Hans, you truly set "The Standard" for all metal detecting videos! Great photography, blend of digging, talking and scenery. Keep up the good work. Hope you find that silver or gold thimble this year!
Hans, I'm so glad I found your channel; simply the best detecting videos on TH-cam. The art that you put into producing them is excellent for *any* type of video on TH-cam. I've not spoken German in 20 years but you've inspired me . . . I have to try and understand your videos recorded in your native language!
hello mark, I'm glad that you found my channel, too :) thank you for watching my videos and for your kind words about them. I'm happy to hear you like them that much. I hope you find my german videos easy to understand:) all the best, hans
I appreciate your inbetweenies..you must be an artist...the stills of your environs show great depth, and your careful English is a treat to hear.. you include the audience in your finds, that finds you a thousand champions, cheering you on..I salute you! (And you look a lot like a friend of mine, from long ago..)
Another wonderful video Hans, the scenery, wild flowers and the beautiful birds with their song in the background, lovely! I wonder if the bronze mystery item is part of a brooch? The ring gets my imagination working, I wonder who wore it and how did it end up in the field? The Napoleonic button is a great find but everything is. Take care my friend, good luck 🍀and happy hunting Mary-Ellen 🌞👍🙋
hello mary-ellen, thank you my friend. I'm happy to hear you like my new video! I really enjoy spring. it's wondeful. I also think that the bronze item could be part of a crossbow fibula. . I will keep you all posted about the definition! all the best and take care, too, hans
This is what I love about detecting. I dont have to find a silver coin to be intrigued. I love the history behind the objects. Its telling a story of the people that used to be here. The people are long gone but the objects they lost is almost exactly at the place they lost it. -its almost like time has stopped and the people of the history live forever. Take the christmas ball part. Emagine. How did it end up in the middle of this field? What is the story? What children once glanced upon it hanging from a christmas three? What did they get for christmas this year? Who was the people? The cristmas ball was once hanging from a three in a room filled with joy, smiles and laughter. This is the real treasure. I love your work my friend Hans, and I light up every time you post a new video. Thank you so much for all the work you put into it, its really highly appreciated. I wish you a wonderful easter my friend. Best regards from Kim Erik, Norway.
hello! i totally agree.. we are finding history and we get short and tiny glimpses into the life of long gone people, it's very interesting and one can learn so much from it! thank you for watching my videos and for your kind comments my friend! I'm happy you like them! happy easter to you, too! all the best, hans
Another great video. Love the finds. Clearly you put some thought into your videos, unlike a lot of other TH-camrs. I love the peace and serenity, the beautiful landscapes, the flowers, and your choice of music. Great work.
hello larry, thank you my friend, I'm happy you like my videos! i have a lot of fun filming my videos. I don't like to ham up my videos with dramatic music or stressful, pseudo dynamic editing. . .I leave that to others. I want to convey the peacefulness of the hobby :) thank you for watching!
I really appreciate the naturist element you add to your videos Hans. The bird feeding on the flowers was beautiful. It really adds to the overall experience of your video. Great hunt too!
Thanks for a particularly beautiful video, it's nice to hear the birds announcing Spring! The Napoleonic button was great, too, funny how such simple objects evoke great events.
Quite excellent video, Hans, regardless of the finds. Your camera work continues to move into the professional quality..... smooth, seamless, and razor-sharp. After watching so many others on YT, yours are simply a pleasure. Cheers! Al
Hi Hans, Im trying to catch up on all your great videos, and I see others here have said it, but I wanted to take a moment to compliment you on your excellent video and editing work. Your shots cut smoothly and your videos come across as peaceful and serene as the areas you're hunting. Im sure it takes a lot of thought and time to create them. Thanks for the inspiration and happy hunting to you.
hello lee, thank you for your kind comment and appreciation! I'm happy to hear you like my videos :) thank you for watching my channel! all the best to you and please stay tuned, hans
Another beautiful video Hans...and some fantastic finds. Very nice new field to explore. Can't wait to see the next when you make it back to that location. Loved the scenery. Your video "Wonderful Castle of Steckelberg" was excellent. I remember watching it when you first uploaded it, but just watched it again. Great history, video, and scenery. What can I say, I admire your talents :) Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into your video's for us to enjoy! I personally appreciate it. Looking forward to your next. John
hello john, thank you for your kind words and for re watching my castle video :) It makes me happy and means a lot to me that you enjoy watching my videos! thank you for your support! all the best, GL&HH! hans
