2011 Chev Silverado Service Stabilatrac System C0710

This 2011 Silverado has the Service Stabilitrac message on the dash. Code scan retrieved C0710 for Implausible Steering Wheel Position Sensor. Replaced the sensor without completely removing the steering column.

I have a 2013 Suburban LTZ. I initially tried to replace mine. I removed the lower panel, the steel cross brace. I then moved the drivers seat all the way back. I simply could not get my body into a working position to get access to the fasteners undernesth the column.

It's not that accessible for sure. Job for a young body...

Could a person cut the bracket with a drimmel and then slide sensor out

If you drop the column the bracket is not that difficult to remove. I wouldn't recommend cutting it.
