    It turned out my autoblade didn’t need cleaning, but it was jammed. Knowing how to get the end off helped me get it unstuck and saved me money (for now) replacing it.
    Thank you!

    What can I do with the blades once they start not cutting as smoothly as when I first got them? Should they just get thrown away? I've heard to use a foil ball to sharpen the blade but don't know how effective that is. Thanks!

    • @rtgross
      @rtgross 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a folded piece of tin foil on my premium blades and it does wonders!! Haven’t tried it on an auto blade but I’m sure if you set it to 10 it would do the same.

      @@rtgross you just used a folded piece of foil with the blade out of the machine holding it upright and pushed it down into the foil? Not quite understanding. Can you please explain a little more in detail. Thank you!

    • @rtgross
      @rtgross 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eliseguise3605 yes I fold the foil several times until its about a 3 inch square and I set the blade to 1 or 2 and hold it straight upright and cut lines into the foil from one side to the other. over time youll have to change your blade setting because some of the blade wears off so a setting of 2 will be more like 1 and not cut.

    Hi Lisa, i am using cameo 4 auto blade, mine is not cutting no mark at all, even I made sure that It is properly clicked and locked into its position in Cameo 4 machine. So I watched this movie and opened the end of the blade case and cleaned it and had removed some dirt. Upon closing i used the tool to tighten it, and it cut but it cut through the paper even I lowered the blade to 1, so I decided to somewhat loosen the screw then it returns to no cut situation again. What do you think is the problem? thnx
