If this sounds different from what you remember, the original studio version (and iconic official video) was a collaboration with David Bowie with him and Freddie sharing the lead vocals. There's a video where some fan took the studio version and combined it with this Wembley footage.

This song was a collaborative composition between Queen and David Bowie. John Deacon wrote the iconic bassline which was the starting point of the song. In this performance, Freddie sings Bowie's part and Roger(Drums) sings Freddie's part. Vanilla Ice ripped off the bassline for Ice, Ice Baby but tried to say it was his and got sued for 10 million + and of course Queen and Bowie won the lawsuit. They were nice about it and did not make VI pull the song completely giving him permission to use the riff in this song only. VI later tried to say that Brian had sold the riff to him and that it was his now. That too was not true, Queen and Bowie still own it.

Those were the days when we were spoiled for choice and we could see bands with overwhelming talent like Queen with Freddie Mercury one week and then go see David Bowie the next. So much talent and every once in awhile some of our Rock Gods got together and made unique music. We had no idea how lucky we were but we had fun and saw it all since there wasn’t a phone, tablet in our hands. We left taping it all to the professional camera man. ❤

Queen magic tour covered 26 shows across Western Europe and one show behind the iron curtain in Hungry, also two shows in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 at Wembley Stadium 1986, one show on the Friday the other show on Saturday, crowd at each Wembley venues 72,000 people, the same year Queen performed at Knebworth Park 🇬🇧 uk to a estimated crowd of 120,000 or more this was Freddie’s very last live performance ever,I actually attended all three shows in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, I have many different memories of all the concerts, I am so fortunate to see Freddie’s last ever live performance ever, the song Under Pressure when Vanilla Ice stole Queens bass guitarist John Deacons rift the band decided to sue Vanilla Ice, but eventually it was settled out of court for a sum of 4 million dollars, which in today’s value would be worth over 11 million dollars, great reaction thanks 🙏

As always a great reaction to the best rock band ever. I was in that crowd in July 1986 (Saturday night one) after first having seen them live at Live Aid in 1985 when I was 16 years old. I have been a fan EVER since. I also saw them live at Knebworth in August 1986 which turned out to be Freddie's last LIVE performance with Queen as he became too poorly to tour. Overall I saw them live 3 times and they were AMAZING.
Keep down the Queen rabbit hole please as there is so much more, below are some other suggestions:-
One Vision/In the Lap of the Gods/Tie Your Mother Down/Seven Seas of Rhye/Tear It Up Medley - Live Wembley 1986
Who Wants to Live Forever - LIVE either at Wembley or Budapest 1986
Another One Bites the Dust - LIVE Wembley 1986 (Saturday night version)
Love of My Life - LIVE Wembley 1986/Montreal 1981
Save Me - LIVE Montreal 1986
Tutti Fruiti Medley - LIVE Wembley 1986 (Saturday night version)
Also you MUST MUST MUST react to the Queen coming up with both the lyrics and the music of One Vision. It is listed as One Vision Documentary, please make sure you get the right version and the shorter version (16 mins long). The longer version is approximately 20 minutes long, it shows the band's humour with one another. Listen out for Freddie's impromptu near the end where he sings "One dump, one turd, two tits, John Deacon" ..... it's hilarious !!!

UNDER PRESSURE was ranked #2 in Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top Ten Rock Collaborations!! What can I say? EPIC! Freddie & David Bowie never sang the song together live. But! David Bowie sings it live with the three remaining Queen members at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, featuring Annie Lennox (Eurythmics). Vanilla Ice stole the bass line for “Ice Ice Baby” and was sued by Queen & David Bowie! Umm, getting sued by the Rock Gods, yikes! Anyway, V.I. lost his ice-cold shirt in the lawsuit! Thank you for the Queen videos, love ‘em!

If you want to see something really special then react to Love Of My Life, Rock in Rio 1985 where Freddie has over 250,000 people singing to him. He knew he had it around this tour because Roger even said Freddie knew he wasn't terribly well..he was tiring very easily...hence he said he wouldn't tour again. He had AIDS. But, he was diagnosed with full blown AIDS In 87. So he had no idea how long he had to live....
