    I've been in back pain for like 7 years. 32 years old i felt like a old man. Started doing your transverse plain exercises i saw on the joe rogan podcast. My back is feeling great and im pain free after years of hell. Just wanted to say thanks.

      Have you tried stretching out your psoas muscle? I had back problems for over 20 years and once I started stretches out my psoas muscle and worked on strengthening my core I haven't had any problems in over a year. I'm 58 and I feel like 30 again.

      @@Don18376793 i have done yoga and the chiropractor. Little relief but i realized i didnt work my legs or back because of the pain. Did some of pats workouts with lightweight and good reps to slowly build up leg and back strength. I feel great

      My experience was i stopped training because of an injury and started doing a lot of stretching. Result was i made my lower back hyper mobile and weak because i had no strength training. Whenever i tried traditional strength training i would always end up hurting myself. Then i watched Pat Mac, his philosophy of training just blew my mind, I've started incorporating it into my workouts and I'm feeling strong and back pain is staying away.

      I fixed my back pain ( 2 disk bulges ) doing deadlifts man. I recommend. Currently my 1RM is 330 and I am 42 yrs old.

      NPC #102117 did you ? Sorry to hear that. I did too but it was 100% my fault because I completed a rep while losing posture. Spent over 3 months w/o deadlifting again then came back and slowly worked my way up weightwise and added a lot of planks. Now I am stronger and painless. It is all about posture and the right amount of volume.

    The use of the balance muscles and those flexors that stabilize us as we cross that transverse plane is one of the things i love about CST. Our bodies aren't static when we go through hell, we're in motion, so Pat, thanks for reinforcing the best aspects of that concept in these videos.

    Sometimes things come together to finally provide an answer to something. Injury prevents a KB get up but PatMac provides an alternative with a weighted bag - bloody brilliant!!

    about a year ago, at 53 and fat, slow; I didn't like the way I looked or felt, i decided to change my life. I chose CST as my training approach - I dont care how I look so much as what I can do. 50lbs later, I'm a different guy physically and mentally. Thank You Pat.

    I was ready to sub...I do not know if it was the crazy stuff, the hunting bow scenes, the whimsical southern grimaces, the combat mentality behind training... yet I wanted to see more of the guy to decide if it is worth it to follow the channel...
    Then I was 7:10... and I subbed.

    Glad to say I added kettleball sings and dumbbell snatches to my routine thanks to your videos. I know I need more functional strength exercises...it's just hard to change the routines and find what makes since.

    Awesome stuff, man! Not only do your workouts inspire me, your philosophy resonates with me. I've been doing Parkour, martial arts and other things for the last 10 years all with the purpose of being strong to be useful. Let me know if you are interested in some techniques for getting over obstacles faster and less painfully, I might have some ideas.

    I heard you on The Joe Rogan show. I’ve have so many new work out ideas for my back yard since watching your vids. My house is near a dense forest backed up to railroad tracks where I can find sand and stones that I pack in old canvas bags along with old railroad ties I’ve been using to work out.     This appeals to me very much. I have knee issues, arthritis and no cartilage in both knees. I refuse to quit my fitness, but how can I continue in a smart way? I want to thrive!! 40 years old 6’2” 215 lbs if it matters.

    I agree with your training 100% and if u think about static strength especially the kind guys like Bruce lee devon larratt mike Tyson etc have it's all based upon functional strength training it just plain and simple works best for human body.
