Thank you for your explanation. It was almost complete.
Thank you sir for the such informative lecture
It's a very good explanation. Thankyou sir
I like your all video, detailed explanation
THank you!
Thank you sir, really liked the explanation.
Thank you, very helpful!
Hello sir, i am having a doubt at 23:05, Earlier you have explained if F=2 means that width of gate finger divided by 2. It means total width remaining same. Similar concept of finger explained in multifinger layout. But here @23:05 Size 4u but it should be only 2u due to m , becoz F will not change size. Please answer it.
Sir one doubt . I am facing power IR in m3 metal. 1. Double width 2. Parallelly create one more m3. Which one will give better reduction in resistance.. This is interview questions
Double of the w is easy
Ya but . Which one will reduce more resistance.. Athu confuse ah iruku sir
How can you say that multiplier problem is related to gate? There is no current flowing through gate.
When about Voltage drop ? In poly
Hi sir , thanks for your explanation. I have a doubt, we know that current does not flow through the gate. And also other side of the poly is not comnected to any voltage. The voltage shud remain same right?
Voltage drop will be there IR drop
when width is halfed the resistsance will be doubled not becomes half .....
Can you explain how ?
well correct, as when Width is increased Resistance should be decreased as Area increases, but here he meant to say is for fixed Width and Resistance value, if the width is half then Resistance is half overall, comprising the half width area. Ex: Width (W) has Resistance (R). If width is half, cut in half, the resistance also becomes half, understand it in terms of Resistance per unit area.
Sir as you explained we can change the width of the transistor, then it effect in Vth right as capacitance is directly proportional to Area... If it is Vth will be different for every gate in the mosfet.
here we are not changing the width of the transistor we are just splitting it(W/2), since the width is more. this won't effect on Vth. and the width of the transistor will be fixed by the circuit engineers it is fixed you cannot vary it
in mosfet there will be no current in gate, why u are referring current to gate
can u explain , how voltage will flow from one place another place , without current ????
But then the concept of gate with oxide is given
every where , if there is voltage , there will be current ................. mosfet operation is diff , but the wire which is connected to the gate , that will carry vtg & current
@@analoglayout isnt the voltage same in a piece of wire if it open circuit?
Sir as per your lecture we will go for fingering first and then multipliers,is it correct sir
Both u can use , based on the circuit voltage and current
If the multiplier is 4, does it mean that the effective width now is 4x?
No, u are dividing the 1 transistor width into 4.suppose u r transistor having 2w width, then u r making it into 4 multipliers of width w/2.Hope it is clear
No W is reduced
15:15 according to the video, multiplying increases both W and L by the multiplier, to parallel transistors to carry more current, the effective width and effective WL ratio remains the same (these 'no' comments above seem to be incorrect)
Rapid ESD, and short channel effects video
ESD will be available soon
I m also waiting esd concept
Would you please do video on esd
Can you provide the reference book on this?
Can you help us for How to use mod gen tool
Generally I won't use morgen tool much , I have my own script for matching stuff

hello sir , please share the ppt sir
Long back i have prepared this ppt, i don't have this

you're good, but sometimes you talk abut topics very long....saying the same thing double times.
Every one not good like you, that's why I'm repeat so many times for better understanding
