If only you still made as many videos as you once did but how can I possibly complain when we're still getting anything at all!!! Everything you do and say is always enlightening and I learn something new every time I watch your videos. Thank you Hans.
You have made some amazing finds over the years but this is amongst the very best. Something which clearly meant a lot to somebody all those years ago. Excellent!
Hey, *love* that Hans - it's so special when we learn something new about history frommetal detecting hey? I always remember seeing my first spindle whorl, and scratching my head, wondering about what it was, and where it 'fitted in' to medieval life. The same with crotal bells, clog clasps, pipe tampers... The list goes on and on hey,my friend?... Thanks a lot for adding to my list. 🙏🏻 Take care my friend, Bobby 👊
Wow. That is such a fantastic thing to find. I just love the interm scene of the baby deer and the Blue Heron. Aw. Absolutely beautiful. The Heron is a bird that i love very much. To see the deer so chilled out and the Heron just being is so awesome. Danke 🙂🙂❤🤗
A really fun, entertaining, and educating. You said oracle stick and my first thought was the novel, Lord of the Flies, and the talking stick. I've read of early North and South American tribes also used oracle sticks. Learning never stops.
I am excited for you Sir, you are a rare and wonderful human being, who has a fantastic channel. Maybe the Oracle Stick was being used to ask the War God Tiw if an attack would be successful? I have studied ancient Western History for decades, and you have a magnificent talent for storytelling. I wish you continued success, and joy. Thank you!
Exciting news! The inclusion of Rose number [140] beautifully symbolizes our collaborative efforts in this creative garden at CoinEra. Let's continue nurturing this shared space together! 🌹🌷🌼 Thank you for being an integral part of it! 😊💖
Fascinating! Congrats on the finding Hans. Funny how something so, essentially, uninteresting to look at can shine a light upon a world you potentially never even knew existed.
G'day Hans Great to see you again. Higher Power and Faith are part of my day. Thank you for sharing about ORACLE STICKS and how they were used in GERMAN culture from years past. ANDY
Isn't that the field with all the Roman coins? Wouldn't a Roman origin be more likely? Why did the item appear again today? The future is becoming increasingly dark. I would love to know what these special symbols meant back then.
Super find, very smal metal tube that's identifide "oracle stick", possibly a few thousand years old. There is a saying working the oracle that means doing the impossible. Well done Hans, to think this little metal stick was turned over thousads of times untill you detected it.
my pleasure! you are right, I somehow didn't speak a lot about that. the oracle stick is made of bronze and I assume it dates to the time of most of the coins I find on that field and that is 4th-5th century B.C.
What a fantastic find and what a scary responsibility for the owner! (It made me think of the Druid "Getafix" from the Asterix comics) 😆 Thanks for sharing Hans. Be well
What a terrific find. Your videos are always so well done. April's Fool's had me going until I saw how neat the stones under the roots were. I knew that could never happen. But you had me for a minute. When I saw this title, I thought you had found a meteorite, but this is way better !! I know an old West Indian woman who tosses and reads bones. I don't put much by it, but some of my Jamaican friends swear she can tell the future !!LOL Always enjoy your posts. Thanks Hans
Very interesting. 😮 Here in the Southern US in the 1700's, there was something called "rattling the bones". I guess bones were intuitive back in the day. Wishing you happy hunting my friend. 😊😊
Great find. Brings my mind to different occasions where lots were tossed to for a direction or decision needed to be made in the scriptures. A bit different. More like the coin toss but still fascinating. Thanks for the history leason.
Thank you so much for the information, it was a fascinating story….. and thank you for a magistral acting lesson in your last video 😄, you got me completely there Hans! 😉
Very interesting! similar to Scandinavian rune sticks or even bones, all ways of predicting the future. Thank you for sharing this with us Hans, great find, top man!
Interesting video Hans! I’ve never found one myself, but if I do atleast I know what it is! Could easily be mistaken for something of little historical interest. Take care! Marc.
Thank you for sharing this great find. Nice video format too. Doesnt have to be always on the field with live diging. I'm gonna check your Instagram see if you put a close up picture of the object. Take care.
I did have to check the date on the calendar... fool me once... ;) Always I look forward to your posts.
😂😂😂😂😂
I did not know about oracle sticks. Thanks for the education Hans.

What a wonderful piece of history. It makes we wonder how many other finds might have similar importance but remain unidentified!
Thank you, Hans! Another beautiful video ❤
So, It's like an ancient Magic 8 Ball? Cool find!
Interesting, Hans. Native Americans in the Pacific Northwest (USA) also made similar decisions and gambled using bones. Thanks for sharing.
Exciting news! The inclusion of Rose number [140] beautifully symbolizes our collaborative efforts in this creative garden at CoinEra. Let's continue nurturing this shared space together! 🌹🌷🌼 Thank you for being an integral part of it! 😊💖

A wonderful find !
I have used dowsing rods, and think it is a way of clarifying what you already know .
Thank you for the history behind your find
Very interesting indeed! Almost like casting runes, which was a form of divination, guidance.
What a great find!!

You could have given me 1000 chances to figure out what that was and I never would have figured it out.

Wow. Congratulations on this unusual and rare find.
That's absolutely awesome! Such a neat find!
Congratulations. That's lovely.
Hans!so interesting.thank you my friend.
Good catch on that piece. People used to throw deer phalanges bones to cast the future supposedly. I used to have a set that I carried, just in case!
Answers are always nice. thank You.
Very interesting video. Thank you.
I see a connection with dowsing, very interesting, thank you.
