I'm learning something new everyday with the Q3. I opened the rear hatch. Took off the cover that conceal what's in the cargo area. Lifted the cargo floor board which has levels to it. I Lifted it up to the highest level, then pulled the two plastic pieces from the corners compartment. I placed the cargo cover on top of the spare tire and laid the flooring on top. Awesome. It's storage if you want the cargo cover out of the way.

Found out that to adjust the Q3 armrest higher, just lift it to desired height wait about 5 seconds and the armrest sets itself there. It's a cool feature.

I’m thinking the Audi gods are looking down on me, lol. First thank you and Ben( seat adjustments) for doing the video on the Q3 45 S-line and putting it out this morning. Already leaning towards the Q3 but you gave me some information that even my salesperson did not give. Which pushed me over all the way. Cause this afternoon I drove off the lot with a Q3 45 S-line in pulse orange with black optic sport package. Thank you again for taking the time to do the videos and doing requests. Lol, this is right up there with me getting married, having kids and Grandchildren and finding this car. Not telling what order in case my wife sees this comment. Keep up the wonderful videos.

The kick to release looks like an excellent feature. How does it prevent anyone from getting in?
You have to have they key within 3 feet of the back tailgate for it to operate.

Hi, does Audi have the remote starter? Is it an option or standard? Also, with the chip shortage some Audi’s are not coming with the Apple wireless charger. Can the chip be added later once they become available??
Hello! No Audi comes with a remote starter. In Europe it is illegal to leave your vehicle while it is running so they are unable to offer you a remote starter. If we had a factory in the united states I would assume we would have remote start.
You cannot add the wireless charger later, that has to be something installed in the factory.

Hi today, I followed you instructions and the stop/start technology worked great. The engines shuts down so smooth you don't feel it. I had to look over at my tachometer and it bottoms out. That's when I knew the engine had shut down. Also, you stop/start indicator yellow light let's you know as well. The system operates smoothly.

Also i think the audi is probably the best affordable car out there. 35k starting off isn't bad at all. Especially since hondas are now 32k
I agree! And all of the standard features is quite impressive! I see more and more customers comparing Honda or Toyota or Hyundai and Audi. That wasn’t something you did before.

@@loitersquadX Audi does not have any form of Remote Start or full keyless use. In Europe it is illegal to leave your vehicle while it is running so that is why Audi does not offer remote start. However if you have one of the e-tron models you can precondition the cabin. Meaning you can have it ready to go at a specific time and temperature. Audi’s app has been plagued with issues and until they get it 100% figured out I’m sure they won’t offer a “digital Key”. While the idea seems cool, I know some Tesla customers who have used it and when the server is down or stormy weather they say it’s a nightmare. They always end up carrying their key because they never know if it will work or not.
Question. The start stop technology how does it work on this car. I traded a 2022 Lincoln Corsair for my Q3 . When I stopped at a light. The engine shuts down and the car actually goes into brake mode so that you can take your foot off the brake pedal. How does it work on the Audi?
You cannot take your foot off the brake on the Q3 with out it starting back up. When you are less than 1/4 of the way into the pedal then it starts the engine again. You can deactivate this feature if you don’t like it.
@@emilytheaudinerd No, I want the stop/start. I thought the way it worked. Is that I don't have to hold the brake at a red light. Once the light turns green I either hit the brake or accelerator to deactivate. If you tell me the stop/ start technology on the Audi works different then I'm good with that.
@@wdholm5453 Ahhhh got it. You cannot let your foot off the brake without it restarting.
@@emilytheaudinerd OK I see now. So I ve seen the activation light on all the time. But with the Audi, once I apply the brake, the engine shuts down. When I release the brake the engine starts again. And that is different from American made cars. Ok cool. Thank you for everything!!!
Didn't know that you had to put your foot on the brake then pu the hatch tab to close the rear hatch. I just purchased my q3 Saturday and I was trying to close the rear. Wouldn't close until I started the car. Thanks

Emily the toe kick thing is t work yet. To release the back hatch.
It does take some practice. Kick to the right of the license plate. You must have the key on you for it to work

Emily can you help me identify a.device on my 2022 Audi Q3. On the driver's identify door on the ledge near the exterior mirror there is a little red light, or indicator. What is that? I don't think my car has side assist because there's nothing on the inner side of my exterior mirror that would light up.
That is your security dot. It flashes red when the car is locked. It just means it has an alarm and motion sensor :)

@@wdholm5453 with the chip shortages we are seeing a lot of them not have it. Does it have a little black box on the exterior of the mirror facing in towards the cabin? That is blind spot.

i’m in a pickle don’t mind the lag on q3 if u put it in sports mode it’s nearly non existent but the q5 is satisfying when gasing in any mode… so i’m up against a fully loaded q3 or a base q5 …premium plus fully loaded is just to much where i live but about 300 miles away there’s better deals but not making that trip so the question is fully loaded q3 or a base q5
With the amount of features that comes on the Q3, I would choose the Q3 over and over again. The Q3 is also one of the only Audi's that can take regular gas. If you don't need the extra space of the Q5, go with the Q3.

I don't believe the kick to open tailgate is a standard option. Our new 2022 sline doesn't have this.
Is yours a 40 or 45? It is listed as a standard option on the 45. Does yours have the advance key credit? Meaning you have to put the key in the ignition to start it? That will also eliminate that feature.
Great video but I think the Mercedes Gla 250 looks better and has more power.

I cross shopped one of those about a year ago. I wasn’t impressed with the interior and infotainment. I will have to check it out again and see if they have updated anything.
Show me all the features, does this audi have keyless entry? Volkswagen has an app on the phone that starts car.
It does have keyless entry, or proximity key. Lock and unlock controls on the door handles. It also has remote unlock and lock from the My Audi app.

As an owner of 2 RS3s, with those keys I completely understand. They did update the keys on the new 8Y A3 so I would assume with the refresh, we should be getting the new key with the Q3. So now the question is when is the refresh coming?

It is small, since it is the smallest SUV. But there are quite a few other SUVs that have more back seat room! So you would have many options!

I would have to disagree with you. It’s funny because every other manufacturer is copying at least one of Audi’s style features.
It's also a rav 4. Different strokes, but I really don't feel like the features to price point holds a candle.