Hans, I've been to Europe twice. On the first time in 1997, and, although I wanted to do this a lot, I didn't have time to look carefully into the ground, the into land of Europe, since I was traveling with my wife on a twenty-day tour that left Madrid, passed through France, England, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and in Rome we took the plane back to Manaus, where we live. On the second time, however, we spent three days in Amsterdam, where, waiting for an urban bus to travel from the hotel to a part of the city full of restaurants, I could examine the ground around the bus stop and delight myself in seeing the land and the creeping weeds at the edge of a stream with a lake where a mother duck swam with her chicks. Now, I have found your channel and spend hours watching you in the native woods of Germany, land of my ancestors who were farmers back in the mid 19th century, digging the earth through the fallen leaves of the German trees, and you can’t imagine how gratifying it is to me, especially because you are digging up and bringing back to our day our own history and I know that this is exactly what you are looking for. This is the certainty of life, this is the very testimony of everything we look for in our very ourselves. This is what, in school history classes, teachers seek to pass on the notion and emotion of ancestry to their students and normally they can’t do. Thank you so much for letting me see so closely the ground floor that runs in my veins.
love your videos alot Hans. walking in the goldfields of the Australian bush is haunting. you can almost feel the presence of the old diggers. walking on those fields must not only be amazing but almost eeire with so much ancient activity. great finds congrats
i'm happy to hear that steve! thank you for watching! finding ancient remains is indeed a strange feeling! being the first one to touch a coin after the owner lost it 2000 years ago is incredible. thank you for your kind comment!
Fantastic video as usual. I love how you stage your shots. It feels like I am right with you during your finds. I also enjoy the history lessons you bring to the video. GL and HH.
Another awesome video! Thank you for sharing this with us! I love the little horse and I love seals! It's so amazing that you've found evidence of the Neoplolen army moving thru that area. All the very best to you and happy treasure hunting!
hello mary, I'm happy to hear you like the finds I made :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment! I'm waiting for my frist french silver coin from the napoleonic era :) all the best, hans
Hey, Hans... Awesome job! You're doing really great at identifying your finds and they are great! Your filming, as always, is superb and the different angles must be tons of additional work, both in the field and in the editing room, but they do not go unnoticed! Keeping up with the flower transition, I see.... beautiful. You make me smile with your excitement and enthusiasm... You might have been fooled but, at least it wasn't a button! Keep at it, you'll prove your theory of a battle field in no time, I'm in your corner! Beste, Anna
hello anna, thank you for watching and for your kind words. the longer I do this hobby the more I learn about the finds which makes it easier to recognize and explain the finds on the field :) I try to vary with the camera work and the editing as I believe it makes the videos more watchable and interesting. It's a lot of work though but I can't go back to more modest filming anymore. . all the best, hans ps: I've got 250 comments so far on this video alone. please excuse that I'm not able to respond promptly.
hallo max, das freut mich zu hören. es hat spaß gemach diesen frechen häher zu filmen. er hat sich überhaupt nicht stören lassen :D danke fürs anschauen und für deinen netten kommentar! LG, hans
Great finds. I enjoy your videos very much. The editing you do that keeps things moving make your videos some of the best on utube. Your knowledge of your finds is impressive. Keep up the great work.
Great hunt Hans. this permission looks promising. great finds and hope there will be more great finds for you to discover. Look forward to your next. GL and HH. Tony
hello tony, I'm glad you like my hunt :) thank you for watching! I think so, too. . It's a great field. unfortunately it is under crops already ;D thank you for watching and for your kind wishes my friend! all the best, GL&HH! hans
I thought also that you had found something awesome before you picked up the draw handle! Thank you for taking the time to get the great camera work, it definitely makes it great viewing along with the nature shots! It improves each time !
You had an awesome day and finding that well loved thimble was the icing on the cake!! I've said it to you once before I hope you find more relics to tell the history of your fields. I'm still hoping for that golden thimble. What a grand day that will be!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the hunt with you!
hello pamela, thank you for watching and for your kind words about my video! I'm happy to hear you like it! a golden thimble that would be amazing :) all the best, hans
thank you for watching! I'm happy to hear you like the finds I made! the weather was indeed nice. . I almost had to take off my sweater... all the best, hans
hello mark, glad you like the finds i made :) thank you for watching! I only recognized the christmas ball part because I've found one before. all the best, hans
Hi Hans, thnks again for the nive video. You always detect on such beautiful dirt, in my country it`s mostly heavy clay and never so fine as you`re soil.
