Mine is same but here is the difference, when i took off battery my laptop open up with dc adapter. When i install battery (even a new one) green led light on adapter turns off.

Well, I’ve just purchased a new dc. Let’s hope it works. The other guys, mostly Indian, they teach real complex solutions…you have the simplest one.

Weird must be a different problem likely related to what connects the batter to the rest of the computer I would guess but really not sure. Good luck
