Okay now, how to flat fold one with the new TRAC?
Excellent video, Sir!
Thank you! I was looking for a way to stage it for a arm cause if I stage it for a leg it is real hard to apply to your own arm single handed.
Yes I like to stage for an arm better
I have the older version of soft-t and pretty much kept them the way they come in (- the plastic bag ofc) fit OK into the IFAK pouch, but I will probably try your method to see if it looks/feels better
Let me know how it works out for you!
I tried it with my edc tq and I have to say it feels way slimmer than before and I managed to apply it (with rubber bands and non dominant hand) under a minute, it definitely stays packed like this - thank you.
Well done and thanks for all the good info!
great video...thankyou...i nave the CAT gen seven ...that is my personal choice...i hope that i never need to use it...
I like the CAT Gen 7 too ... I hope you never use it as well!
SkinnyMedic Are they just as good as each other in use?
Great video. What is your preferred TQ ? The one you carry or reach for first. Thanks.
Hey Skinny, have you seen the new, new SOFTT Wides? They have a hook system similar to the CAT. Makes it easier to secure one handed, but it makes it a little more thick on the packing.
No I haven't seen that one released from Tacmed Solutions
Thank you.
Thank you!
Wouldn’t the rubber bands increase deployment time? Seeing that you can lose fine motor control in literally seconds, that could be detrimental, even fatal. But then again, I’ve never deployed a tourniquet, or been in any tactical situations.
It keeps it nice and organized which helps speed up deployment.
Also, I do love Jesus too but can you stop posting the paragraph about Jesus on all my videos.
Just a suggestion, dont use black touniquets for demonstrations, it can ce difficult to tell whats happening
I only carry the orange ones anyway. Cops, doctors, and EMTs (in my experience) are usually pretty dimwitted so I want those TQs to really stand out.
Raider Badlands good idea
@@raiderbadlands As a (probably dimwitted) paramedic, I also only carry orange tourniquets so any responders - and ER staff - are more likely to see it, especially since I wear a lot of black and dark denim.
waiting on you to do an ankle carry IFAK/trauma kit...
already have th-cam.com/video/EEs8E9_85SE/w-d-xo.html
SkinnyMedic you sir, are an eagle among turkeys.
I was asked "why did you buy a tourniquet?" I should have replied why do you wear your seatbelt? Do you expect to get in a bad accident? Thanks for the video I am going to do this with the ones I received I think.
I did not get rubber bands when I ordered this from you. Also when demonstrating folding and application, don't use a black one. Virtually impossible to see detail.
TacMed has stop using the rubber bands.
They no longer include them in the package.
Now let's see you stuff it into a NAR tq holder lol
I think that is against the rules! haha
Use your teeth to get those rubber bands off. Faster.
Yes I should have
if we could just get the CAT to fold flat.
it comes flat folded haha
SkinnyMedic not that flat.