the soil is indeed very enjoyable to dig at the moment. but soon it will be under crops and i need to find other places to detect. . thank you for watching!
Hi Hans. Was soll ich sagen.
Greetings from Canada
Hans. I laughed and cried at the same time when you showed the drawer handle in the soil. It looked so right for Celtic, I realized at the same time you did what it actually was. This won't of been your first time to be caught out. Gold coloured buttons and bottle tops do it every time for me. Enjoy watching your videos and seeing the scenery.
hello my friend, thank you for sharing the thrill with me in the drawer handle case :D . . .it was such a funny moment! but that is part of metal detecting and I enjoyed it as well. thank you for watching and for your kind comment! all the best, hans
I'm glad to hear that my friend. thank you for watching and for your support! I get used to making my videos..It doesn't take too much time and work anymore... all the best, hans
What an amazing field! I especially love the Napoleonic button. Very beautiful! (I always wonder who these items specifically belonged to back then. It's so interesting.) Great finds, Hans! Always enjoy your videos :o) Good luck with more finds and hopefully you'll find a silver or gold thimble one day ;)
hello natalee, the field is great. unfortunately it is under crops already :D I have to wait I guess...the thought where the items come from and whom they belonged to is always on my mind when finding history. it's so exciting! thank you for watching and for your kind words and wishes :)
What a great hunt! The spring footage is superior filming! your finds are fantastic, sorry your drawer pull wasnt what you were hoping for but what rush when your right about a find. The uniform button what a tale it could tell! All the best!
thank you for watching and for your kind comment! I'm glad you like my video! It doesn't take too long..I'm gradually used to film and edit :) all the best, hans
Fantastic video and finds Hans. Beautiful scenery nice to see spring has finally arrived. I must say the drawer pull did at first glance look Celtic, its only a matter of time before you find it.. All the best GL&HH. Johnny.
hello johnny, thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear you like my video :) I enjoy spring time very much. . it's one of my favourite seasons. haha. . thank you for confirming that it resembled a celtic find. . I felt a bit silly ;) thank you for watching! all the best, GL&HH! hans
Hi Hans..Love your videos..i directed my young nephew in italy to your videos to learn how to dig properly and care for the earth and the artifacts you dig...I think he got the bug last summer when he came over to the USA and did some digging with me..Wish we had that kind of history to uncover here...but i;m sure he will find a lot in italy..Best of Luck
hello mark, I'm glad to hear that :) thank you for watching my videos! I also started detecting when I was young. but nobody told me how to do it responsibly back then. I'm just glad that I didn't detect archaeological sites. . all the best, hans
So wonderful to find another excellent metal detectorist doing videos! Being a bit stuck here in midwestern America, I have to live through the much more interesting finds of my European counterparts. Some interesting finds here, that's for sure! Utterly love the horse. With the bronze piece, I too was going to say Roman-style fibula brooch, but there's no attachment for a pin visible. As the edges of the crossbar of the "t" look incomplete, I find myself agreeing it might be a stirrup part. Many more successful hunts to you!
hello! welcome on my channel! I'm happy to hear you like my videos and the finds I make. thank you for watching and for sharing your thoughts about the mystery T-shaped object... all the best and please stay tuned! hans
Hans... You are an artifact-finding machine!! I mostly view two detectorists, you and one other. Both German. As ever, another fine job. I'm sure both of us are looking forward to your next outing/production.bc
hello brian, haha. . thank you my friend :) I'm indeed looking forward to my next hunt...the weather is great here at the moment! thank you for watching and for your kind comment! all the best, hans
It looks like you have a really nice "hot spot". Your silver flower item appears to have a prongs for a stone setting, if you hadnt already noticed. I never find jewelry with the stone intact, just the prongs and tips. Great video as always, and do keep up the scenic shots and wildlife footage. That is really great content as well.
it's a promising field. unfortunately it is under crops already :D could well be that there was a stone in the middle. . hard to say. usually the gems are missing thanks to the plow... It makes me happy to hear that you like my videos! thank you for watching them :)
i love your videoes, mr white ears. You live in a landscape exactly like mine, except about 2 weeks ahead in nature developement. I at 52'N, england. Keep up the excellent work you do.
Hi Hans and another great hunt my friend. Wow great finding that little Horse :-) Fantastic button find Hans and a really good find that goes along with your gun fragment find. Ah the old Gold Fool coins don't you just hate it when that happens lol but still a coin is a coin my friend. Love seeing the old bag seals as I have only found a few of them, that drawer handle would have got me going too Hans. The T shaped artifact looks like something from a Roman Fibula maybe? Love the Silver Flower Hans that is a very nice little find. Keep up the great work my friend and catch up soon. ATB GL & HH LittleJohn Metal Detecting
