I ended up trading for a newer atv with power steering, because of a back injury (Can Am). I had 500 miles of HARD mileage on this machine(drug at least 25 trees out with it) but it felt brand new... that being said, all the ones for sale on marketplace here, have an average of 2 to 3k miles on them and run great.... This tells me they are somewhat dependable. Hope that helps!

I just bought a 2014 sportsman 570 Second hand. Rare find considering australia has banned new quadbikes in the country so all the old ones are rare to find because farmers snatch them up My 570 is quick as. They are suprisingly fast. Mine doesnt have the EBS. Same colour as yours. So far so good. Chasin HOGS on it !! What do you do on yours? And how much difference is owning a 850 compared to a 570?? Ill never know .
Wow that's awesome! Why are they banned? Neighbor has an 850, seems to me the only difference is maybe a little more towing capacity. I like to keep a quad small enough to where I can get into tight spaces, but big enough for some fun here and there. This is perfect for what I use it for really. (Dragging trees, plowing, occasional fun.) It has amazing ground clearance, and doesn't get stuck without warning. 😂
@@JimmyLeeTennessee well what happenned is that the government did all these tests because we had alot of deaths per year involving quad bikes and farmers. Roll overs and getting pinned underneath. So they effectivly said OK all new quad bikes MUST be fitted with roll over protection bars from the year 2020 onwards. Well the big 5 players.. honda. Yama..polaris. canam all said no we are not adding devices to them so we will just stop selling them to australia. So effectivly all second quads are non existant. They fetch crazy prices now because we cant buy new ones now. And any second hand quad bike in fair good condition especially over 400CC goes for good money (hog chasers love them) My 2014 polaris was 6200$USD WITH 400 hours on it!!! And that was considered a good buy. One thing ive noticed with it. It gets damn HOT!!! ON THE right side panel. I need to wrap some heat shield tape on it or something wow But otherwise its fun to ride damn quick too im using it for getting my sheep into the pens to drench. Bit of logging and hunting. Dont take for granted you live in the best country in the world USA. Australia is the nanny state. We are wrapped in cotton wool with not many freedoms anymore would love to move there but its just too hard with the greencard. Freedom aint free

Maybe an hour at most.... And I love my country, but its getting very bad over here too, especially If these other Americans don't grow some balls and stand up for themselves. I really feel for what your country is going through right now, you are definitely in our thoughts mate, a lot of people are talking about it. Hope it changes soon.
