I have a 2002 Ford F150 xlt. I replaced the steering column. The steering column I replaced came with a key. It will not start . On the dash board it reads Theft .
i’m not pulling out the column but adding an extension right where the reluctor wheel is. and i can’t seem to separate that part no matter what i do is there a good way to do that?

Check and see if there is a key relearn process I know how they are on GM stuff from this era

Do you mean like right under the steering wheel or I don’t have the old one around anymore to look at so I’m not sure the best way
