I miss you everyday Anthony Bourdain. The world has become such a strange chaotic and individualistic environment. I miss your light and empathy to the unknown.
It's so wonderful how Tony can glean the good things from a setting which so many people around the world would very quickly dismiss as hopeless. I really miss this guy's wisdom.
Oh the hopeful feeling back in 2012 Anthony had! Alas, the "revolution" was "won" by the militants (aka ISIS-adjacent groups), and the "West" forgot Libya - so its basically a hellhole now :(
I dont know if we watched the same show. Anthony was maybe hopeful, but cautiously so. A theme throughout the show was the sense of instability in an interregnum defined by competing militia groups and the assassination of public officials. As that one young doctor said "now is the grey area".
Tony sees the world in a way, not everyone can comprehend and for that thank you forever Anthony. Rest well.

R.I.P mr bourdain
Libya was once a good country under Gaddafi but they are missing him now
Nonsense
No gaddafi was a terrible dictator
@@yelihop9255 most people who lived in Libya under his dictatorship agree with you.
The west believed the propaganda of Libya. Libya worked
The USA couldn't profit off of Libya so they destroyed it
It's 2024 and what? 🤦