hello john my friend, thank you for watching and for your kind comments :) I'm happy to hear you like the finds I made. aluminium bronze is a mean material :D It fooled me on my last hunt again. but the most shocking moment for me was indeed the "celtic double headed dragon" haha. . I'm always full of anticipation when detecting. . like a naive child :D . .but I enjoy even these moments! the T shaped object has to be ancient. maybe from a crossbow fibula? I will keep you all posted :) all the best and good luck and happy hunting to you! hans
Nicely paced and edited video with high production values. Quite the best on here. Your enthusiasm and excitement are contagious and the information you provide is interesting. I normally skip to the finds, but in your case I watch the whole video. Thanks for the trouble you must take to upload films of this quality. Subbed.
hello john, welcome on my channel! thank you for watching, subscribing and for your kind words about my videos! I'm happy to hear you like them! all the best and please stay tuned, hans
Thx for this awesome Video. Videowork and editing is top notch you just earned yourself a new subscriber. Great information on the finds as well. I enjoyed every Second of the Video and those close up pictures after the Cleaning is something l would love to see in other detecting videos. Keep up that Great Work. Cheers, Mike
hello mike! welcome on my channel! thank you for watching, subscribing and for your kind words about my videos! I'm happy to hear you like them! It's great that you appreciate my extra effort to shoot the close up pictures. I want the viewer to see the details on the finds as well as I see them. all the best! hans
As always Hans a brilliant video, some super finds again. The Napoleonic button was a great find and as you stated links with the gun fragment you recovered earlier. Look forward to your next hunt, all the best mate as always and HH Charlie
hello charlie, thank you for watching and for your kind comment! the napoleonic button is a great find and it gives me clues :) all the best, GL&HH! hans
hello charlie, thank you for watching and for your kind comment! the napoleonic button is a great find and it gives me clues :) all the best, GL&HH! hans
Another enjoyable video, beautifully crafted. The flower looks very much like a Myosotis or (British) "forget-me-not" from the German ,Vergissmeinnicht, possibly a love token of some kind.
thank you, I'm glad to hear you like my video :) thank you for watching! interesting! thank you for sharing your thoughts about the flower piece! sounds plausible!
hallo marius, freut mich, dass dir die funde gefallen! die silbermünze ist echt schön! es ist auch die erste einseitig geprägte münze die ich je gefunden habe :) LG, hans
Great Hunt my friend. Lots of great finds. Congrats on your silvers. Video production is top notch. Cant wait to see what you find next. Hope all is well and as always,,,,GL/HH
Absolutely wonderful finds as always Hans!! The ancient brass item has the look of a Roman fibula about it but I think it is something else, maybe part of a tool? All the same I look forward to the next video.
hello brian, thank you my friend. I'm glad you like my new video! thank you also for watching and for sharing your thoughts about the bronze item. It has to be ancient and I think you could be right with your fibula assumption! all the best, hans
18:36 it looks like a buckle. heya. i see that the fields are kinda sloping(great for runoff items) but if you want to find encampments you should look at flat areas ontop of rises. Most likely place to camp and see full views around. Also gullys collect alot of item too. cheers for these great videos
hello my friend, yes it does, I agree... but something is telling me that it is ancient. maybe part of a crossbow fibula.. we will see..I will keep you all posted! thank you for watching and for your kind words!
This was a great hunt, my friend. The T shape item looks like a part of a shoe Buckle to me. Take care and may you find gold and silver on your next hunt.
hello my friend, glad you like my hunt, thank you for watching! i agree that the t-shaped thing looks like a buckle..but it has something ancient to it..maybe part of a crossbow fibula. . .thank you for your kind words and wishes :) all the best, hans
Hans, Yes another great video with exciting finds. I too love your video work, editing and inclusion of the beautiful landscape around you. Do you have a camera person? I wonder how you get the close up shots of a find and you are holding the find with both hands? Very professionally produced by showing the find after being dug and then the cleaned item. It makes for pleasurable viewing. Good luck hunting and can't wait until the next video. ~Dolly
hello dolly, glad you like my video and the finds I made :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment! I film everything alone. it's all a matter of editing :) all the best, hans
thank you my friend :) interesting! I will google it. I've got a message from a viewer who says that it is from hessia: kurfürstentum hessen-kassel unter landgraf willhelm II von 1821- 1847...I will check your hints :) thank you for watching!
thank you for watching :) I found one of these things before and some skilled viewers recognized it back then. now it took me a closer look at home to see what it is :) all the best, hans
thank you for watching and for your kind words about my photography . . .I think it has to be an ancient artifact, too. . maybe part of a crossbow fibula. .
LG, hans

