The cabbage “moths” are actually butterflies, which might be a good homeschool lesson for the kids on how to tell the difference.
You’re such an impressive gardener! And you looked very beautiful and dewy today.
What a blessing about the water leak and well!
You have so much already! The rose is a beautiful color.
What a relief that the water issue was so easily resolved! I tell you what, it sure is nice having skills to be able to fix what needs fixing.
I’m so so grateful! ❤️
Great garden tour as always!!! Praise God for the easy water fix!!!
Thank you so much! Praising Him always ❤️
You make a quarter acre look so big!
I try and squeeze as much as possible into it.
The best cucumbers i have ever eaten are called Munchers. I can't get enough of them. I planted late so don't know if they will make it through the heat. 😢
I’m in awe of your beautiful garden. Great job Kelsey.
Your roses are so pretty! Do you have Japanese bettles in PA? We have them bad and roses are the first thing they attact!
I only get a few the first blooms and them the Beatles get the rest. I have tried everything for years and nothing works. I'm in NC.
Kelsey, if you already have comfrey, don't buy anymore. You will have it forever and it propagates extremely well. You only need a little piece of root to grow a whole new plant.
Oh good thought! I’ll have to look into that! Thank you ☺️
@@seedandsparrowhomesteadLittle Montain Ranch just had it on her video couple days ago. She said to plant it under you fruit trees. Just take small section and it will spread forever.
You can use the marjoram plant .put it in your freeze dryer and make it foraspice for fried chicken
Blessing indeed to have had things work out with the well! It wonderful that Matt is so able to handle many of the repairs. You are a great team! I’m adding a couple of plants to my list for next after seeing in real time how they are maturing in your garden. Early in the start of the video, the view looking through the trellis to your seating area had such a lovely “Secret Garden“ look to it. The bounty from your space is going to be amazing. Thank you for taking us along as you walked through your garden, it’s beautiful.
I hope Grant is feeling better.
My baby David Austin’s are blooming …. Just love them. 🌸. The yellow is more peach but you did say they will change to their color next year.
Yes! Give it time but I’m sure they are still stunning!
Thanks 😅
Praying for you and your son, feel better soon. The garden is beautiful, I enjoy your videos so much they bring me joy. I have a very small garden, and it brings me joy as well. Being outside in the sun can be so healing. God bless you Kelsey. 💕
Question... do you get excited to have us comment... as much as we are excited to watch your awesome videos. Lucky number 316 to like this video... I have also shared and now commenting... Hugs from Esquimalt
Oh and I have a question... are the fronds from the asparagus plants edible?
So much fun!!
Good morning Kelsey, hey about your kiwi I believe I read there male and female plants and you need both in order to grow fruit. I could be wrong but check into it. Great looking garden. ❤
Most are but this one is supposedly self pollinating! It’s called Issai ☺️
Can you grow elephant ear plants.?
With all your strawberries do you make strawberry tea? How do you fix/cook your kale? Nancy from Nebraska
Hope your little man feels better! We have been dealing with so much allergies here in Western NC.
Thank you! Ugh allergies can be rough!
My allergies have been bad this year.i live in Texas.
Thank you. Blessings
Please show how you redo the strawberry bed. I desperately need to redo mine!!!
I can definitely do that!
Good job
😊
Thanks! ☺️
You need a male kiwi plant so that your fruit will grow
This one is self pollinating! Or should be!
I saw on another TH-cam channel that kiwi plants are male and female and you need both to produce fruit. Not sure if you have both. You only need 1 male for several females.
This one is supposed to be self pollinating, or so it said!
Oh ok. I don’t know too much about them. I just saw it just recently on TH-cam. By the way your garden looks amazing. I live in Wisconsin and we are getting so much rain. We are still working on planting our garden.
Do you have both a male and female kiwi?? You need both for fruit.
This is a self pollinating variety called " Issai" so I should be good!
Hey Kelsey love your garden and channel content. I had a quick question I have leaf miner damage as well in my garden on several leafy greens and fruiting items, which I am just afraid to eat anything from the garden would you say it’s safe for the fruiting items.
Fruiting for sure! If there is extensive damage on leaves you’d want to eat, like lettuce, I personally compost or give to the chickens and use the less damaged or unaffected ☺️
@@seedandsparrowhomestead ok I will take a look and see which ones look bad. Thank Kelsey.
You need a male and females kiwi plant to produce fruit. You might only have a female plant.
This is a self pollinating variety called "Issai" so I should be good!
I wonder if the kiwi isn’t producing because you don’t have a male and female? Or maybe you do and just didn’t mention it?
Such a BEAUTIFUL tour. Sorry, you have a sick little one. That is never any fun!
Kiwi plants need a male and a female - from what I know...I don't think I ever saw a self polination kiwi...
Yep the Issai is self fertile or at least that’s what the packaging said! I may try adding another 🤷♀️
@@seedandsparrowhomestead You only need a male if you have the normal kiwi, kiwi berries don't need one.
