- The Hollywood Shill Media is outright lying to you now in an attempt to protect woke Disney. They're saying that abysmal fan critical reception for Star Wars The Acolyte is due to "review bombing," thus putting none of the blame for this show on Disney, Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, or Leslye Headland. They're also claiming that Doctor Who just had its first ever gay kiss despite the fact that Doctor Who had its first gay kiss back in 2005 (and then again in 2017).
Marvin the Movie Monster explores this media gaslighting attempt while pointing out the massive divide between the Hollywood Media and the fans they're supposed to be serving.

6:47 Rise of Skywalker likely had its audience score locked to 86% as it never changed after the first few reviews and in spite of how many more came after. Take a guess as to which direction it was likely heading if that were the case.

Hello Furball. I could never get into ANY bbc sci fi television because of the production and pacing. I do remember the Doctor with the afro and long scarf was the only Doctor Who i didnt immediately turn off.
Funny that you brought up AEW, as I was thinking, them saying you are not a fan of something if you don't like this specific thing reminds me of when AEW says you are not a wrestling fan if you don't like, say The Young Bucks. I am thinking Disney must be wrestling fans, and maybe the stories when WWE was up for sale, and Disney wanting to buy was true, as they seem to take so much from wrestling. Unfortunately it is the bad side that they are taking from wrestling. Not listening to fans like Vince use to do, making up numbers like I mentioned previously, and saying that you are not a fan if you don't like something. If I got the location wrong I apologize it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the episode.
Can we somehow sneak in a live action remake of "we're going on a bear hunt" or maybe dig up the classics I used at school, aged 5? Stone burns? Yeah, in a fucking volcano! And I'm not going to list the fundamentals that'd get this shot down in a creative writing evening class. Or better yet, create some categories on review sites that actually aggregate how many fundamentals are missing, used egregiously etc, being as showrunners / modern TV writers are so fucking terrible!
And yes, I have problems with your continuing shoehorning of personal politics into a series meant for everyone, maybe it wouldn't be so egregious if the writing wasn't terrible but, jeez. But please go on concentrating on none of it to complain about how there are no LGBT people in Hollywood? (That was an actual statement at an awards show, I can't speak for the women but there'd hardly be a leading man left in Hollywood if there were no gay men/ resigned to the casting couch for career type man!)
And Dr Who, not watched for years, caught his accent, I've lived in Britain all my life, and been most places, not where his voice hails from! Look and feel wise, he passes the quaintly odd test for a Dr, far more than the soap opera actress, but again, get a writer, not a fucking pamphleteer. (Yes I know Daniel Defoe wrote Robinson Crusoe and yes he was a pamphleteer, but we had to pack him off on a ship to a continent that we wrote off, that was a mistake hmm? But we packed all our nuts off, and now you run the world!)
