I miss you everyday Anthony Bourdain. The world has become such a strange chaotic and individualistic environment. I miss your light and empathy to the unknown.
lol yea he killed himself because he was sad that his porn star girlfriend dumped him after he was mad at her for wanting an open relationship. He orphaned his daughter because of it. I love Anthony but that has to be the lamest way to go out. I’m mad more than sad. Also why are you commenting you heard he killed himself 3 months ago when it happened years ago…Also the world has always been strange and chaotic more so before, eons and ages before than now. Now it’s just dumb to many people too many rules too much time to think and sadly no one really thinking just focussing on trivial garbage, lamenting and forgetting all the skills that made humans special in the first place.
I am so glad this is now available, l have missed Anthony so much, like maybe millions of other people, it felt like a piece of me died when we lost him.
I had the whole series downloaded in my SSD. Thanks for sharing it on TH-cam, now I can do my yearly watch marathon and also clear my disk space. Miss you Tony!
I went to Myanmar right after seeing this episode years ago. What a beautiful country and lovely people. Such a shame what's going on there now. I have many friends working in Thailand from Myanmar and it's not easy for them.
Please kindly indicate the year each episode was originally broadcast so that we can try and understand it in its (now historical) context. Very grateful for this TH-cam channel. Thanks.
The political aspect added to Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown' after switching networks for the third time (Food channel to Travel channel to CNN) took some getting used to for me. But he has Always been The Best!
Most people know they are watching a dead man. What does knowing originally aired ... what month, day or year matter, he's not making new content 😅😅??? Also, it's in the title S1 E1 if you like to view via season and episode 😂😂
@@frasermackenzie7275 It's very relevant here because this episode depicts a short timespan of increased civil liberty in myanmar. Knowing that this way aired in 2013 and knowing what's going on now helps you understand the context.
24:22 I love Creed. They hate them because that is what sinners do when confronted with the truth... Isn't it strange this chaos we see these days was prophesied in the Bible some 2.000 years ago? If that book is not inspired by the one who made this place it would be stranger than just realizing there is a God and that Jesus is the only and final solution. He gave us the greatest gift imaginable when He died for our sins so we could be reunited with Him if we want. It's free and all your fear of death will disappear in an instant. I guarantee it. God bless and lots of love from Norway.
it is quite heart-breaking to rewatch this episode in 2024.
was thinking exactly the same

Parts Unknown killed you. But i still watch you almost everyday.
It's sad that the political situation during the making of this episode didn't age very well now
The one time when screaming on a carnival ride is definitely warranted 😵
