Nice to see turntables getting features we as controller Djs had nearly 10 years ago with the original sx😂. Never really understood why they got rid of dual deck mode on the sx 2. It was a cool feature for 4 deck mixing.

Hey Phil! If I wanted to spin both house music and some scratching, is this mixer worth it? Or should I consider the 900 instead? I don’t like that there are not 4 dedicated channels but like the pad mode on the mixer for turntables
You identify a definite point of difference. If you mainly want to mix, with a bit of scratching, and need those extra channels (most people truthfully don't), the 900 is the better bet - but you're right that having the controller (eg pad) functions is a definite plus for the S-series mixers.
Good job as usual Phil. Great mixer. Do you think it's worth upgrading from my SX2 (w/flip, pn't) to the S11 with a pair of Twelve Mk2's? Or what alternative turntable would you suggest?
Unless you can put into words a good reason why you want to do this, no! Some of these Serato functions will come to your SX2 in time, and you already have a powerful system.
