Great Vids I would like to see a video that covers the things to be aware of with content types and site columns. For example, you publish a content type from the hub and if you look in site content types you will see that source says Content Type Hub. The moment you click new add column then content type and pick that content type it gets added to you list or library and now shows source of the site. If you edit the inherited Hub Content Type but edit at the site level will stick. If you change the parent and (at the Hub) and then select to update at the Site level the changes you made will be lost. Also, if you add a column at the list library level and say add to all content types this only applies to that library. If you then decided to roll up a level, you get site column already exists conflicts.

I really appreciate the simplicity of this video.
One thing I noticed is that you upload a template, and don't link to a template using a URL in the Content Type Gallery. Every time I try to use a SharePoint -based URL I get an 'unexpected error'. I haven't yet figured out what I'm doing wrong :/

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. I try to keep all the concepts and techniques I teach as simplistic as possible. There's people watching from around the world, and not every speaks English as their native language, so the simpler I can keep things, the easier it is to understand.
As far as the template, I just upload the document directly. I don't specify a URL. The content type template needs to be uploaded because it's copying the file to the library itself. I don't think SharePoint wants the URL to the template.

"There is another step that's needed. You're going to need to pull that Content Type" ... "You could probably script this with
    Powershell"
Could you post a video showing how to do that with Powershell?

I think that would be a good video to do. Let me see what I can come up with. Thanks for the feedback!
