"With one bicep, that was a little challenging..." That's how you know you're in the presence of the real thing. They say stuff like that and they don't even seem to know how crazy it sounds.

Doug Richardson-You might want to do some research or talk to someone who actually has torn their long head of the biceps tendon. A completely torn bicep tendon typically will only reduce active elbow flexion by approximately 30 to 40% and approximately 50% of supination of the forearm. You must remember that active elbow flexion also uses the short head of the biceps as well as brachialis muscle which alone is stronger than the Long head of the bicep muscle. And yes, you can do a poll up with only one arm. You just need to search TH-cam to find proof will go to some CrossFit gyms.

I once walked by 50 yards from Pat McNamara while he was cleaning his weapon. A thick layer of hair spontaneously grew on my chest and I needed months of therapy to keep me from doing push-ups obsessively every half hour. Don't ask me how all of that happened, I'm still trying to figure it out.

I was the S2/S3 Sergeant Major at AWG when Mac was our trainer. I was already a weapons expert, but man did he raise my game to new heights. Not only did Mac know what HE was doing, he was also an excellent trainer and pulled the best out of us. CATC was an excellent course that taught skills mastery using the Outcomes Based Training methodology.

Pat is a true warrior without a doubt and whoever said "switched on, all the time" is right. Pat flew in and did a training with the CT State Police, a good friend of mine with a troop here in CT said Pat was unbelievable with weapons manipulation and everything he speaks to as well as what he demonstrates in his videos, great teacher. That after training they went out to eat. Pat walked the entire restaurant to see where all the exits were and made sure he covered every detail. Then made sure to be sitting facing the door. Freakin Beast!

Mr. Pat makes me feel like a two year old when I listen to him teach. His knowledge and skill set is so vast. I watched the video of him teach the 10th Mountain Division misfire scenarios. The 10th Mountain Division is a pretty rugged, well trained group. They seemed like a Boy Scout Troop, while he was teaching. I can’t imagine a team of five guys like Pat and Larry Vickers coming for someone. They are going to have a really bad day. Thank you for the training videos. They are the cutting edge best and dismiss old practices, “ institutional inbreeding.” Lol

Makes me think, could every Delta Guy be a Seal and could every Seal be a Delta Guy. Interesting question. But both these group of men are my heros

Sammy Sam yes/yes , no/no ....boils down to the man. Neither is inclusive , or exclusive to the other. Water , is a mean equalizer . No one , is badder then the water.

Delta is best of the best of the best. My guess would be every delta guy could be a seal, but not every seal could be delta

Seals are only tier 2. Only Delta and Devgru(ST6) are tier one. Delta and Team 6 are the elite of the elite.

Seals spend a lot of time in the water. Swimming is a skill that a lot of new recruits don’t have. Then there is hydrophobia. Which is a real thing. If you are not familiar with water it will almost disqualify you immediately. In the process of weeding out the weak links, if instructors see sailors struggling, they spot it out and make it more difficult. Based on Inside Delta Force, delta candidates are required to swim 50 meters ( I think), which is a short distance that poor swimmers can get thru. Once in delta, operators have access to some of the best courses available, one being scuba. Not all operators go thru the scuba course. On the other, by the time seal operators make it to team six, they are already experts in the water. So based on the water component, I would say not all delta could be seals. Also, I don’t think all seals could be delta because land navigation is required to get through the qualifying course. Land navigation is taught thru Ranger school and special forces programs. Without this skill, you would be running around in a mountainous forest without a clue where you’re going. That’s why most operators come from special forces or Rangers. Based on this, I don’t think many of the seals candidates would be able to qualify. I’m sure there are many super humans who can do both, but for the most part, I think it’s safe to say, many seals could not be delta, and many delta could not be seals.