thank you for watching and for your kind words. the longer I do this hobby the more I learn about the finds which makes it easier to recognize and explain the finds on the field :) I try to vary with the camera work and the editing as I believe it makes the videos more watchable and interesting. It's a lot of work though but I can't go back to more modest filming anymore. .
all the best,
hans
ps: I've got 250 comments so far on this video alone. please excuse that I'm not able to respond promptly.

Hi Hans, thnks again for the nive video. You always detect on such beautiful dirt, in my country it`s mostly heavy clay and never so fine as you`re soil.
the soil is indeed very enjoyable to dig at the moment. but soon it will be under crops and i need to find other places to detect. .
thank you for watching!

salut :)
thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend!
greetings from germany, all the best and a bientot,

Hans. I laughed and cried at the same time when you showed the drawer handle in the soil. It looked so right for Celtic, I realized at the same time you did what it actually was. This won't of been your first time to be caught out. Gold coloured buttons and bottle tops do it every time for me. Enjoy watching your videos and seeing the scenery.
hello my friend, thank you for sharing the thrill with me in the drawer handle case :D . . .it was such a funny moment! but that is part of metal detecting and I enjoyed it as well.
thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
all the best,
hans
Hans, great finds! I truly enjoy your videos....you put a lot of work into them.
Happy Hunting! Rob
I'm glad to hear that my friend. thank you for watching and for your support! I get used to making my videos..It doesn't take too much time and work anymore...

