    9300 miles on mine 2017 touring. Never had those problems. 1belt changed at 8000 miles and really didn't need it. No broken axel. Ect. IT'S HOW YOU DRIVE THEM.

    I have a 15 sportsman 570 with 1500 miles and I beat on it like it’s a Honda I personally feel like Polaris made some lemons but I’ve yet to have a problem I changed the front tires because of wear but I still got a few miles to catch up lol

      Just wait until you get 2k miles + it’ll start breaking every ride you go on

    Note to self don't buy a Polaris. By the way Yamaha warranties there belts for 10,000 miles I have a 06 grizz absolutely no problems I ride it pretty hard I would definitely spend the extra money if you can.

    Running a K&N air filter on any recreational vehicle is just asking for premature engine wear. If you your not changing your oil very frequently and cleaning and oiling your air filter after every ride then in due time it'll be burning oil because the piston rings will be shot. And by the looks of the air filter in the video and your comments about it being dirty, it's not being properly maintained. If you want 100% proof, next oil change send a sample of the used oil to a lab and get tested. Without a doubt it'll show results for contaminates that will cause early wear. Their plenty of videos with oil tests and oil filter tests with lab results when using K&N air filters in vehicles. And removing the restrictor plates is just adding fuel to the fire 🔥.

      Or you can just buy a yamaha or Honda and just enjoy riding other than being a full time mechanic

    i got ten thousand miles on mine 2017 570 touring, never broke anything, or replaced broken parts. bearing ect. replaced my belt at 8000 miles. and didnt realy need to, since i had it apart i did anyway. I wouldnt blame polaris... it all depends how you ride them.

    I waited 10 months for Yamaha to ship a Kodiak 450!! and after contacting them they STILL couldn't give me a date for delivery, said it could even be another 10 months....... Yeah I'm not waiting 2 damn years to get an ATV. I went with a 22 sportsman 570 Trail and out of the 600 miles I've put on it so far, I haven't had one single issue.

    I hope Polaris gets to see your video and I hope they see my comment __ In Alaska..... yeah, Im goin with Honda. When it comes to longevity and maintenance..... honda wins ! I will gladly surrender some power in exchange for longevity and easier maintenance __ THANK YOU FOR AN EXCELLENT VIDEO 🙂

    Very honest. Thanks. I have a Sportsman 450, but very few miles yet. What is your opinion of the HD8? How many miles on it? I'm considering one, but if the build quality isn't better than Polaris I would go with something else.

    • @GNR325
      @GNR325 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A review of the HD8 would be great. Probably get a lot of views as there aren't a ton of owner reviews out there on the HD8, especially if you have a few miles on it. Thanks!

    Firstly if you admit you had to charge belts often due to you doing "stupid stuff" chances are the other major issues having something do with "stupid stuff" too lol. Those first problems you mentioned are pretty typical of just plain abusing the machine beyond what's its intended for. I've put tens of thousands of miles on multiple sportsmans now in rugged Terrain zero issues. That being said, you are bound to get a machine out of so many produced with issues thats for sure.

      In 6k miles it had 4 belts put on it but I’ve seen Honda’s and can am atv’s get put through a lot more and never break down like this one has and this atv only mostly done road riding and some mud but not much but the 6k was almost all on the road it shouldn’t have went through anything but tires and breaks
