To anyone who doesn’t want to or has the means to cut the dash over the rear screws a 4mm Allen key does work

To anyone thats gonna do this just drop the whole steering colum instead of ripping your whole dash apart. It's much easier

Look under the steering, remove 4 13 mm volts, when you do that the steering column will be resting on the seat. a lot easier, all the screws will be right there on top easily accessible I can fit my whole arm on top with a quarter inch ratchet in my hand and still have plenty of room.

Excellent tutorial, so strange how the previous owner cut the plastic where the Instrument cluster goes though.

Why don't you just go under the steering column and remove the 4 13 mm bolts and drop the column down

Just make sure you lube and put lock tight on all the screws and you'll never have the problem again
