Please twll people not to waste money on big dollar big name balls. With very few exceptions it does not matter what u use.

If you test drivers, have the shop cover up all the logos. You don't want to know what you are hitting. You just want to compare the one you have to the one you just hit. Keep the better one and move on to the next. Eventually one club will remain and it's the best one for you regardless if it's a $500 club or a $50 demo from 2 years ago.

I've had the Stealth 2 for three years now. Is it longer off the tee? Probably not but easily the best driver I've ever had off the deck...my 3 wood is redundant.

Wrong!! i hit a 3 wood way better than a 5 wood!! but then i am a 7 handicap. I do agree about the putter though, 5 iron go with a hybrid and keep the 6 iron !!! keep the 60 it's the best club in my bag!!!

I have always loved Wilson. I think everyone should have a set of Wilson fg blades to at least practice with.

The reason Wilson is not put up there with the big brands these days is they went for cheaper clubs years ago with full sets of cheap club packages and really didn't push the Wilson staff side of their brand so people associated Wilson with BOBO clubs you could get at Walmart. Wilson staff which was supposed to be Wilson's golf brand gets kneecapped by cheap clubs having essentially the same name. Example of this is you can go to Academy and they have racks of Wilson Deep red clubs that are super cheap and look and feel it but not one Wilson staff club there, So you have Callaway, Taylormade and Cobra top tier clubs and then the Wilson name sitting there with junk.

Just bought the old OL LTDx 4H at 21°.... Could not believe the shots i was hitting with it, consistently getting 190 yards plus at a decent height too, and the feel/ sound of hitting it of the (near) centre everytime! Effortless! So much confidence 😍

Wilson is a great brand that’s been around a long time. Solid as a rock. Old school. Dependable. Reputable. You can’t ever go wrong with them.

I have d9 forged irons and love them

I only hit a driver maybe 5 or 6 times in a round and generally in play and pretty straight. I dont think 5 yards will do much for me. 2/3 of all golf shots happen inside 100 yards. That is my focus.

at $500 I feel Wilson is too high to get it in the hands of the vast majority. I like wilson, totally underrated.... but if you were at $399 you will get a ton to switch.

Great video Alex and well worth doing more of the same. I think Wilson is doing the correct thing. They have put a lot more into their driver research in the last 3 years or so, and now, they have come up with drivers to rival the other brands, but (importantly) at a lower cost. It will be interesting to see if Padraig Harrington is tempted away from his Titleist Driver now that Wilson has come up with some options. He plays Wilson Irons and Wedges but hasn't used a Wilson Driver. If he changed to Wilson Driver and then won on the Champions Tour (which is a real possibility), I think that would do great things for the prospect of more golfers using Wilson drivers. They definitely seem to be going in the right direction anyway. I really like the way that you got Peter to do the test rather than all these TH-cam pro's doing the assessments which doesn't really relate to us mid handicap golfers.

Love Wilson Staff clubs. I had D7 Forged irons and loved them. The new drivers look awesome.

Wilson lost their way from being the biggest to a brand with a poor image. Cheap box sets and poor marketing to lack of winners in the last 20 years or more. Poor management perhaps but now they've turned it around,afew more major winners to add to their 60 plus then off they go.

I personally Love Wilson. A bit of an underdog personna. The common golfer's driver. Great value.

Well I am 2meters and have HUGE hands. This grip would probably be a “normal” sized grip for me. I feel like the regular big size grips are still not big enough for me and cause me to tighten up too much.

I play with the Wilson staff D7 forged irons ,I hit them 15/20yrds further than my previous irons so perhaps I should try the new drivers

Got Wilson dynapower irons, I started golf last summer with very old what look like blades but had no idea . I was ready for fucking the game off genuinely. All I could do was drive the ball; I got these irons standard for Xmas and I can’t get enough, iv got from range just ans have been more days this month than not can’t wait for the weather for a round

The Accra Tour TZ6 350 ($350) vs. the Ventus stock non-Velocore, there’s a clear price difference. While I’m not sure of the exact differences in flight, tempo, and spin, you could have easily swapped the heads in 20 seconds to make this a true apples-to-apples comparison. Given the price, one would expect the Accra to outperform the Ventus in most metrics, especially since you called it a special shaft.

I don’t sown $500 on a driver, but what I would do is go out and get the 23 Dynapower that only cost $249 now and hit that about as good if not better then a new $500 dollar one.
