I just got mine in today (mallet). The build quality is exceptional. Great looking putter (I'm gonna 3 putt no matter what so may as well look good doing it)
Everything looks great, except the fact that they aren't a fraction of the cost of other putters. They offer less in the way of technology than other putters in the $300-350 range. We were constantly told that the reason putter cost went up so much is because of all of the technology going into them. The only technology on it, is the cnc machining. There is no tungsten to add weight to the low corners. It's a very basic design more for the looks than anything. The only added weight is the steel angled pieces on the back which are somewhat low but don't seem strategically placed to keep the weight low. If they were going for the lowest center of weight possible, the steel pieces would be on the bottom of the club. There is no way that they spend 6 hours to machine the heads. I work for a company that does a lot of cnc work. Large pieces of steel with tons of precise holes and chamfered edges take a couple hours max. The aluminum head would take very little time to machine. I feel like this is a missed opportunity for Vice. This will possibly push more people away from there brand than it will bring people in. They will no longer be thought of the reasonably priced manufacture that can compete with the top brands. Instead they will be priced the same as the top brands but competing with the mid tiers. To me, these putters look like they would be comparable to the Cleveland Huntington Putters but for a premium. I saw that they have new irons and wedges as well. Wedges priced the same as Cleveland with fewer options for customization. Irons priced the same as cobra forged irons. I could get forged tec anywhere from $1100-$1300 depending on whether I want chrome or black (not offered through vice). Why would I spend $1200 on vice irons (more if I move away from the vice branded grip and shafts).
@@adamkapner4137 I don't care about the customization. I bought a Cobra Agera Arm lock for $200 new. That gives me $150 to customize it myself if I please. It also has a lot more tech involved than just a cnc milled face.
this might be a dumb question but do the differently angled and textured milled lines converging in the middle alter ball path on a not perfectly centered hit?
Is that the 120g brushed shaft in the VGP01 you feature in this video? I'm ordering one and want to confirm. 120g or 140g are the options. I really like the hosel too. I don't care for the sound of the 02. This is a brilliant move by Vice. I really like the customization options for both models and at minimal or no extra cost. A fully customized putter for $300USD approx is pretty good value IMHO. Oh and I really like your channel by the way.
Is this a review or a commercial Alex ??? Also, fyi…$300 is not a fraction of the price of other brands. Either way I’m interested to see what @vice #vice does with clubs.
An old history professor of mine once told me that the reason why there's problems in the world is because people try to do things they're not good at. The British should not try to make wine and the French should not try to make beer. This is my first thought looking at these clubs.
319.99 on the black and neon green putter 269.99 0n the silver putter they are no cheaper than anyone else and the Irons are expensive not clubs that the working family man can afford
These are going to be coming out at a fraction of the price.............£319 is a fraction of the price if the other putters are £10k otherwise these are on a par with Scotty Cameron putters 🤷♂
"Fraction of the price"???? Vice Golf have become to expensive. Both the clubs and the balls (and bags etc.) You are paying too much for design and hype.
*I bet you never saw this coming…*
Nope.....lol. Although I'm not surprised.
Fair enough, Alex, however, as a lefty it was a waste of time watching and perhaps mention as part of a "review" at the beginning...

Spot on
Great take.
Nice looking putters but they are a bit pricey ($319 to $365 for the mallet) to compete with proven brands.
Love to see their wedges reviewed.
You can fully customize each putter without any added price. Can't do that with any other brand.

I love the blue mallet but the price is keeping me from buying currently as my Odyssey 11 is good
Looking forward to you testing the irons!
Interesting! I like the black putter as well! Thanks
Gotta try one. Since i started playing all i use is vice balls
not seeing that grip color on the site, how'd you end up with that one? Custom?
I looked for it too
Yeah, saw their ad for irons and putter. Quite a risk.
The 02 looks fantastic. I would definitely be interested in one.
Great review I really like the VG-02 Putter it looks solid 👍👍
Not cheap at all alex but the black 1 looks futuristic 👍
Way to go Vice. New irons look sweet
My favorite ball company let’s go!!!!!!!
this might be a dumb question but do the differently angled and textured milled lines converging in the middle alter ball path on a not perfectly centered hit?
Black one Looks so good 😍

Oh and I really like your channel by the way.
I had no expectation of a putter hitting the market from them, but it makes sense. if clubmakers make balls, then ball makers can make clubs.
Where did you get that black/green grip??
Looked on their site, fancy the mallet, bit they only offer a pistol grip ? How do you get the larger grip alex which i prefer ??
Nice design on the darker one.
Yes. We really needed another, non-disruptive, me-too technology golf club brand. Now we now where the ramped-up ball prices are used for.
I can’t see the triangle grip for the mallet putter?! I would buy it if I could get the same grip but they only offer the pistol grip. 😢
Love the channel and those putters look very interesting. 😊
PS You may want to check the URL's in your description, Only one of the five works! 😉
Please test Pocketbunker green-side bunker training aid.
So - will it replace your DF3??
Is this a review or a commercial Alex ??? Also, fyi…$300 is not a fraction of the price of other brands. Either way I’m interested to see what @vice #vice does with clubs.
I mean it is a fraction. Like 3/1 of what a Cleveland putter costs. 🤣
$250 to $350. . .not cheep.
An old history professor of mine once told me that the reason why there's problems in the world is because people try to do things they're not good at.
The British should not try to make wine and the French should not try to make beer.
This is my first thought looking at these clubs.
Are they toe down or face balanced ,what is the price range in Aus. Enjoy your channel as you diverse in all things golf
thank you 🙌🏼
319.99 on the black and neon green putter 269.99 0n the silver putter they are no cheaper than anyone else and the Irons are expensive not clubs that the working family man can afford
Thanks, you've saved me time looking them up. I'll pass.
Is lefty available?
Won’t be trying them, wont try my 15 year old spider for anything. As for the irons, too expensive
Nice if you have the $$$$…..nutty price ….average person can’t afford….
Too many adverts at the beginning, nearly exited vid...
I don’t control that… thanks!
Fair enough Alex, however, as a lefty, please advise at the beginning that it's not available in LH.
Looks like a p2 putter grip?
I assume he didn't know the price ahead of time or was just comparing to Scottie's
Went website…no left handed.
Saw it coming. Lol
Alex doesn't copy or follow he leads! I'll take his analysis over Good Good....or anyone else for that matter everyday
❤️
I Never realized Vice Golf is a german Brand
Yup.. when you order online the item ships from Germany
These are going to be coming out at a fraction of the price.............£319 is a fraction of the price if the other putters are £10k otherwise these are on a par with Scotty Cameron putters 🤷♂
Would you put it in the bag?
Yes
has
A fraction of the price 😅😅😅 Calm down you. Maybe get a good deal if we buy 10 🤣 PRICEYYYYY 😬
99/100th is still a fraction lol...Technically even 100/99th is a fraction if they are more expensive :P
@@dustinroberson1865 Oh Jesus 🙈 One of those weirdo sad acts 🍆💦
Way overpriced. And a typical overhyped and exaggerated review vid

The name of this channel seems to copying good good
Away and cry 🍆💦
