An acquaintance of mine went to Colombia in 1973 to mine emeralds and other precious jewels. He stayed 25 years, loved it and made pots of money..................................

Hi, it's called a tilt-shift lens, it was designed for architectural photography, but it also can generate this "live model" effect when used for landscape photography. I'm missing a lot of technical details, but yeah...
This is so good! I worked for a Colombian travel printing company for which I was a junior graphic designer in downtown Miami, '78. I was taught about every city there and my 20 year-old imagination was captured. I learned about Barranquilla, Medellin, Bogota, Cali and of course romantic Cartagena. Yes, they're fixing the problems from the 80s and beyond. It's good to see. Tony ponders why the US can't fix their own problems? Grass roots and local politicians fix shit, not government.
Veo que la comida que le dieron estaba servida en loza muy limpia, las illos limpias, y las vendedoras con los cabellos bien cubierto y usan máscaras, que bien.
Oh the irony of Anthony pointing out that they brought in the town’s supply of beer (Poker) while they talk about all the societal ills that are brought on by drugs, meanwhile alcohol destroys Colombia as well.
I find it funny how many people get offended by the spelling. People say japan not nipon like its supposed to be said. Or italy and not italia like they say it in italy, etc.... I found a long time ago that in english (colombia is actually columbia) so why get soooo frustrated or insulted by a name when in english is the right way to say it? I dont deaagree that its spelled colombia but who cares if it says columbia. Is just a name in english. (By the way im colombian and im not offended as again is the language barrier)
I drove from NYC to and around all of South America which including driving all around Colombia for three months . I didn’t want to leave . My favourites were Mexico and Colombia. Mexico has the better food , but both have incredible friendly people .
