I just bought a Lazrus 9-degree driver and a 7 wood. Both came with nice head covers. Can’t wait until I recover from foot surgery so I can hit ‘em! I have Cobra T-Rails-hybrid irons-as my base set. Lazrus is about half price of other manufacturers, from what I’ve seen.
Joe. You are so right about these clubs! I'm also hitting 10-20 yards Further than with my irons. I'm 70 years old, a 15 handicap. They are so well made and feel solid. I had to go 3/4 swung on my 9 hybrid and still went past the hole. You really need to dial these in. I love them! I also just ordered the #2. I currently have 6-9. Btw, the 9 makes a distinct "doink" sound when hit. Strange but Lazrus says it's due to the angle of the face. Whatever. They're great clubs for the price!
I think that you can just add a regular 56 degree sand wedge to the bag and you’ll be fine - that’s what I did with my Wazaki hybrid set. But yes trying to use the hybrid sand wedge for bunker shots and rough around the green just doesn’t work. The sand wedge works fine as a chipper though.
Hi Joe, thanks for the video. I am a new golfer so looking to improve. Only problem with these hybrid irons is that they've become popular and it's hard to get right handed clubs from Amazon at the moment. Luckily I'm a lefty but even some of those are sold out at the moment!
Jeesh.. I must have hit it at the right time!! I got 3,000 + views on this video.. Maybe it's time they sponsor me on the weekend nobody cares hack tour!! LOL!!!!
Thanks Joe for your review. Picked up a Lazrus 27* 6H. Looking to replace my old 26* 5i (170) or 29* 6i (160). Most reviews I’ve seen have them going further than their iron counterparts so I’m hoping it replaces my 5i. I’m going to the course today to see which one it replaces. If I like it I’ll probably go ahead and pick up the 32* 7H and 36* 8H from Lazrus.
Hi Joe... I'm looking at buying a set of these. Being in Australia its a bit of a gamble buying straight off an E-shop............ are they any good? Reputable company?
@@joedillon3650 - Well I've had the Lazrus clubs for a couple of months now. and sadly I dont like them. :-( . Picked up a set of Calloway Diablo irons for $200.... they're so much better.
It really depends on the yardage. But I am really able to control that 3/4 swing pretty well. The wedges were the last thing to come out of my bag. But if you are confident with your current wedges. I would leave them in too.

These hybrids are amazing. The ‘24 version are even nicer with better shaft and grip.
Thanks Joe just started using ELEVEN Hybrids here in UK and same for me, loving them 😂
After trying the #7, I ordered a set of ELEVEN hybrids as well. Both my confidence and my results have gotten so much better.

@@USClight I definitely hit them further.. The kicker is I hit them way higher so they land very soft.

So with these hybrids do u have to 3/4 swing? I would alps keep my pw and sw in the bag.
