Well done Michael and Jimmy. You guys went above and beyond the normal demands of the Walker's Haute, with your extra climbs to various summits and the like. It was hard enough doing the standard version. Thanks for taking us along on your journey, I enjoyed the videos very much.

Michael and Jimmy I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your journey on the Haute route. Its challenging enough doing a multi day hike but you went the extra mile to document it for others to enjoy. Loved the way you tackled each day and gave us the virtual experience of being there with you and you were honest enough to show us when things didn't go exactly to plan and as we all know those things do happen. Looking forward to seeing your Haute route put into one video and your future adventures. I am off to the Lakes next week for a couple of days to get my fix of the outdoors and maybe i will one day bump into you lads on a mountain. Cheers

Things do go wrong from time to time, especially in the mountains, learning from them is the most important thing. It's great that you picked up on the virtual experience. I set out initially to make the videos a realistic memory for Jimmy and I to look back on, but it's great that people feel they were there with us on our journey. I am over the lakes a lot, I have a static in Pooley Bridge. Feel free to message me if you ever want to join up for a hike. Not sure if you know but Jimmy and I last year did a full and continuous backpacking journey of all 214 Wainwrights. By far the most difficult trek we have ever done. We completed it in 23 days. I am planning on replicating that journey in 7 long weekends, covering the 7 routes "Eastern Fells, North Western Fells etc in the coming year. I will publishing the journeys on TH-cam. If you ever fancy joining me your welcome.

Main ones have been the Capewrath trail in May 2022 (12 days) then Jimmy and I completed all the Lakedistrict Wainwright fells in one complete backpacking journey the following year.(23 days) only 4 people have ever done this including Jimmy and I. Then the Haute Route. This year we are off to Slovenia to do part of the slovenian mountain trail for two weeks.

Great. I’ve done the TMB twice which is very beautiful so thought I’d do the Haute Route this time.
