development.
      And the Button Box which recreates the C1s notation controls even with octave and vibrato controls. It's pretty sick and seems as close as one can get to the C1s.
      Check out both on youtube if you want. If you have trouble finding either let me know.

    Nice video mate, But I can't justify a pioneer product that costs in excess of £1800.00 & made Mostly of Plastic What! It begs the question why are All Pioneer DJ mixers mostly made of metal? Like the RANE 72, Is like a tank cos it's made of Metal & more to the point can be bought for £500.00 less!!
    I know which one I'm getting.

    Why is it so expensive, to me it's expensive and will seem like eternity to save up for!

    • @Deckademics
      @Deckademics  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We agree that the prices of mixers are way more than expensive these days but it’s also relative to the amount of tech & engineering going into these products. There are great options available with some of these features at affordable rates such as the Numark Scratch at $500 for example.
