    I just had an interview, and the employer was very engaged and friendly. we talked about salary, allowance, schooling, and what to expect. However, after the interview, he said that he just recently hired an apprentice. He also mentioned that, they're about to relocate to a new facility. after the interview, he left me a business card and told me to hear feedback within a week. He also introduced me to 1 of their team member.

    I had a interview Saturday morning. I got there about 10 min early for my interview and she took me right away and it was supposed to be 30 min but it went a little over 40. Very smily and laughing throughout the interview. Very engaging. Towards the end told me the pay rate and asked if I was okay with it. Then began to tell me what the next steps would be after being hired. Broke down the growth ladder and how to grow within the company as well

    My last interviewer had no personality. Asked questions not related to the job I was applying for. Was asking off the wall questions. I could tell he was using the STAR method......big red flag. In my experience hiring managers that use this hier poor employees......the company is probably toxic.

    • @mmeeddddddozzzzzzz3421
      @mmeeddddddozzzzzzz3421 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For those who don't know. The STAR method is a framework for structuring responses to behavioral interview questions. STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action, and Result. It can help candidates create a narrative and strengthen their answers, and can be especially useful for tailoring direct and concise responses to impress interviewers.

    I had several last week one with th recruiter, the general manager who loved my resume and our conversation, another one with the supply chain manager and head of R&D, i asked great questions, they evem brought up next steps, and i asked about feedback which the general manager said the feedback was great but We do have a large list of candidates however, so it will take us some time to go through the process. Thank you very much for your patience, we will be in touch soon! So idk if im over thinking or what and the Head of the R&D department said Thank you for the note following up. My interview was supposed to be 30 mins but it lasted for 45 mins. And the interviewers seemed to be quite engaged in the conversation. They were keen to hear about my internship experiences and even asked me what would I approach to a situation if an alternative scenario occurred during my internship. One of them even blinked and smiled at the HR (also part of the interview panel) when I asked them on what do they like about their job.
    Idk whether these are good signs but that was the best interview I did so far so even if I didnt get the job, I can still take away something positive from it.

    I had an interview for a 3 month contract two weeks ago. The recruiter for the client ask for 2 referees to conduct reference checks with I provided two previous managers. The recruiter contact one of my referees. And that referee told me that he gave a glowing reference. My referee also told me the recruiter mentioned I would be a good fit for the role and that is why they are conducting reference checks and mentioned from the reference check it sounded like a job offer was looming. However the recruiter provided a quick update early this week to inform me that the company is expecting to provide them an answer before Friday. It is Friday afternoon now and no update. I am not sure if will get the offer or not now since its been more than a week and a bit since the recruiter conducted reference checks.

    I keep getting scheduled as the “first” interview which results in long waiting times. The last 2 company interviews took 6 weeks, 3 rounds each, and they both didn’t offer. Currently, I was the first interview of the second round last week. Although they seemed very interested In me, placed me in the position and discussed how my expertise will move the team forward, and the recruiter has since followed up on the interview, during the interview they advised I am the first they have seen and they will have feedback this week or early next time. I’m starting to wonder if being the first scheduled is an advantage or set back?

    i went through 4 rounds of interviews. 1st recruiter, 2nd technical interview with engineer, 3rd interview with sr. management, 4th hiring manager. I felt I did well to go through 4 rounds, but my 4th one with hiring manager ended within 30 minutes, when it was scheduled for an hour long. Now i feel a little iffy about landing the job. I watched many of these videos and most say thats not a good sign. Is that pretty accurate, or does it depend on the interviewer? I did asked a few questions at the end, about the company, team and his vision for the team, and he did answered my questions in detail, and not vaguely answered. He also said he will reach out to the recruiter for next step, so i dont know what to think at this point.

    Had a great first phone interview, hit on almost all the positive signs (since it was not in person at the site), person I interviewed with is a director that would be my manager, said he would next like for me to speak with some other department managers that I would potentially be working with. I followed up with a thank you email to ask about next steps and got no response? I then asked the recruiter that set everything up and they said he wanted to meet me in person at the HQ offices which is great, but then again, no response within a few days? I don't feel like I miss read the situation with the positive feedback I got from the interview and the recruiter, but now communication has gone silent - it's as if they both just ghosted me, very strange.

    Hi I recently Did a interview, It was for a graduate role in the field of software development, I had asnwered all questions correctly and passed their technical assessment with ease. but was stuck on couple of problem (puzzles and logical questions) in which they helped me get to the solution. At the end the interviewer told that the interview went well, is it like a good sign ? I had one more doubt, They started to ask me about group activities that I had undertaken , I started to speak about an activity which I didnt mention in my resume (but I have mentioned about it on my linkedin profile) would it be a problem as spoke about things not in my resume ?

      Great job on getting through the interview and getting good feedback too! I wouldn't worry about that no, because you can't fit everything you've ever done into a resume as it would be way too long. As long as it's a truthful thing you've done before you're good!
