This is so beautiful. I love Grand Teton and would consider it a top 10 park.
Good taste, bro!
Beautiful fun with friends.The BEST👍
Right on, Brooke! :)
so cool you start with snow coming down/ snow shoeing looks like fun too, looks like a great time and super hike thanks for taking us with you
It was so special with the snow. Thankful for the timing on that one!
Those are actually snow clouds obscuring the peaks, not fog. And the reason there are only a few trails open in the winter and that most of the park is "under snow" is because they groom the park road (or at least sections of it) north of the Taggart Lake trailhead as a multi-use trail.
Learned something new, thanks!
My favorite thing to do in winter/early spring there is spend a half day at National Elk Refuge just outside Jackson Hole.
We were looking into the sled ride there, but it was too late in the year. Looked amazing!
Cool video to see winter, wouldn’t dream of seeing it in winter otherwise. My dads favorite national park is Grand Teton, I was there, but I was 2.. so I don’t remember it. I looked at it, and hotels in that area seem scarce and it expensive and camping booked way in advance. Seems to be a place to plan maybe a year out.
Yeah, getting more popular and the area is rather tight (especially around Jenny Lake), prone to get congested. Advance planning is necessary or try visiting in the off-season.
Nice hike. Good adjectives too. We'll be there next year in the July timeframe. We're planning to spend a week there. Never been there before, looking forward to seeing it.
Really an underrated park imo. Definitely beautiful, but still so much to do. Hope you have a great time!
A winter wonderland ☃️
Well-said, Eric!
I don’t like cold, but snowshoeing in the Tetons might be one I would really enjoy. So beautiful.
Yes, despite the cold, think you would have liked this one!
Absolutely beautiful! Oh, but walking across a frozen lake... yikes!
Yeah, watched a lot of people before I took the first step! :) Have a nice week, Heather!
Such a beautiful area! Evergreens against pristine snow can’t be beat. Thanks for sharing. Take care!
Right on, James! So special. TO me, even more enjoyable than the previous day snowmobiling.
Ola Pastor Randy! Even with the Peaks of the Grand Tetons partially obscured by fog, their beauty is still undeniable...thank you for bringing us all along...🗻🗻🗻
Hey Glenn, thanks for watching -- totally agree - nothing can take away from the grandeur of this place!
Hello America's Park's😊😊, I have been to Grand Teton during summer season but never even thought about enjoying Grand Teton during winter season and snowmobiling and snow shoeing. Wow! Grand Teton is just as beautiful in winter. Just AMAZING! I really enjoyed watching this video👍👍👍!
Thanks so much for the encouraging sentiments, Al!
grand teton is on my bucket list. I hope to visit this park when traveling between the Netherlands and the USA is allowed again. I am curious about the video
Hope you can get out there. Thanks for watching!
It's stunning no matter what time of year it is - I'm very grateful to live less than 3 hours from it (been a total of 9 times so far, 8 of which since moving here), and have been there summer, fall, and winter (probably at some point I'll go in the spring, but I haven't yet).
Great video!
Thanks much, Lucy!
Love the Teton national park. I was there in September can't wait to go back
Good taste, Darlene! Such a special place!
Fantastic video again! That looks like it was a blast! I think that I would have taken a snowboard though.
Yeah, saw those guys blazing through on skis - looked really cool!
Randy, a nice hike in the snow at Grand Tetons. Looks like you needed those snowshoes to get to the best views, and great fun for the group. Maybe nicer than the snowmobiling adventure as on this trail you can reflect on how quiet it is. THANK YOU FOR TAKING US ON A WALK IN THE WOODS, . . . Mike
Exactly my thoughts - loved the snowmobiles, but this one (to me) was more special.
March 26, two days off our Ruby Anniversary, man I wish we were celebrating it there! Now that 'is' snow - wow! We both love walking in fresh snow and that looked awesome and the mist on the Peaks did not spoil it for me, they still looked real cool. That belly flop looked painful😂 and almost just as bad the second time😂. Loved the snowman on the lake and a great message and you were so right man, that was really cool! GR8 hike, cheers Alan
Thanks! You have such a warm heart, my friend!
Love Grand Teton 💕 That looked like a super fun winter adventure!
You have good taste, Renee - such a special place!
What a beautiful park Brother 👍
Thanks for joining us, brother! Enjoy your week!
@@AmericasParks ty brother.
One of my Top 5 parks! I bet it was so cool to do a visit in the winter. Just tested for my license today( passed the 1st try!) so I will be on the road soon just have no idea where. Thanks randy for your support while I take on this new journey in life. Hope you follow along as I plan to document the adventure. Take care my friend.
Happy for you, brother! Glad this new chapter of your life is off to a good start!

Wow ! Ok now I see what you were talking about Randy. Grand Teton is beautiful with all that snow. I imagine disability on the snowmobile was a bit challenging in comparison :) So amazing. Can't wait for the next video and have a wonderful week and Happy Mother Day to Julie
Thanks so much, Jymn! The snowmobiles were great, but this hike was really special... walking though the undisturbed nature with breathtaking sights with minimal people.
Yeah hiking trails covered in snow is something I've never really thought about doing. But those are some nice snowshoes you guys had on and it looked pretty seamless the way you guys did it. That was a nice snowman in the video by the way. Crazy seeing the Lakes frozen over like that. Thanks for sharing another awesome National Park adventure with us!
Thanks, Eric! Interesting point... I know you've done a ton of hikes and some in cooler conditions, but can't remember you ever hiking in the snow. Totally different and cool experience!
Nice adventure Randy. And getting to Grand Teton twice in a year, even better! The winter conditions just add such a magical component to the scenery. You can tell I don’t snowshoe because when I think of snowshoes I imagine the tennis racket-looking things. Looks like they have come a long way in design.
Looks like we settled on this area for our big trip next year. Yellowstone reservations for 2022 open in a few weeks at 2 am. Yikes!
A lot to look forward to in 2022 for you guys! Hope the reservations came together. ...and for the snowshoes - nothing like I expected. My thoughts were originally like yours!
A great winter adventure! This place would be that much more beautiful without the fog, but a fun adventure nevertheless!
That place is just so majestic!
Wow, that looks like so much fun! Going to have to try a snow shoe adventure there someday. Doesn't look like it was very crowded which would make for a very peaceful outing.
Wasn't bad regarding the crowds. Believe it was one of the only major trails opened if you want to simply park and hike. Beautiful area in the winter.
Would love to hit up the Tetons in winter as well, absolutely beautiful. Even with the fog it looks like you all got some gorgeous views of the surrounding area. Hope you made it out ok since you cut off in the middle of nowhere! :-P Take care sir and thanks for sharing - Shane
Hey Shane, thanks for joining us! This is really a special place - extra special with the snow falling and few people. Have a great week!
@@AmericasParks Looked like a fun time! You too sir!
I like the neversummer proto fr 162df it has a varying sidecut radius and it has rubber on the inside under my bindings to dampen vibration. It has saved me lots of valuable time and preserves my knees. I just wish they could make snowshoes and everything where I can hit a lever and my boots and bindings come off then I can just step on the snowboard and go.
Appreciate the insights based on your experiences!
Thank you Randy, I enjoyed the video; it was quite a contrast from all your other warm weather videos... Robin :-)
Nice to be out there away from the crowds - such a beautiful place formed by our Creator!

Vid did a nice job capturing the beauty of the area. Right on with the "Pristine Perfection" subtitle.
Appreciate that, Glenn!