Wonderful and fun finds today. Good for you! Merry Ann from Minnesota
Beautiful blue sky. Great finds too. Amazing that the brass horse has all his legs and tail intact. 😎 GL&HH!
it was a wonderful day and I enjoyed it very much to be out and detecting! thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend!
What an amazing field! I especially love the Napoleonic button. Very beautiful! (I always wonder who these items specifically belonged to back then. It's so interesting.) Great finds, Hans! Always enjoy your videos :o) Good luck with more finds and hopefully you'll find a silver or gold thimble one day ;)
hello natalee,
the field is great. unfortunately it is under crops already :D I have to wait I guess...the thought where the items come from and whom they belonged to is always on my mind when finding history. it's so exciting!
thank you for watching and for your kind words and wishes :)
What a great hunt! The spring footage is superior filming! your finds are fantastic, sorry your drawer pull wasnt what you were hoping for but what rush when your right about a find. The uniform button what a tale it could tell! All the best!
hello david,
glad you like my video :) thank you for watching it! haha. . what a waste of energy for a drawer pull ;)
all the best,
hans

Fantastic video and finds Hans. Beautiful scenery nice to see spring has finally arrived. I must say the drawer pull did at first glance look Celtic, its only a matter of time before you find it.. All the best GL&HH.
Johnny.
hello johnny,
thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear you like my video :) I enjoy spring time very much. . it's one of my favourite seasons. haha. . thank you for confirming that it resembled a celtic find. . I felt a bit silly ;)
thank you for watching! all the best, GL&HH!

This is lovely, Hans...a pleasure to view
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed watching it. I remember that beautiful spring day well. thank you for watching!
Another Enjoyable Video Hans. Nice finds too.
thank you for watching my friend :)
Hi Hans..Love your videos..i directed my young nephew in italy to your videos to learn how to dig properly and care for the earth and the artifacts you dig...I think he got the bug last summer when he came over to the USA and did some digging with me..Wish we had that kind of history to uncover here...but i;m sure he will find a lot in italy..Best of Luck
hello mark,
I'm glad to hear that :) thank you for watching my videos!
I also started detecting when I was young. but nobody told me how to do it responsibly back then. I'm just glad that I didn't detect archaeological sites. .
all the best,
hans
So wonderful to find another excellent metal detectorist doing videos! Being a bit stuck here in midwestern America, I have to live through the much more interesting finds of my European counterparts. Some interesting finds here, that's for sure! Utterly love the horse. With the bronze piece, I too was going to say Roman-style fibula brooch, but there's no attachment for a pin visible. As the edges of the crossbar of the "t" look incomplete, I find myself agreeing it might be a stirrup part. Many more successful hunts to you!
hello!
welcome on my channel! I'm happy to hear you like my videos and the finds I make. thank you for watching and for sharing your thoughts about the mystery T-shaped object...
all the best and please stay tuned!
hans
Another quality video Han's.. Spring looks very nice where you are. Still cloudy and rotten here in the US. (NY)
thank you my friend :) spring has arrived and it's so pleasant. . I wish you a soon coming spring!
all the best,
hans
Hans... You are an artifact-finding machine!! I mostly view two detectorists, you and one other. Both German. As ever, another fine job. I'm sure both of us are looking forward to your next outing/production.bc
hello brian,
haha. . thank you my friend :) I'm indeed looking forward to my next hunt...the weather is great here at the moment!
thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
all the best,
hans
It looks like you have a really nice "hot spot". Your silver flower item appears to have a prongs for a stone setting, if you hadnt already noticed. I never find jewelry with the stone intact, just the prongs and tips. Great video as always, and do keep up the scenic shots and wildlife footage. That is really great content as well.
it's a promising field. unfortunately it is under crops already :D could well be that there was a stone in the middle. . hard to say. usually the gems are missing thanks to the plow...
It makes me happy to hear that you like my videos! thank you for watching them :)
So good to see your videos coming up again on my subscription. Great video and love the hunt.
thank you for watching my videos and for being a loyal subscriber :)

thank you my friend. it all adds up :)
Fantastic finds, thanks for posting this video.

the tree is indeed a giant!
thank you for watching!

