Started watching on my phone as soon as I got the notification. My wife said, “why don’t you watch it on the TV instead.” Best wife in the world to put up with my hunting obsession!
I’m sitting here with my husband and 19 month old. I love watching how how much they love watch you guys. And every time you guys bugle, my little one try’s to copy you! What more could a momma ask for. Thanks for another great season! 🤗
Taking the time to recognize that even with lack of sleep and all the added emotions that come along with that like motivation, the Elk 101 crew is still able to keep the audience interested and the recordings professional and family friendly! Thank you guys for what you do.
You guys are the real deal! I am a relatively new elk hunter that is looking for any and all information I can to harvest an elk. Elk hunting is brutal!!!! But Elk 101 is amazingly insightful!! thank you
I’m a longtime bow deer hunter from Northeastern Ohio and have made a bucket list goal to make a trip out west to pursue the majestic Elk. In my process of searching TH-cam videos to educate myself I have crossed your videos several times and have become a huge fan. You’re videos provide the explanation and reasoning on the why and how from all aspect on hunting elk. Again, I’m just getting started on educating myself and look forward to watching all of your videos as possible. I wish you continued success on all your hunting adventures and educational videos.
“Either they are quiet....or they aren’t here” has been my thoughts for the last two years in Northern Idaho. Going to keep attending “Elk 101” school and change that next September.
Any day in the elk woods is better than a day at work. Unless your job involves hunting, then every day is a good day. Keep up the good work. Look forward to the videos every day.
I love how real all your videos are it's nice to see we all make the same mistakes no matter how long we have been doing this. Thx for the great videos.
My wife and my kids laughed at the ant joke! Lol I'll put that one in my back pocket! Thank you again for the cool videos! Corey you need to teach me how to call with diaphragm calls! I've been practicing but just cant get it right. Even bought one of your calls and been trying it for a while now. Thanks again!
Well if that was a hunter they were obviously a pretty decent caller and if so kudos to them. Bugle-berry, what a name. Thanks for the distraction, I'm already looking forward to the next 28.
I’ve got to try this Oregon Roosevelt hunting! Such a different elk hunt! Almost looks like a different world compared to here in Utah. So thankful for Elk 101 and you guys for all of your expertise and willingness to share! Thank you!
Thanks to Brinkers “accident” I changed out my quiver and added a first aid kit! I am sure David doesn’t want to be remembered for that but I would bet money someone’s going to get in a bind and be grateful they were prepared. Thanks for being real and showing us all that things can happen even to the best of us.
I love this show, It is so cool to see hunting in another state! I'm in the great state of Wyoming and I can't imagine trying to get through all the brush quietly. Love the show and how y'all interact with us and each other in the segments.
Love this series! My wife doesn’t understand how I can watch an hour of tv with two guys whispering! It’s heaven!! Especially for a 5th grade teacher!!
That’s pretty cool you guys were in Ontario Oregon that’s where I live at would of been pretty cool to see u guys but at that time I was elk hunting also didn’t tag out but make a lot of good memories with my 8 year old son can’t wait for next season hopefully the luck will be in my favor. Keep up the good work on the videos love watching them learn so much for ur channel
Hahahaha Donny these dad jokes are terribly awesome. As a recent new dad I feel my eyes have been opened to all quality of Dad Jokes, and yours sir are right up there.
Its awesome to see how you guys can overcome and adapt to the situation at hand when trying to locate and get in on bulls. Definitely helps seeing the different strategies you guys use to make things come together!
Great duo to following along with ..you guys are awesome. Hands down one of the best elk series out there. Thanks for what y’all do and keep it coming.
Really enjoyed the logic to determine that you were actually calling a "real elk"! I really enjoy your down home feeling as you teach us how you guys make it happen! Blessings...
Great stuff boys, I was hoping it was going to come together for Donnie with consecutive opening day harvests, but no such luck. Keep up the good work!
Welcome back to the jungle and brushy terrain of the Pacific Coast range. Wait until you hit salal brush over your head and having to crawl elk trails to get through to the next opening. Good luck and really hope you succeed !!!
It's fun to let my hunting buddies know about the day by day hunts on your channel. Thanks to you both for teaching me as I watch these episodes about elk hunting. I have been hunting deer since my teens, and I have very high hopes that my first elk hunt ever will happen in 2020!
Looks like a great area to hunt. Workload will be better getting the Elk to the truck. You did see Elk and bulls witch is a plus. I so enjoy watching the hunting days from place to place. Keep it coming.

Donny is “killin” it every day with his dad jokes.. keep em coming! 🤣
His reaction makes them funnier than anything. I started cracking up just because the look on his face showed he thought it was so funny. Great stuff.

Cory: "We are not experts..." - lol...I wonder who the experts are:-) A great mix of entertainment and education. Keep it up!
I knew it was you! When I heard the bugling that day I told my husband, “that sounds like Cory Jacobson!” Sorry you got Doug Flutied by us 😉
The look on David's face when donnie said he built an ant house. Priceless.
That elk sure sounded like a person when it “chuckled”.
Great show at video gents. Ordered Corey's Elk101 Vital Calling Kit, going to give calling a try for the first time. TY
My kids always got the same expression on their face as Corey did after picking and eating fresh berries while out hunting-priceless 😂‼️
Haha the ant-icipation of this series is killing me!!😂
At the end of V2 you need to make a video of every days "Donnie's Dad Joke" all strung together it would win an Emmy!!!
Best part of this episode: After David slaps his quiver...Donnie: “you’re arrow is coming out”....hahaha!!!! Awesome stuff guys!!
You guys are the real deal!
I am a relatively new elk hunter that is looking for any and all information I can to harvest an elk. Elk hunting is brutal!!!! But Elk 101 is amazingly insightful!!

