I did have a few fubars as in forgetting some things when i was asked however i think overall it went great. And i will admit he did tell me a few times if i have questions. But for the most part he already answered everything. So it took me a while to think of a few. But i think i still did great.

My interview at a big organization was over 3 hours long. The supervisors who interviewed me asked a million questions, then they gave me a tour of the whole place, even their gym! After the interview I still had no idea if I got the job. Then 2 days later, they officially offered me the job!!!!

There are no signs or indicators. You can think you did well and didn’t. You can think you did poorly and didn’t. They have to like you and want you. And they usually know that in about 1-2 minutes

Hi! I have experienced these signs during my interview on July 1. I believe it went really well and it felt more of like a casual conversation. It went longer than expected and We also had some laughs too! They gave me positive responses such as “you seem very passionate in your career & I have great accounting experiences”. They asked me personal questions about where I’m from and they were so amazed. I felt really connected with the managers and after I met up with two of the directors where they explained to me about how their clients are loyal to them and they have programs where I can enchance my professional career which I thought was great! The directors gave me an office tour and introduced me to their staff. A few days after, the director sent me an email that they have a few more interviews to go and they will get back to me in a week or so. I’m waiting and trying my best to be patient & hopeful! I felt great & confident, however, I told myself to not get my hopes up because anything could happen. Do you think I have a chance?

Just had an interview today and I think it definitely went well. I found it interesting, though, that they skipped the phone screening process with me and went straight to the interview process.
I had a panel interview (scheduled for 60 minutes) and it went for 70-75 minutes. It felt like a conversation rather than an interview, they were describing things like “you would be doing X,Y,Z”, “you would be reporting to so-and-so”, and they asked about compensation at the end.
All signs point to a great interview but I don’t want to get my hopes up lol

I once interviewed with a office equipment company for a technician job. I was extremely nervous but everything went well.
I knew I had the job when I was halfway out in the parking lot and the guy who interviewed me opened the door and asked me to come back in to meet the service manager. All three of us chatted and talked about football, etc.
I was emailed an official job offer about 3 hours later. I was happy and accepted the position. I rose up over a three year period to become one of the top technicians in the company.
Unfortunately, the company management atmosphere changed. The job became very stressful and I left.

Then I had to answer 2 questions on the computer. One of them I got not right. Then He offers me a tour. So I asked him when do you think I did. He said I did well. @@myemmotion I did not. I'm having a problem where sometimes I would get interviews, get good signs that I may get the job, but I don't get hired. I'm almost convinced it's because of my bad online reputation. I was involved in a high profile court case and made a mistake that attracted various media outlets. I do not have a criminal background but people think I do. I had to do some community service. I've hired a reputation company to get the information off of the internet, but it's taking a long time and a lot of money.
I'm starting to think that maybe I should just bring it up in the interview and give my side of the story or put it in my cover letter so they know up front and won't be surprised learning about it later on their own. I'm at the point where I think it's way too risky. I don't know.

@@neetrab That could surely be one of the reasons, especially considering that this has happened to you more than once. It may not be necessary including it in your cover letter but you could mention it at some point during the interview.

Hi Marat and thanks for your useful videos.
I don't know in the rest of Europe but here in UK some companies like Roche have started with recorded interviews.
They send you a link, where you are recorded while a robot make you questions that have to be answered in maximum 2-3 mins. I think it's not fair, and I am very disappointed because there isn't human connection and you cannot ask for clarifications if the question is not clear.
In addition, it is frustrating because if you don't pass the interview they send you just a cold email..... without any feedback.
I don't know if I am fool, but I am happy didn't pass the test because I wouldn't like to work for a company such that.

    • @myemmotion
      @myemmotion  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there,
Thanks a lot for your kind feedback. And sorry to hear about the unpleasant recruitment experience, did they send you a link to HireVue? Or was it a software created by the company?
The automatization within the talent management had started years ago, but I still think it's not the area for the robots to take over. As you said, the human touch is extremely important, we are dealing with human beings after all, it's not a package delivery service. I completely understand what you mean. In fact I've made quite a few related videos on such "complicated" work environments.

It's very standard, there is nothing good or bad about it. How did the interview itself go?

In my case, I just did my second interview and I am waiting for the results next week. I think that the hiring manager was nice and engaging with me in a conversation during my first interview. But today, my unit manager did the interview and he was really serious or maybe even bored. I didn't fully understand my exact role but he explained it to me and I explained why I am a good candidate for the job. So thinking about two interviews, the hiring manager was great but I am not sure about the unit manager, it was much shorter and he was not in the mood I think. What do you think?

I had an interview 4 days ago, and I haven’t heard from them. The person who interviewed me gave me his business card and told me to give him a call for a follow up. Is that a good or a bad sign? By the way, the interview lasted for at least an hour.

Have you done 1 or more interviews? Did they share which are the next steps?
From what you are saying, they sounded interested, which is always a good sign.

@@perminusgogo794 It sounds promising then, the fact that they wanted to know about you being vaccinated means they are considering you.

if you are looking for work and are wondering if any ONE company is going to give you the job you interviewed for then you are not applying for enough jobs...you really need to spam the crap out of the entire United States in order to get your dream career. you shouldn't even remember what job you interviewed for because of the sheer volume of applications you have sent out
