มุมมอง 3.1Kวันที่ผ่านมา
The two funniest and most brilliant chef/restaurateurs in Canada, Joe Beef's Dave McMillan and Fred Morin, take us across Canada by rail. Tangier is what Burroughs called "Interzone" and where artists like Burroughs, Bowles, Rimbaud, Verlaine and the Rolling Stones sought escape from Western moral prohibitions, exploring the possibilities of great empty spaces. But what is it like now? Welcome ...

Anthony Visits Myanmar and Los Angeles | S01 E01, E02 | Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown
มุมมอง 4.7K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
Anthony and his crew explore the beautiful and legendary area of Myanmar in Asia to indulge in the local cuisines of a country that had been, until recently, off limits to outsiders. Tony takes a different side of Los Angeles, not the ritzy, high-class Beverly Hills/ Hollywood side, but the three square-mile area known as Koreatown, where he finds a closely woven community still feeling the imp...

Nordic Kitchen is the Kitchen of the century. French and Italian is so behind it is not even in the discussion. Rene IS on of the major kitchens that rivals the best Italian and French kitchens in all their existence. Edit: Watching this makes it so obvious that french and italian food is dead.
- 24:21 - You need to UPDATE your video: Pusher Street in Christiania is now CLOSED down permantly by the Police etc....Doesn`t exist anymore, & never will again ! Gammel Dansk is the same as `Schnapps` or `Aquavit`, `Gammel Dansk` contains 29 different herbs+spices+flowers from the whole world....<3
Hvil i fred og beton fra staten
Jante Law is not about keeping people down it is about people keeping people leveled. Most people are way to high on their horse. Danes admire success and being good. They hate egoes
why are you reuploading everything?
Because this awesome man with his always very interesting episodes will never be forgotten
WARmerica is trash though, so nope
The Law of Jante is NOTHING like presented here. You can INDEED strive for exellence and be ambitious ... nothing wrong with that - the big no-no is BRAGGING about it. 🙂
The big no-no is being arrogant about it.
It's pretty much dead in the younger generation
@βιτψηασσνιγγα Så har du aldrig været i byen på et provins diskotek som udenfrakommende
That Scottish guy in Noma (with a man bun) is cool, he did some food episodes for VICE like 7 years ago (for example MUNCHIES Guide to Norway), and now he works here in Oslo I think.
A little too dark for me, this one.
Frost huh. That's a nice poem by him.
One of the best episodes. And such a beautiful country. I fall in love with it.
I have seen the chef who made the strawberry dish with flowers before where he had to try to stand in a hot dog cart for a day.
Yes, he's Halaigh Whelan-McManus, did some vids for VICE many years ago.
A normal person in Denmark pay 39% in tax not 60.
38%
@@REAL6 it entirely depends on which municipality you live in. between 37 and 39% is normal for an ordinary Dane. Not 60% and that was my point so thank you for your indifferent comment.
38 if you dont pay the 1% to the church through your taxes. Otherwise 39%
@@susannepomerantz7031 still depends on what place you live in Denmark...
He looks so comfortable and at ease in this episode.Sorely missed .
So that's the origin of Joaquin Phoenix joker laugh
35:55 when you hear "he is my friend or , she is my friend " usually means that she is fking the person . she/he is sucking or liking .
The reason he killed him self. Coming over to denmark.
One of the best episodes for me - oly Anthony could have a meal from a small vendor in the middle of Hanoi with Barack Obama - both great men. We miss you so much Anthony - R.I.P
Man, that 100 years old guy looks like he could be in his 50s! Incredible!
It is shocking that in Belgium no one knows about the countless crimes that the Belgians have committed in the Congo! This year (2024) the Belgian king (Filip) was going to visit Congo, and he failed to apologize and express regret to the Congolese people. Knowing that he is a direct descendant of Leopold II, that is for me as a Belgian, enormously shameful.
Excellent documentary, I got emotional while watching. Vietnam is my first ever international country that I visited & indeed it is a very beautiful country. I’m planning to be back this February to celebrate my birthday there and witness the beauty of Hanoi. 🪭💕🇻🇳
Nice to see Bourdain in my home town. Come to BH!
I like the scurffy dude he ate the hotdogs with. Funny guy
Yeah, but the way he patted that waitress on the face was really weird.
wow! just discovered the guy, and learned he’s already said the long goodbye. damn shame, but he got to walk and talk with Iggy which would be a gold star moment in anyone’s life. fair the well wandering spirit.
Redzepi is a total psycho in the kitchen (as seen in many clips from Noma/documentaries on Danish TV). The Noma burger (Popl) is overrated AF. Stand in line for an hour+. Get a boring soulless burger that could easily have been assembled by robots.
Make you on then
@@BeautyLilya Make your own* lmao
psycho? what are you talking about. He was extremely attentive about his staff. He made it important to say hello and talk to everyone. I was really surprised when i worked there back i 2008, i was just someone they would call when they had wedding or the like upstairs(around 2-3 times a month while a studied), so i didnt even work in the same kitchen as him. However he knew my name after the first time i was there and made sure everyone was taking care of. That shitty documentory was doing everything it could to try and find dirt. It had nothing to do with the actual work enviroment
Oh ? So is Gordon Ramsay and hundreds of other big chefs ..... Get Real
@@thormadsen3173 I guess, watch the stuff on DR about him. He came off as a complete psycho. Yelling at people I guess is normal in kitchens, but that was just on another level. I don't know the title of the program. it's based on that program and other clips that I have my opinion.
So many insights. What a pleasure.
If I am not mistaken, this was the last episode he filmed before sadly ending his life in Europe shortly after.
BAR DO CARECA
wow never knew how homosexual he was until the end of this episode but i still love tony
cuts raw fish and serves it to you = best sushi in the world
Strange to see Anthony around the kitchen without all the abbab
Gold
food experience...? do you know what is the real food experience ? have no food !
u okay?
Are you suggesting the real food experience is found in the middle of a war zone?
@@mattfrenden1000 no need war zone, have no money is enough
@@sebastianlaw22 sure I am , what about you ?
@@albe78gas Ah, I see. So the real experience is found when you're foraging the raw ingredients for your meal. I think you may be right, it probably tastes better when you do that.
Porto é a cidade do clube da corrupção
best episoded are with both of them. love this
Hygge.
Yes. Very hyg and merry back jul og glad nytår
@DoctorrMetal tusintak (if I remember correctly lol)
Lmao, 2 non-Danes trying to type Danish to each other is funny.

Politics is a good way to kill a vibe
Anthony Bourdain thank you so much for promoting our culinary culture.
Being trapped in a room with those “ writers “ is a definition of hell .
You don't want to believe in democracy when you don't get what you want ? You clearly never believed in democracy in the first place
there never was or will be a better mate to do this. tony just had a nose for capturing life itself.

Creed is the worst band in the world! Cant believe what I hear right now XD
ew yotam 🤮🤮
Tony sees the world in a way, not everyone can comprehend and for that thank you forever Anthony. Rest well.
Season 10, Episode 1 should be from 2017. Bourdain had previously filmed in the city state in 2003 (A Cook's Tour), 2007 (No Reservations), 2011 (The Layover) and then 2017 (Parts Unknown).
So, did they eventually marry ? 🙂