Metal Detecting
hello john my friend,
thank you for watching and for your kind comments :) I'm happy to hear you like the finds I made. aluminium bronze is a mean material :D It fooled me on my last hunt again. but the most shocking moment for me was indeed the "celtic double headed dragon" haha. . I'm always full of anticipation when detecting. . like a naive child :D . .but I enjoy even these moments!
the T shaped object has to be ancient. maybe from a crossbow fibula? I will keep you all posted :)
all the best and good luck and happy hunting to you!
hans
Heftige Runde Hans ... So eine Funddichte erlebt man nicht jeden Tag ! Viel Glück weiterhin...;-)

Nicely paced and edited video with high production values. Quite the best on here. Your enthusiasm and excitement are contagious and the information you provide is interesting.
I normally skip to the finds, but in your case I watch the whole video. Thanks for the trouble you must take to upload films of this quality. Subbed.

Hi Hans,
schöne Funde, besonders die 3 Pfennig :)
LG Marius
hallo marius,
freut mich, dass dir die funde gefallen! die silbermünze ist echt schön! es ist auch die erste einseitig geprägte münze die ich je gefunden habe :)

hans
Thanks for the information, happy with that! Greetings Gerhard
thank you for watching gerhard!
Absolutely wonderful finds as always Hans!! The ancient brass item has the look of a Roman fibula about it but I think it is something else, maybe part of a tool? All the same I look forward to the next video.
hello brian,
thank you my friend. I'm glad you like my new video! thank you also for watching and for sharing your thoughts about the bronze item. It has to be ancient and I think you could be right with your fibula assumption!
all the best,
hans
18:36 it looks like a buckle. heya. i see that the fields are kinda sloping(great for runoff items) but if you want to find encampments you should look at flat areas ontop of rises. Most likely place to camp and see full views around. Also gullys collect alot of item too. cheers for these great videos
hello my friend,
yes it does, I agree... but something is telling me that it is ancient. maybe part of a crossbow fibula.. we will see..I will keep you all posted!
thank you for watching and for your kind words!
This was a great hunt, my friend. The T shape item looks like a part of a shoe Buckle to me. Take care and may you find gold and silver on your next hunt.
hello my friend,
glad you like my hunt, thank you for watching! i agree that the t-shaped thing looks like a buckle..but it has something ancient to it..maybe part of a crossbow fibula. . .thank you for your kind words and wishes :)
all the best,
hans
I like how you add in the sound of the detector over the parts when you show the cleaned up finds ;)
I'm happy to hear that :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Fantastic finds Hans👊🏻
thank you for watching! glad you like the finds :)
Beautiful finds !😀
Hans,
Yes another great video with exciting finds. ~Dolly
hello dolly,
glad you like my video and the finds I made :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment! I film everything alone. it's all a matter of editing :)
all the best,
hans
Congratulations on the finds! The W on the leadbagseal seems to resemble the coins from belgium during the 19th century... Maybe that direction?
thank you my friend :) interesting! I will google it. I've got a message from a viewer who says that it is from hessia:
kurfürstentum hessen-kassel unter landgraf willhelm II von 1821- 1847...I will check your hints :)
thank you for watching!
Beautiful hunt!
thank you for watching :) I'm happy to hear you like it!
Great video....How on earth did you figure out it was a piece of a Christmas ball. It seems so frar removed from the items you usually dig up.
thank you for watching :)
I found one of these things before and some skilled viewers recognized it back then. now it took me a closer look at home to see what it is :)
all the best,
hans
what a wonderful hunt, Hans! :)
glad you like the hunt! thank you for watching my friend :)
Brilliant photography as usual, some fantastic finds, could the object possibly be part of a roman fibula broach not sure 🤔
thank you for watching and for your kind words about my photography . . .I think it has to be an ancient artifact, too. . maybe part of a crossbow fibula. .
Hallo,
LG,