The humor just keeps getting better and better already!!! Love it!
Any day in the elk woods is better than a day at work. Unless your job involves hunting, then every day is a good day. Keep up the good work. Look forward to the videos every day.
Guess that makes me their landlord and they’re my ten-ants 😂
David B. is a savage, he didn't even acknowledge Donnie's Dad joke.
Right?! I was thinking the same thing.
The age-old question "is that a hunter?" often very difficult to know ...
Oregon Roosevelt are one tough elk to hunt they don’t like to talk much but very fun to hunt
Some of the best education and entertainment in the outdoor industry.
As a dad I completely appreciate the Dad jokes! Keep them coming!
Baby number one on the way and my wife has already said “I hope she can learn to call like Corey so you can finally kill one”.... bless her heart.
Makes me feel better when you guys aren’t sure if it’s a person or elk.
I love how real all your videos are it's nice to see we all make the same mistakes no matter how long we have been doing this. Thx for the great videos.
Ten-ants! Now that’s some pro comedy right there Donnie. Haha

I loved Don's ant joke. That was just a great dry joke. Corey and Dave are a tough crowd to please haha
Actually looked like an ideal Oregon hunt with the weather. You guys certainly look like you AR having a lot more fun this year!
Thank you for the professionalism or ethics that you have!
Hoping for a better season in Oregon this year for you guys and no injuries.
Well if that was a hunter they were obviously a pretty decent caller and if so kudos to them. Bugle-berry, what a name. Thanks for the distraction, I'm already looking forward to the next 28.

Best intro every. The elk at the end is amazing. I just keep watching it over and over.
Dad jokes are TOTALLY underrated. Keep it up
Another great episode, the coastal rainforest makes for some challenging hunting for sure.
Darn blackberrys I can’t go by them without eating some. Great shows so far.
I like to see that you guys have the same struggles every other hunter has. You don’t only show your successful days and that’s cool.
Opening day of oregon was better than my entire season! Excited to keep following along.
Love the dad jokes they add a great quality to these videos.
You guys got 54 thousand viewers waiting for some Rosy action. Great footage keepem coming.

Every time I start a video my son comes running to watch with me. My youngest tries to replicate the sounds. It is cute
I don’t know about the rest of your audience but I am really loving the comic relief out of DD. Keep them dad jokes coming.

Great duo to following along with ..you guys are awesome. Hands down one of the best elk series out there. Thanks for what y’all do and keep it coming.
It’s amazing watching your show the difficult is identifying if it’s a elk or another hunter
It's nice to see that even the best question wether or not it's an elk or a hunter from time to time!
Best elk series on TH-cam!! Great job guys
Lots of hunters stay home when it's hot, but the more time put in the brush will pay off for you. Great video's and ""JOKES"".
love the series, especially when you verbalize your thought process during the hunt. I learn something every episode.
That was a solid “dad joke” Donnie... I got a good chuckle from it! Also great to see Brinker back on here this year!!
Looked like a long day! Loved the positive attitudes, jokes and smiles at the end with little sleep. The grind still beats any day in the office!
Really enjoyed the logic to determine that you were actually calling a "real elk"! I really enjoy your down home feeling as you teach us how you guys make it happen! Blessings...
The coordination that it takes to shoot these videos is crazy. You guys do a great job!
Love how you guys always show start to finish videos of hunts shows the whole experience 👍🏻
I grew up in W Orygun and sure wish I had started hunting ELK when I was young. It's fun seeing familiar terrain- stay tough!!
I don't know what it is about Donnies delivery on his jokes but I think it adds to the humor big time.
Welcome back to Oregon! Glad to have you!
Great stuff boys, I was hoping it was going to come together for Donnie with consecutive opening day harvests, but no such luck. Keep up the good work!
After seeing them all it’s cool to watch the opener and see the little snippets bunched together. A great season!
Every year to see the Elk101 guys in my home state is so awesome to watch! Corey could def call me in with his calling!
Welcome back to the jungle and brushy terrain of the Pacific Coast range. Wait until you hit salal brush over your head and having to crawl elk trails to get through to the next opening. Good luck and really hope you succeed !!!

I really learned a lot watching last season, but the Dad jokes take this series to a whole new level.
"TenANTS" not sure I should have laughed that much at that 😂😂... you guys are great thanks for the entertainment and education
Thank you filming and letting us learn from your hunting ventures.
Awesome content! I love sitting down and watching this even when there isn’t as much action.
Donnie jokes are hilarious. Looking forward to the next one.
Glad to see Brinker is doing well. Keep the jokes coming Donnie!
I thought that bugle sounded like a person as well.
This is awesome, It really helps me see different scenarios and teaches me things that I may not know! So thanks!!
Y'all need a sponsor for the daily dad jokes! we dads can never get enough of those! :D
Guys love what you do...
Donnie: “Why did the coffee file a police report? It got mugged.”
God bless you all ... you put smiles on many faces!!!
The production quality on these videos is awesome! Thanks for putting in so much hard work!
what a great tip to help tell if its a hunter bugling, listen if the downwind cows move on and if it keeps bugling at you it could be a dude!!
Awesome first day in Oregon. Looks like good elk country. Can't wait to see how it turns out in the next few episodes.
Love to see the difference in habitat along the coast ...
Love the berry bar stops during the hunt. Hunt ...and gather.
Glad to know you boys are mere mortals...sometimes anyways! Good stuff again...
Glad to see no blood drawn this time... man blood that is! Good job on the ol safety check - haha!
You guys are killing it! Really like what you do.
Looks like a great area to hunt. Workload will be better getting the Elk to the truck. You did see Elk and bulls witch is a plus.
