This is the best video you’ve ever done. Without a doubt. What an absolute vibe. Felt like I was there with you all! Incredible! I hope you are so proud as without you and all the Internationelles… We simply wouldn’t have this race and to have this iconic finish is just amazing! ❤ Chapeau, Lou! Xx
That was the most bonkers, beautiful thing I've seen in a while. My granny next door actually came checking on me, because apparently I was continuously grinning and laughing for no reason. What an adventure, what a ride up the Alpe, what a group of people to share it with and what an achievement to see your dream come true. I'm so happy for you.
So I waited days before watching this video because I didn’t want your amazing behind the scenes journey to end. This years TDFF was absolutely the most exciting bike race and you had no idea who was going to win in the end till the very end. So many reasons your videos are so sun to watch A) you having so much fun and your views along the route you rode are different then the TV coverage because you show all the fans as they are preparing to cheer on the riders. B) your relationship with Rob and how you support each other is beautiful C) how inspiring you were to help make this event happen and how you and the Internationels worked so hard and you all deserve to be so very proud. D) how fun you can make road painting and roadside cheeseburger delivery service was AWESOME !!! Thank you Lou and Rob, Rhian and Lara for sharing your rides and smiles along 8 of the best cycling racing days anyone has ever seen. I look forward to more fun content and Lou after that mountain you just concurred heck your upcoming race will be a walk in the park. ❤❤❤
One of the best race finishes I've seen in a while. Way to go ladies in Le Tour. Congrats to you and your posse for doing the climb as well and making it look like "what's the big deal". Made it look easy.
Thank you so much for advocating to hard to bring the TDF Femmes avec Zwift to reality. The race finish today was the best. Your enthusiasm was infectious. Kudos to your hubby for his support. Cheers 🌞🚴♀️🖖 Hoping to see Lael Wilcox as she hammers through my state of Oregon, USA this week❤
Off the Charts!!! Amazing. I can't say anything more. Thank you and your other teammates for spearheading the way and showing the world what women can do!
I was waiting for this one to come out! Your passion and joy is inspiring, infectious and incredible. You deserved that celebration on the corner and those moments of being utterly overwhelmed after the journey and work you've had over the years - the campaign, fitness woes, struggles - the lot. I know that pre-hill fear all too well, although perhaps not on the level of the alpe! This year's trip for you has been great watching and I really want to get out there and do it - a video on the logistics, planning and how-tos would be great!
So glad you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for such a lovely comment. Team work really makes it, I couldn't do these trips without Rob and Rhian! 💗💗💗
Mad props Lou. You should take pride is helping to bring TdF² avec Zwift to the world of cycling. Proof positive that you can bring dreams to reality. Kudos to Rob for his support...same for all the lunatics screaming with you up the climb. Thank you for a wonderful series. Have fun drinking Champagne 🍾
I thought you be a bit worried at the start but you had worlds best pacer Katie so I knew you'd be fine. What a day on the Alp and Alison she's just brilliant.
Hey Lou - Agree with so many of these comments - have been following your daily updates here in Australia - am going to be at next year's TDFF and this hands down - has given us the best insight to what it's like on the stages - incredible insight - so much fun - great riding (have noted the "do NOT agree to a ride that ends in a ski town" line for reference) . . . as for getting to party with the party legend that is Alison Jackson - you soooo deserve it! enjoy the champers and safe travels home - huge shout out to Rob too - he rocks!
Thank you for the lovely comment and thank you for following along every stage of the way! Yahooooo to next year, see you there, get ready to party!!! 💗💗💗
What a great series and what a brilliant fun team / crew to share it with. It worked because I watched and followed the race which frankly I did not really know about … it was super exciting. Thanks!
That was an amazing video Lou made us feel like we're all there cheering the ladies on what an atmosphere for the riders and spectators Congratulations on all your and Rob's accomplishments on promoting the Femmes Avec Zwift it's a fantastic race
Even though I was younger, lighter and fitter, I only had one pace when I went up the Alpe, a “granny-gear grovel”. In my defence, I had done the Galibier in the morning. Thanks for your advocacy and your videos, they bring a unique perspective to TdFF.
Omg. I want to be there next year and have the same experience.. Last years coverage was awesome and this year's just showed me the TDFF is so much fun. Thanks Lou, Rob, Rhian and all the epic females in the TDFF
@@MyLouTube you helped me justify buying a new bike made in Europe and riding it ahead of the event.. Cos shipping and taxes to get it to Australia is more than me enjoy the TDFF...
Beyond legendary. Congratulations Lou! You made the cut on the EF team's RaceTV episode for Stage 8 on their YT channel! At about 7:07 you can see you standing by the side of the road, then shortly after, there is a shot of Allison eating her burger after the finish (I assume it was the one from you).
I have to ask, do you know Alison Jackson or are you just a super fan? Brilliant video, one of the best you've done I reckon. Kudos on riding Alpe d Huez as well, I'll have to do it one day before I get too old.
Both? Haha. Alison & I have followed each other for about 4 years on Instagram. She was really supportive of what the InternationElles were doing and we connected because of that. I’ve just taken it upon myself to lovingly harrass her at the TDFF for the last couple of years because she’s such a good sport and brings so much fun to cycling, an absolute breath of fresh air for our sport. Yes, do the Alpe, with the right gear and pace it’s a great experience! 💖💖💖
🤨 methinks Lou may have had a bit of the pink drink--that would explain it. But really, LOU, you & all the Internationelles (AND Rob) should feel extremely proud. Oh yeah, Allison rocks.
A Beautiful NUTTER thank God for wonder Woman as you are you made a impact for sure love the video im a follower starting to day keep safe big hug "Louise for life " xxx.
4 seconds !!! Gutted for Demi, after being "left out to dry" by certain "team-mates" after that ridiculous roundabout exit pile up ! :( Why is it the men's TDF last day is always some "chilled out" champagne procession, until it hits the Champs Elysees ?
Women's racing was not nearly as developed in 1984 as it is now. Annemiek van Vleuten, Demi Vollering and many others are great champions. Being American Mara Abbott is one of my favorites. Being champions eight of them deserve to ride in the Tour de France right along with the men. As much as Alfonsina Strada did in the 1924 Giro. It is not to win but to strive to be the best they can for the UCI, ASO, the male peloton to honer them as champions (and get in a break and maybe win!). This is not plausible because of training schedules, RULES 🤮, 20 stages breaks men I have no idea how long the best women in the world could last. Have you ever watched the movie Field of Dreams.
Xx
